Ok, just saw that and read the full thread. I am exciged about ghis coin and I am sure I am not the only one who missed the IPO. Maybe if the community is OK with that and another guys agree to invest as well so that we get in total at least 10BTC would be nice for the project. I am quite sure demand for cards will be higher than initial quality which will be able to get bought with the money from the IPO, so IMO the more, the better. But anyway, I know I am late so I am asking for a fvour here, so decision is in the hands of dev and community.

this sucks when i invested as IPO  it said this would be a scrypt coin :s  im using a lot of 6950's with 450khs+ but they only do 150 khs on n scrypt  this is not fair =(

any GPU will do half the hashrate when mining scrypt-n coins compared to regular scrypt coins. You are not losing anything here.

My scrypt-n settings for sapphire 7950 and tri x r9 290 if this helps anyone (combined 760 kh/s) tested on vertcoin.

7950 -   thread-concurrency 14336 memclock 1500 gpu-engine 1080 gpu-powertune 8 gpu-fan 50-100  (310 kh/s)

tri x r9 290 - thread-concurrency 20481 memclock 1500 gpu-engine 1050 gpu-powertune 8 gpu-fan 50-100 (450 kh/s)

I'd like to visit one of these pools where they actually acknowledged it is a script-n coin.  I can see it now.... I get set up with one of them and they aren't ready and I miss out.

you may setup and test your vertminer settings at http://gpu.pool.mn (it is currently mining panda scrypt-n coin for testing. When GPU Coin launches the pool will automatically switch to it, so you will not have to change anything)

The settings are different than on classic Scrypt for most cards and you need 8GB of system RAM for best results if you have multiple cards. Here are some .bat settings that work for me:

a little over 350 here with tc 8192, gpu engine 1000 and powertune -20. I'll give these settings a try and report the results.

And everybody else's hashrates are lower as well.  What's the problem?

I have 4 x 6970's that I can't get to mine correctly.  My other machine has two 6970's and it's mining fine at 550 kh/s (275kh/s per card).

Is Scrypt-N dependant on system ram or GPU ram?  The four card machine has 4GB in it and the 2 card machine has 8GB.  Suggestions?

We have a news post showing how to mine Scrypt-N. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, though. Our stratum is set up for Scrypt-N. We were testing it last night with Vertcoin.
