I've just pushed a fix to the myriadteam repository that fixes the issues with chain id's. We were supplying 0 as the chain id for auxpow rpc calls, instead of the intended value (90).

See https://redd.it/3mjp7c and https://github.com/myriadteam/myriadcoin/commit/e0a30bf8f7ee533c004040c85369cf457f12d36f

Note - this is only needed for merge mining pool operators. it will be included in a future release for all.

Thanks...this would explain why I wasn't finding blocks  Undecided

Just confirming...finding blocks now! Cheesy

We've moved MYR over to AUXPoW on our SHA256 ports on www.xpool.ca and is working as expected.

http://www.xpool.ca/blocks/MYR

Cheers!

What a huge improvement merge mining VS direct. We were seeing ~20-30% orphans and now after 1 week we're just under 2%.

Good job

Cheers

Is there any working qubit pool?

I'm running my own p2pool node atm. I posted some instructions on how to set one up with unitus merge mining here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1121974.msg12323394#msg12323394

If you really want I guess I could open up a port on my router and make it public, but you'll get better performance running your own node anyway.

MYR made it into my top 10. I sure hope for everyone's sake that it doesn't turn out to be one of those statistical mistakes.

Background and stats available here: http://asistec-ti.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=149&p=224#p224

I'm considering integrating p2pools in the switcher, so that anyone running it would also be running a p2pool node.

I have a question though, can nodes of different algos run on the same wallet at the same time?

Afaik, no. You'd have to shut wallet down, edit conf file to specify different algo, and then relaunch it. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, but that would also mean having the entire block chain replicated in several directories I guess

I'm pretty sure you can just have different conf files, and specify which conf file to use when you launch/relaunch.

Greetings All,

I've forked Electrum 2.4.4 for Myriadcoin:

https://github.com/cryptapus/electrum-myr

Seems to be working so far. Please let me know if you see any issues.

I also have 2 electrum servers running. If you would like to run an electrum server to support this client, please see:

https://github.com/cryptapus/electrum-server-myr

Please let me know if you are running a server and I'll add it to the client.

Linux and Mac zip files are located here:

https://cryptap.us/myr/electrum

And after some wrangling with wine there is a windows installer as well. Please let me know if there are any issues.

Nice.  Thanks for the positive endorsement.

Merge-mining seems to be working well, I have not seen the sha256 difficulty so high, over 30M right now...
