When i open the version downloaded from the website it only shows three exec files

If you google 'multi algo', you'll see myriad is actually the first hit.

(No need to spam the votes, people. Multi algo is already clearly winning.)

The OP needs correcting:

Under "Specifications" it says:

Block time: 5 minutes per algorithm (60 second average over 5 algos)


But under "How it works" it says:

Each algorithm aims for a block generation time of 2.5 minutes.
Over the five algorithms, a block should be found on average every 30 seconds

Hi i set up the bounty, bcs I have a wallet.dat file with some myr inside from about a year ago, and now i tried to install the new wallet but its a bit complicated, i have to compile it on osx and have no idea how to do it. So if anybody can let me know how to do it or teach me how to install the new wallet ill give them the 100k.

I downloaded it and opened it unfortunately when I open it it says: "error loading block database. Do you want to rebuild it?" I click ok, but then it says the application quit unexpctedly.

I think may be due to having an old version of the blockchain in your data folder. On Mac I think it's same as Linux, in a hidden folder called .myriadcoin in your home folder. I would recommend go to that folder, make a back up of wallet.dat, delete everything except for wallet.dat, then try to open myriadcoind or myriadcoin-qt again and see if you can sync from scratch.

in mac it is in the home directory in, Library/Application Support/Myriadcoin
copy from there wallet.dat to a safe location (for backup)
and rename the directory

Never was dead. Original dev is still around, coin has had updates every few months since its release. Unfortunately, devs have never been interested in marketing. Meanwhile, a high profile premined/instamined coin decided to copy Myriad and claim they were the original, which further pushed Myriad into the shadows. I believe that at the end of the day, the hard working honest alts will come out on top, so I've never worried about the price... Just buy buy buy MYR.
