Is there a slack or discord channel for FUNK?  If so could somebody share the link?

I've been following this trend silently for a while now. I think it will be better for the devs to update the community themselves. Am pretty sure they' are very busy, yet it is also important to let the community know what they   are doing and what next they are planning to do. They dont need to be here always, all they need to do is just to update us, maybe weekly or so.

Here's the latest update:

Congratulations!!!

FUNK has been added to cryptofolio.info this week:
http://cryptofolio.info/welcome/newcoins

Thank you to all who voted and made this a success!

Congratulations!!! But what is Cryptofolio anyway?

I don't mind the lack of updates; dev's are working for free so I'm glad at least someone is picking this up. Don't want to scare them off  Grin

My main hope is that we see a x5-x10 supply reduction so that we can go back to a FUNK/BTC market as well. That should also make the coin interesting for a broader audience again.

I was thinking like you when I bought my Funk.. But I was later thinking that ever since the man posting here have been talking about devs working on the project, we have not heard anything from them. Just to be double sure they are really working and not that someone is just posting here to attract people to buy this coin (It was the updates that caught my attention anyway).

I´d like to think that it is the right time to buy the coin. However, I´d also be glad to regularly hear about the updates from the devs!!!

Just as an FYI, I've supported this project since the beginning in 2014. The beginning was the best time to buy and mine the coin. This was an open source, no pre-mine crypto and anyone could be mining it, and also supporting it for years. Some of you have supported this coin for years.

Back then most people considered it unprofitable to mine this coin, except out of curiosity from time to time. I dedicated myself to supporting this project because I believe in it's cause, not because I'm seeking a quick profit. That's why I've never dumped any coins.

Now that being said, many others have supported this project and also wish to see it succeed. All of them know that this coin has survived for over 3 years, because it's not a flash in the pan.

Good platforms take time to build. I understand some of you want continuous updates, but we are not in that stage yet. We are presently discussing the design and purpose of the website, and planning the technical parameters of the development so it's too early to give constant updates. You would also be so bored with such updates. For example, we decided on a webhost, and we have secured a web developer, front and back-end devs, an internet analyst, a social media marketer, and have had discussions with them. No meddling with any code has occurred and we are in the planning stage.

Once we have a clear plan in place and an agreement to carry out that plan, we will begin the actual development. We have all the pieces in place.

This was to slow, VOISE, and Opus beat them to it.

Searching about VOISE and OPUS they really seems to offers all that FUNK would do.

Both VOISE and OPUS are ETH tokens, and VOISE has just suffered a SWAP(1 VSM = 1000 VOISE)!!!

Both VOISE and OPUS have a much smaller supply than FUNK!!!

It is always good to have competitors, but in this case, how would FUNK be better than VOISE and OPUS?

For a while the only difference is that FUNK is not yet an ETH token, but the plan is to become and ETH token and in this case be more of the same.

Would somebody give a comment on how FUNK plan to compete with VOISE and OPUS?

VOISE market cap is $15M+, FUNK is just $200k. Plenty of room to grow Smiley

This week we will begin building the website. I had never heard of Voise, and it sounds interesting but it's not nearly the same as FUNK.

We now have both a windows cypherfunks Electrum and an Android version http://cryptodepot.org/downloads/

Today I tested the Android Cypherfunks Electrum wallet and it worked fine. The only issue is that the QR code reader is must be a specific one "Bar Code Scanner ZXing".

I am also experiencing some intermittent connection problems, and I am not sure if the problem is in the wallet or with my device.

I haven't used it yet, but could try it out tomorrow.

However, if the coins are swapped for a new ETH-based coin, than I might not make much sense  Smiley

Interesting that in this ALT bear market there was only a small dump of FUNK.

Do you know why being an ETH token is better than being an independent cypto as FUNK is today?
