I'm having some weird problems with the wallet. I'm mostly solo mining and for the most of the day i get an expected amount. But after a while, even if the difficulty is around 200, my income would become horribly non regular like 10-30x longer to get a block. Then I close the wallet and always get a "bitquark has stopped responding" part and then ofcourse I have to force close it. When I open it again, my income rate is again back on track. This has started a couple of days ago. Has anyone else encountered this?

Not I. Been solo mining for weeks. Only problem I run into is I can't point more than 4 computers total to the local daemon. Additional computers simply do not mine.

What OS are you using? What version wallet do you have? Did you compile or are you using a pre-compiled binary?

I haven't had any problems with solo mining either.

on another note, it looks LTC is dying and DRK is taking over. 36 hours ago I dumped all my LTC and QRK, then exchanged them for DRK @ 0.0136 BTC each...now I have more than doubled my money and once I see DRK starting to decline, I will then cash out and buy a truck load of BTQ Cool

EDIT: DRK just hit 0.028 BTC 0.033 BTC...that's effin crazy

I actually started mining DRK a bit. Aside from the 10DRK Darksend limit and outrageous diff, I like the anonymous model.

I think there is a better way to make transactions anonymous without limitations. I will work on such a method for BTQ Wink

Created new multifaucet. Get FREE BTQ!
multifaucet . tk

OOOOOOOOOHHHhhh. A whole 0.001BTQ a day? What ever would I do with all that coin?
Considering that even a single computer CPU mining can expect no less than 10 BTQ or so a day pool mining, I dare say no one will pay you any attention.

good idea, darksend is only ok if client can choose to send anonymous or regular, if coin has to be taken by mainstream, then darksend is bad, because mainstream will not accept darksend, but darksend will be used fo shady businessess, so 2 ways of transactions have to be as a client posibility

My winblows 7 work laptop took some updates a couple of days ago. Whereas is WAS mining at about 73Kh/s/thread x 4 (290 total), best it will do now is 15Kh/s/thread using Win64_All_Improved2 minerd.exe or 12KH/s/thread using quark_cpuminer-2.3.2_w64. WTF???

No I'm using the newest official binaries (I don't compile). I'm on 7 64 bit. Oh well, I was just wondering if this is a general problem. Guess it's just me. I wil try and put the wallet on the desktop, because right now it is on a drive that shuts down automatically and I think it might be causing some slight problems.

Ah, yes, but when I'm playing around in this field now, I use an Arduino, and/or Square1 SIC. Maybe I should offer up some of my CCPWM,s!

QUESTION: Ok with all these other crypto's coming out with "anonymous" sending features etc., how does one stay "anonymous" when buying an item online?? Wouldn't you loose your "anonymity" when you buy that item and then have to enter your shipping information?? So why are these people so worried about being totally "anonymous"? Is it to hide from the NSA, FBI, IRS, and other government agencies? If that's the case, then all the government has to do is run a port scanner on your ISP and look for open ports that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies use...then they can track all transactions from there and identify the user. Am I right or wrong??

I am sure if coins with anonymous transactions ever go mainstream, gov will ban it, using it will be illegal, it should be call crimecoin, blackmarketcoin etc, it will be illegal for sure, but people cannot understand it:)

now they make masternodes start, u have to by 1000drk to get it, i can only imagine what will happen if devs have instamined coins, this could be epic:)

Maybe the price of drk will rise, but finally will be the end of game, in my personal opinion, i do not believe we can get money in one week, because somebody promised something, example darksend with limits, all devs promise they say it will be in future, they try to keep price high and people have faith only in their words:) but if somebody like risks:)

We now should focus on new exchanges, also we should move reddit forum to see how many members we have.

And if there is about making fast money, if drk will start to fall buy doge, most doge members invested from doge into drk so doge price got down, after they will escape from drk doge price will go up fast

Yeah maybe we should move all talks over to http://www.reddit.com/r/BitQuark/

good idea, then we can have separate threads and comments, it would be easier to communicate, also we can see then how many subscribers/members we have:)
