Whats up with this coin now?
What's up is there are some big players with serious hardware (don't know who or how many) that have been mining the snot out of this coin for well over 6 months now. Diff is out of sight. My Baikal Mini at 150MH/s is only making about 10 BTQ a day, whereas I used to GPU mine at about 11MH/s and make hundreds of BTQ daily. At today's diff, 11MH/s will only yield about 0.5 BTQ a day.

It's pretty clear to me that someone or some group with a lot of clout has plans to revive this coin, as well they should. What it really needs to take off is one or more reputable exchanges to trade on besides C-Cex, which anything BUT a reputable exchange. They are up to their eyeballs with angry users over lost XVG, finally after months of complaints being offered only 10% of their lost value with a $h!t token called XVGCT, and other coin developers like UNY rebranding to DIG, making public statements that C-Cex is not operating in good faith and pulling out, offering C-Cex holders of UNY 1:1 for DIG on Livecoin. Amidst all this controversy, C-Cex is not accepting new users.

Since I still do have a C-Cex account, I'm buying up what BTQ I can afford. I am also lobbying Livecoin, Poloniex, Cryptopia and others to add BTQ to their exchanges. I would encourage anyone reading this to do the same and reference this forum post with this link

I am offering this as a possible template to lobby other exchanges with...

Hello. I am a holder of Bitquark (BTQ). Myself and other BTQ traders are desperate for a more reliable and trustworthy exchange than C-Cex to trade on and get more coins in circulation. There has been significant renewed interest in this coin over the past several months. Please see this forum post, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=468018.msg31789793#msg31789793

BTQ was not and is not a money grab, pump and dump "excrement" coin. It has been around and steadily developed since Feb 2014, built on a solid foundation hybrid of the BTC financial model with the speed and security of QRK. It's what QRK wanted to be but couldn't. I implore you, please add BTQ to your exchange. Next to some of the "junk" coins I see listed here and elsewhere, this one has real potential.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

We definitely need to get on another exchange. However keep in mind that if any development where POS or MN gets added some of the exchanges will try to ask for a relisting fee etc...

That's crazy about mining.. I remember the good old days 3 years ago when I was solo mining 100s of coins daily with a few CPUs, lol

My message to AllTrade...
Quote
-ZeroLabs > Hello. I, among many, desperately seek alternatives to the C-Cex exchange to trade BitQuark with BTC/XBT. Coin info at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=468018.0 and www.bitquark.info. Someone or some group has been mining the snot out of this coin for many months. BTQ has all the qualities of being the next big winner. We just need multiple exchanges!

How is your project differ from the others?
It's the BTC monetary model on the Quark block chain.
  • Orders of magnitude faster.
  • More secure.
  • Uses far less power to mine.
  • One of the very few alt coins that wasn't a pump and dump.
  • Steadily developed since Feb 2014.
  • Strong following.
  • Low market cap.
  • The list goes on.

All the attributes of a winner. It just needs to trade at more exchanges to take it's place in the winner's circle.

We have official word from AllTrade dev that BTQ is queued for listing.

(edit) May not be as big of an announcement as I originally thought. See below.

After looking more closely at AllTrade, I'm not at all sold on their competence or ability to handle my crypto currencies securely.
It's got all the red flags of a teen in his bedroom, running a third party exchange platform on a shared server somewhere from his laptop.
The domain is registered in his personal name, not a corporation. Poor grammar everywhere. No background credentials for the "Ceo". No company profile. Openly states there is no "Physical base".

Nor do I see any value in being listed at an exchange that openly states they'll list any and every $h!t coin under the sun just for the asking, or $200 in their own $h!t token, PEPS.

As untrustworthy as I believe C-Cex is, incompetence is worse. Until I see evidence of a solid platform with credentialed players at the helm, I will not be using AllTrade.

Got my answer from Cryptopia today.

Hi ZeroFossilFuel,

Thank you for contacting Cryptopia support.

All coin listings on Cryptopia must be applied for via this page:

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Paytopia

Just choose the option that suits your needs the best, and fill in all the required details. Administrators will review the coin/code and begin the listing process as soon as possible. If for any reason the listing is rejected due to incompatibility, or failing the code review, the full listing price will be immediately refunded to your account.

If you have further queries, please write an email with the specifics that can be looked at and answered directly by a member of our Wallet team:

coinwallets@cryptopia.co.nz

I hope this clears things up for you and best of luck with getting your coin listed.

Regards,
Cryptopia Support

So I looked further. If anyone wants to list a coin, they want 5mil of their own $h!t coin DOT (equiv to 13.3 BTC or close to $100,000 USD!).

They are ƒu€k¡ñg in$ane!

Please feel free to send them an email telling them to stop smoking crack!

Hi,

This coin is awesome and we are just happy to include BitQuark to blazepool as well.
Our pool tracks & help mine the most profitable coin under a basket of coins in a range of algorithms in real time and at the end auto-exchange to BTC for your payout
Please feel free to try if you like. Enjoy!! ;-)

I suppose you should work a lot on your website, and why is it superior than BTC and QRK?

I have no intention of trying to educate the terminally ignorant. Figure it out on your own.

You should take a look at Quarkbar, same quark algo only much rarer and uses kimotos gravity well for retargeting and the community is really starting to take off. Also ZERO premine like bitquark so it's also fair but with more advanced features Smiley

So QuarkBar has been re-launched again for the 3rd time?

The price of BitQuark has only risen a little. Now the price seems to be dropping slowly... It is really weak. Let's go to another project.
