Oh, do you know how to delete the old downloaded blockchain ?
Basically you must delete everything from conf directory except version.conf and wallet.dat

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

seems blockhash of correct blockchain on block 401000 is : 000000000098943936c01744a2de1d410c5bb68f26dd0496dd59659458a6a601

use "getblockhash 401000" command on debug console to check

Check this to see if you're on the correct fork.

Sad It seems that you was on the forked chain but let's see. Your wallet were old ? The coins were old ?

now i get this...also seems that i have no coins in the wallet after re sync oO

When fully synced try to execute 'repairwallet' command in the console window then restart the wallet.
I had the same issue - all coins were gone after re-sync but all went back to normal after repairwallet.

if some dev is willing to revive this coin (probably a clock sync problem) can revive 4 coins in 1 shot:

version
cagecoin
antimatter
probe

https://github.com/staycrypto

probably same code and same no sync bug

I would think the staking is broken since it sure the hell does stake a lot.

I got 1,291,631.72111700 coins at the moment.

There is some error in the staking algorithm. Too keep V alive we need someone to review the code and fix the bug. Probably hard fork will be needed.
It would be great if someone take a look at the code, i would do that but have not enough skill Sad

Well, it's so sad to see V dying  Sad

Reviewed the source code today, maybe I can try to fix it and resurrect the coin (not sure yet though).

It looks like with a current crazy stake rate damage already went too far - moneysupply is around 340 millions, it's definitely too much.
I have a copy of V blockchain from April 14 with 210216 blocks and nice 1.8 million only moneysupply.

So maybe we can manage to start from that point and give a second birth to V.

What do you guys think?
Is it OK for you to restart from April 14 with fixed PoS at 10% (or we can change the rate)?

It can be done via hard fork.
Will work on the code and do some tests.
Not sure about timing but i believe one day we will resurrect Version, just keep your V wallets Smiley
