Currently about 0.25 BTC

Sounds too cheap. I would think more like 0.4 or something. Ignore that one user who is dumping 100 BTQ at 0.2

no website??? We do have a website >>> http://www.bitquark.info We are currently redesigning it and hope to have it finished up this weekend. We do have a logo

We are also working on a MPOS pool for the website, getting coin accepted at Amazon and other outlets, and a new redesigned client. So I think it's unfair for you to say that we have nothing!

Hey all!

I just set up the first MPOS pool for BitQuark. It's a PPLNS pool with 1% fee and no mandatory donations. A few things aren't working yet due to limitations of the BTQ source code (namely, network hashrate does not appear correct, but I'm working on a fix). Please tell me if there are any special features for BTQ you'd like to see, or if you run into any issues (besides network hashrate not showing up).

Pool: http://coins.inceptioncraft.net/bitquarkcoin/mpos/
Payout system: Pay-Per-Last-N-Shares
Mining Fee: 1.5% (will eventually be lowered to 1%)
Minimum payout amount: 1 BTQ
Transaction fees (manual and automatic): 0.001BTQ

Happy mining!

how about adjusting the algorithm to make it only possible to mine by cpu again? otherwise the coin is not delivering what was promised anymore.

I'll see about adjusting the difficulty on the next client update to see if that helps.

What has difficulty to do with algo?

Quark is not and never will be a CPUmining only algo!

Yeah and I really don't think any coin will every be totally CPU only, as any algo can be made for GPU..it's just a matter of coding.
It's a little harder to break the algo's with ASIC, but I'm sure it can be done...it would just take multiple ASIC chips to accomplish algo's such as quark.
