Amateurs build exchanges is the biggest problem of the crypto world. Imagine how good bitcoin could be with proper exchanges.

The 6 BTC sell wall at 7500 SAT on Bittrex seems to be fake. Apparently it's just some individual trying to suppress the price even lower, buy cheap and then pump it up. I wonder there are still sheeps who don't understand the rules of this dirty game.

I hear the same thing every time, with every coin.

I hear the same thing every time, with every coin. that is probably because it is happening all the time, with (nearly) every coin, including BTC

Instead of "burning coins" whenever a transaction is not met in Halo,
Why not put it in a special reserve fund. That would be spread for things such as promotion material (after being subjected to community vote), or as a bonus for miners (even though blackcoinpool is looking more and more like a scam, it could still be changed), or any other justified reasons.
I first thought about putting it in the foundation, but it would have been too much controversial (as the funds could easily be misused for travelling, for example).
Edit: BTW, are there some news about bringing some API to Halo, that would let it be embed as a way of payment directly on websites ? It has been work-in-progress for many months now

The fiasco of Bter and exco will harm altcoin market, including Blackcoin, I feel sorry about that.

Links for wallet binaries aren't working. 1. it is easier and more secure to compile from github than running the binary. 2. the link to binary on blackcoin.co works fine for me.

I have a Linux machine, but it is very old (9 years, and sometimes resets out of nothing) so compiling something on it would take ages.

That's why I mentioned that the link for binary is also available on http://blackcoin.co/

It would be just about time to add BLK on BTC-e. However, my opinion on that exchange is that it seems like it's been hibernated long time ago. I haven't noticed any visible improvements, the design is always prehistorical. I don't understand how they can make so huge volumes. It's true that exchange hasn't been hacked yet, so maybe its truly secure which would be a very rare feature in crypto where every second exchange gets hacked.
