No se cual es la política de bancarrota de Japón pero aquí se intenta por todos los medios mantener la empresa a flote por eso le cambiaron el nombre a concurso de acreedores.

Si nos ponemos en el supuesto de reabrir el exchange a la cotización actual con el deposito de BTCs que tendría la reabierta casa de cambio podría operar con una reserva fraccionaria (como hacen todos los exchanges) aplicando unas limitaciones de retirada (como hacen también todos los exchanges)

Además la marca Mt.Gox tiene un valor por si mismo en el mundo de Bitcoin, aunque hace unos años no valía nada ahora mismo forma parte ya de la historia de la moneda, un posible reflote o auto reflote mejor dicho, gracias a capitalización indirecta que se ha realizado a través de la cotización de Bitcoin crearía un precedente también y un hito en la economía de Bitcoin por la peculiaridad de la solución.

Imaginaros la noticia, Casa de cambio Bitcoin sale de la bancarrota sin hacer nada después de perdida multi millonaria.

Me parece muy interesante la idea la verdad, mucha mas interesante que liquidarla.

se plantea pagar a los usuarios al precio del momento del cierre de la plataforma? me imagino que muchos estarán reclamando no solo ese valor, sino la conversión al precio actual del BTC, o las ganancias que hubieran podido tener con la inversión de esas monedas, yo veo muy complicado darle solución a todos, me imagino que muchos si preferirían que les paguen así sea al precio de ese momento, pero muchos otros no se conformaran con eso, difícil el tema, o de pronto que planteen devolver el valor que tenían en esos momentos sus btc pero compensarlos con algún porcentaje de las utilidades de la plataforma a lo largo del tiempo.

Un grandísimo ejemplo a tomar: yo tengo un exchange así que me "hackean", o lo pierdo todo por "problemas con la maleabilidad" versión 2 (por ejemplo, el fork que podría venir en 50 días) y luego, como bitcoin se va a comer el mundo sí o sí , repito la hazaña de salir a flote "sin hacer nada" y me cubro de gloria.

En su día, los acreedores aceptamos que se nos devolvería lo que se pudiera en yenes a un valor de 483 USD por coin. Realmente no había alternativa, era como decidir entre penalti o gol.

 también tuve problemas con mtgox cuando cerró, la cosa es que no puse denuncia ni en kraken ni por otro lado.

Buenas. Acabo de encontrar esto y registrarme.

Yo fui uno de los más listos y como dos días antes de que MTGOX muriese "compré" 1btc por 600€. En su día me registré en la reclamación (o algo así).

En un momento dado me llegó un correo de mtgox_trustee@noandt.com con lo siguiente:

To all creditors,

On the date of the investigation of claims which took place on February 17, 2016, I approved or disapproved a portion of the claims against to MtGox Co., Ltd. (“MTGOX”) regarding the refund of BTC and money which were filed by the users of MTGOX’s Bitcoin exchange (the “Bankruptcy Claims Related to Exchange”).
