I'm not sure I've ever seen a bounty that constitutes 5% of the total supply, but if I were an investor, I would definitely be extremely worried if the bounty was such a high fraction, that leads for an extraordinary risk of a market dump once it hits the exchange. The probably is bounty hunters often sell below ICO price, making their investment automatically worthless, for most projects it's actually wiser to buy in after it hits an exchange for this very reason.

Most bounty hunters forget that they worked for the rewards they received. But instead, after you pay they just dump any price.

Most times, i discovered that investors are the ones that lure bounty hunters into selling lower that the ICO price. I have seen situation where those who invested would first sell part of their tokens at very low price, so as to intensionally dump the price. So, for some bounty hunters who care less about the price and who need immediate money, by the time they login to the exchange, they just sell at the latest selling price or at the available buy price.

I agree with your view on difference of situations. Some times holding isn't profitable just like fast selling. It depends on the essence of the ICO.

Poeple hate a lot of bounty dumpers this is becuase it can contribute to the market the value of token price making cheaper value. That is why many investors will got loss of capital invested because there some members will easily dump there token even though the value of token is getting increase in the market.

Most of the bounty hunters are really sell their bounty onceit listed to the market and that is not good for the people who invested money because if the price dump the investor during ICO lost some of money and that is happening now I think. Im not say bounty is bad but I hope the bounty hunters will hold their bounty once they get it for all benefits.

I can't understand how bounty participators can dump tokens price. THey don't have enough amount of assets to influence the price!

They cry because price dicrease that's all ! Grin
The solution is to try to select the bounty hunters (same for airdrop) and select people who really believe in the project, people who will hold it like ico buyers ! An Hard quizz on the project for example, people have to deserve it ! And so bounty holder will not sell it to the first exchange Smiley

yups we have to think positively about it because with the release of tokens held by paid hunters at low prices, of course this is an advantage for those of us who trust the project to have excellent potential in the future, especially if many participants bounty release tokens on the market first of course it will have a very low price so we can buy it far below the ICO price.

I agree that it is pointless to hate or scold bounty hunters for the fact that they immediately sell tokens at a high price. it's their right, their strategy. you just need to take this into account and model your personal strategy.

Selling or holding a card is the decision of every individual. Bounty hunters selling their cards to make money for the time and effort they spend are an acceptable thing. But this does little to affect the project when it comes to dumping. But their token is very limited, if the project is strong enough in terms of goals, technology ... I do not think it will be affected much.

I've seen lot's of people who complain to bounty hunters who dump their tokens after they get them. Why hate them? They have all the rights to sell whenever they want and bounty allocations are only 1%-5% of the total supply of the coin. I don't think it will do much to lower the price of the coin. I mean it's even good for the ICO investors as they will have a chance to buy more tokens with lesser price than the ICO.

Holding the tokens also doesn't mean it will make you rich. Some tokens get abandon by the developers so it would be better to sell at a good price than be left hanging in the end.
By the title itself we can know the reason why people hate bounty dumpers. Dumpers can cause the price of the token to go down but don't always blame the bounty hunters for that because they are not only the ones who dumped tokens. Investors also are capable of dumping tokens and they have a lot of it.

You have a good point the percentage is very small to harm the price so even if 50% dump it will not affect the price, I guess some investors are also dumping the price, or it could be the developers are also dumping their token to raise more funds to their project.

I think it is their right to sell it, they have worked for the project they followed. I think some of them sell it because they need money or they feel the project is bad, there is no hope.

Every bounty hunters are not the dumper, some bounty hunters dump their coin when the coin listed on any exchanges, some hunters hold coins to make a higher profit. But investors blame the bounty hunters, they think bounty hunters are guilty to sell their coins immediately. But I think they are totally wrong. Let them hate, we don't care. Not only hunters but also investors are too guilt because they sell coins at a very cheap rate too.

Because they generally just see the tokens of the projects the work with as something without value, and what the dumping ends up doing is that it actually subtracts even more value to the project.

Many people hurry dumped the tokens when it's not up yet. This will affect the future of the project. Consequently, people do not like dumpingers. But in my opinion, the project should constantly improve the technology, affirm their target market, the impact is negligible.

That's a valid point. People always direct all blames to bounty hunters dumping their tokens whenever price falls but the truth is that many other factors also contribute to the falling prices. A bounty hunter can decide to sell his rewards whenever he wants.

Any action that sell the token to the market contribute to the lower of price not just bounty hunter but also investors, in any case the allocation for bounty is just very small than those of investors. If bounty hunters dump their token together with investors there  will be for sure down of price, and they all blame this to bounty hunters. Much better if project would just lock the free token for a certain time of time or distribute it little by little.

I think dump can come from anywhere, because we never know how developers distribute tokens.
The initial investor with a very large bonus, or even the remaining tokens that are not burned may be the source.
But all situations will return to the market, because if the project is good and has a large volume, maybe a cheap token will be considered an opportunity.
