I've seen lot's of people who complain to bounty hunters who dump their tokens after they get them. Why hate them? They have all the rights to sell whenever they want and bounty allocations are only 1%-5% of the total supply of the coin. I don't think it will do much to lower the price of the coin. I mean it's even good for the ICO investors as they will have a chance to buy more tokens with lesser price than the ICO.

Holding the tokens also doesn't mean it will make you rich. Some tokens get abandon by the developers so it would be better to sell at a good price than be left hanging in the end.

it is because people around these parts have no clear plan for their money. they have thrown it in and expect it to make them millionaires on its own. so when what they have bought crashes down hard they start getting confused and to solve that they start looking for someone to blame.

in reality it is not just bounty hunters who are dumping. it is every experienced investor who knows the price is  about to crash so they are taking an initiative to prevent their losses and they want the most amount of profit out of a bad situation.

Well people who invest will always want to have higher priority then those who got them for free. Ya Bounty hunters do efforts, but they don't put money. I have seen many projects where bounty hunters just dump their tokens as fast they get it. Like getting a load off. If you participated in a bounty then you should respect the project also. Try to use tokens in those projects rather than just cause a panic in the market.

In fact this situation is so bad, that many projects have started locking bounty tokens for a certain time frame and I think that's the right thing to do.

You have the right to dump the token you got anytime, you work for it.
Those people who hate person like you are those who hope for the moon in an instant.
all of us must understand that in every token there are different people who wants to hold and wait and some others who want instant money.

it is their right to do so, there's nothing to complain about...if the project is solid and has a real application, there will be no need to keep these tokens from being sold, adoption will take place anyway..
this is just another paradox of the ICO bubble we re experiencing

It's simple conflict of interest man. Nothing personal in the trading but yeah they have their emotions up so they really investors though trying to sell to their set target price. And especially some of the bounty hunters have big stock so you can't blame them if there's a movement if those dump the loads

Mostly people blame bounty hunters for dip in price because they think they dump their tokens after bounty that's true though but I have realize investors too dump as there are so many ICOs that offer huge bonus whereas investors are able to sell far below ICO price without losing a dime so both bounty hunters and investors are guilty of dumping

Dump is not good at all, If only you are buying them for the low price. I agree that is hunters have right to sell them anytime. But its not good for the project and the price charts

But remember the bounty hunter have less than 5% of total supply coin. So I don't think it could dump the coin as many before. If the project is good enough, the coin will never been dump.

I think the main reason this is happening is because the distribution of tokens happens as soon as a token gets listed on exchanges. However, we cannot really say if the dump is just caused by bounty hunters. If you would look closely, they only have a very small allocation. There are sometimes private investors that do so as well since they are already in the profit zone due to big discounts and bonuses.

It's because of the usual and common reason that the bounty hunters will dump as soon as it hit market because they believe that bounty coins don't have bright futures.

I think It all depends on the project. A really strong start-up won't appoint a huge pool (more than 4% of sales) for the bounty campaign, because they are confident in their project and they don't need extensive advertising from the hunter, besides, this advertising is not always high quality. They conduct a bounty program to promote the project and expand their community.  And when the pool on the bounty is small, then even if all bounty hunters sell their tokens, it won't affect the price. I keep 70% of the tokens that I received during the bounty campaigns, because I participate in the strongest ones and i believe they will be useful in the future.

Haha this debate never stops and the haters are everywhere.

Whether you do good or not, you'll be criticized and as for these bounty hunters if they sell others will ask them why they dumped.

And if they never sold, they will asked why they never sold?

totally agree
I really like your thoughts.
so far many people think that bounty hunters are always the main problem in dumpers.
I think those big investors will do that by playing with the prices. after the price goes down, they will get more coins with more profit, then hold for the long term until the product development is successful.

i also do not understand why so many people are upset about it. usually the bounty hunter gets only 1-2% and somehow i do not believe that these 1-2% tear the price down so. think it is more because the project has no purchase support or maybe even the ico team sell their tokens.

You know why most people hate them? Because they did not have time to sell at this moment. Everything is clear and simple. Only a naive person thinks that everything is different.

basically it is because some people think the market is magic and it goes up out of nowhere and for no reason. they think a useless token that is created out of thin air and does absolutely nothing should also magically rise up out of thin air!

you should ask them why they didn't buy that coin or token if they thought it is such an awesome project. most of these dudes have not even checked what the token they are buying is. they just looked at the website and thought the design of the website is good so the token must be good too.
then when the dump comes they are surprised!

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
