Is anyone having latency problems depositing and withdrawing from C-Cex? I'm talking many hours!

We are doing maintenance on BTQ wallet. Will be finished soon. All deposits should be posted. But if not - make sure you have ticket open if you have issue with BTQ deposit or withdraw.

we've been depositing to ccex for a couple years now and they alway show up.

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

Then someone needs to explain to me why I continually have so much difficulty at C-Cex whereas others do not?

Yeah being on a more reputable exchange would definitely give BTQ a boost. Most of the exchanges I've contacted want like 0.5 BTC or more to add a coin. Idk why exchange are wanting to charge so much just to add a coin, it's crazy.

We charge 5 BTC to get listed. We are very proud to have BTQ for so long time (it's being here from 2014).

@C-Cex, If the reason you keep having trouble with your BTQ wallet is because people are mining directly to their C-Cex BTQ address, then you should set a minimum deposit amount, like 500 or 1000. That would keep the dust down.

Trying to offer suggestions here to make life better for us all.

Coins takes alot of server resources, it takes maintenance alot now, much more than it used to be and also the attack vectors are getting more aggressive, thats why exchanges charge more tha never....

I agree with you, miners don't realise all the dust transactions they are doing and for an exchange it must be an insane about of input transactions, very small ones, consolidating those must take alot of time.  Setting a minimum high enough should prevent miners to mine directly to the exchange or at least reduce the dust...

I have posted the following message to my open C-Cex support ticket.

Quote
Please read this message carefully.

I understand that you may be having problems with the BTQ wallet. You may need to use -rescan to post missing transactions. If people are mining directly to their C-Cex BTQ account, that may be the root cause of your problems. If I may offer a suggestion, set BTQ minimum deposits at 1000 BTQ. That will help prevent too many small transactions.

I'm sure you know this but the BTQ wallet is adversely affected by having too many transactions, even if the wallet balance is 0. AFTER you resolve the problems and post ALL missing transactions, create a brand new wallet.dat and start at the beginning with 0 transactions. At that point, users will probably have to create a new receive address. It's a small price to pay if it resolves the other problems we are having.

I will delete my negative comments at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418700.new#new when my [LARGE NUMBER] BTQ deposit is credited to my balance.

I'm trying to remain positive, here. I really am. Hopefully I have not used any ambiguous words so that Google can translate it accurately to Chinese! Grin

And yes, I am still waiting............

I am beginning to lose hope that my very large BTQ deposit at C-Cex with ever be credited to my balance or returned to my wallet. If it ever is, it will be just in time for the value to fall and all the sell orders I wanted to fill to dry up. Isn't that convenient?

Yeah I talked with support via Skype and they said they had to resync the client. And that your deposit should be available now.

While you had their attention, did you happen to mention the minimum deposit idea?

Yes I did. They told me that they have a script that will consolidate all the dust transactions into one address.

I hope that script runs as a daily cron job, maybe even hourly.

Hi,

I downloaded the wallet but it says "no block source available 198 weeks behind" and it cannot sync. Is there any way to get it to start syncing or to get a boostrap?

Thanks
