But we have to say that myrgroestl.stablehash.com is working fine. Nice display of Hashrate, low rejects. If the payouts are fixed, this pool can be great !  I'm also testing the p2pool, and it's nice. Yes the sgminer spamming of "restart work", but it seems that some shares are accepted and I receive some payout .... so, Good job ! Thanks guys for the works. he is sleeping long time  |

Nah, it's just quite early. Sure, it might not be super active now, but at least this coin is not a regular clone like most out there. The 5 algos to choose from is quite interesting. Definitely a big plus for miners. |

Is myrgroestl.stablehash.com going to do payouts? No payout and no comments for 2 days  I'm quite happy with Cryptopool Groestl P2Poll for now. Works like a charm! Thank you, ahmed_bodi! Early.they (myrgroestl.stablehash.com) said "0 share and. 0kh/s is normal . And now they will say "0 coins and 0 payout is normal"  Sorry guys I have been busy and filtering out the exploiters is taking longer than expected. Payouts are coming soon. |

It is not even at cryptsy yet cant be death though I really beleive in this coin as it has something very very unique.. I only wish dev would be bit more active.. I hope he is doing some valueable background work dev is online daily, as you may see by watching the op every bit of news I get he updates the op daily, also as you may have seen in the op as of today I have been officially named something something guy for the coin so yeah ... I got that goin for me, which is nice ... did I mention that the dev has agreed to swap either qubit or groestl with a 100% cpu algo like xpm or dark, it hasn't been decided yet, and when the dev will start work we will most likely hold a poll for the comunity to vote what algo you guys want in and what algo you want out. |

Darkcoin is not CPU only anymore. I think that's a really good idea though. One of the 5 algorithms could be reserved as a CPU-friendly one, and whenever that changes and it's no longer CPU-friendly, then we fork and substitute in another CPU-friendly algorithm. As long as this policy is made clear by the coin, then I think that's fair, and the best way of keeping a long-term balance between the algorithms. |

I think that more important than just changing one algorithm as a temporary measure, is to establish a procedure where algorithms can be changed in the future, so that the balance can be maintained in the long term.
Either with a vote or something similar, but the rules of this procedure should be clearly documented.

Hope Groestl will not be removed as it's the best algo for older GPUs - it ensures mining support for the coin from older hardware owners. Anyway, voting will decide |

Well, only one algo. is GPU resistant in long term - primecoin/datacoin.
All others are just function of algos which are all gpu friendly already.
This coin is really great idea, but...
if we want to make it cpu friendly just add primecoin algo as next ;-)
