BlackHalo markets available now for beta download : blackcoin

Quote from: dzimbeck
Hey everyone, now anyone can test the markets. Currently, only the "custom template" is available. The rest are to come very soon. Please let me know if the linux build works on all platforms.

The new website, http://www.blackhalo.info contains new links and supports all platforms.

For those who asked me to test a few days ago sorry i didnt reply, i was just getting this ready.

So... say hello to decentralized markets. Enjoy.

Would anyone here be interested in voting if I added BC to this Poll?? ~ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1000455.msg10860844#msg10860844 ~   Cool  Cool

No need for a fork. What is that anyway?

TPC coin will be an entirely new crypto coin, at this stage I am open to suggestion as to what the coin algorithm will be, it could be a clone of BC code if the community is interested in contributing. Thus far a clone of either MINT or DRK has generated the most interest, I can add BC to the poll as the second PoS coin to be considered, please ask further questions about what is TPC coin on the new ANN thread thanks

I doubt you will find anyone here who thinks that another plain "clone" (regardless of which coin you pick) with nothing new to offer but instead with a shady looking scheme behind it is needed.

"X" coin will be an entirely new crypto coin...  I hear that a lot..  Roll Eyes

Anyway, that is not the place for a discussion about it..

- I cannot see any minting info in the wallet.
In my Faircoin wallet, there is a tab called "Minting". In this tab you can see exactly what amounts are in the wallet and what the maturity of each amount is in days. It also tells me what the minting probability per amount is.
This way I always know when I should have my wallet set to minting and when it's no use to do so.
With Blackcoin I'm always guessing if something is happening and the last few times, it turned out that absolutely nothing was happening.
I think these are big flaws that could easily be helped.
For me these are also big things when it comes to deciding if I want to invest more in Blackcoin.

If you hover over the staking icon, you will be able to see your weight and the network's weight. The probability of generating a block is (your weight/network weight)

In the coin control window, you will be able to see every single unspent inputs in your wallet, and their confirmations

Hello.

What are the differences between Peercoin and BlackCoin?. I know that BlackCoin has a faster block time, and used a different distribution scheme. What else?.

Is there a paper than describes BlackCoin from the technical side?.

Is there a forum for BlackCoin (other than Reddit)?.

Thanks.
