is there any option of mining Myriad via Skein or Groestl?
Myriad is keccak mineable only  Nope, it's sha minable, scrypt minable, skein minable, groestl minable, qubit minable. Ah i've misstyped miself... I ment if there is any option to mine Myriad via Skein or Groestl with Nvidia GPU? lol |

Would it be possible (technically speaking) to replace one of the gpu algo with a PoS system like Peercoin?

pos is an overrated fad. i dont think so, i think it's useless if done like mint, but i think it's good if implemented the way peercoin did |

What is the dev waiting for with the fork ? This coin needs a CPU only algo ASAP! If you cant implement RIC or XPM algos create a brand new one - if a GPU miner is released we can fork again and again.
I'd love to see the bock reward halved, lets make this coin scarce! I'd also like to see block time increased to 1 min and one algo removed (why have 3 different GPU algos?!).
MaxCoin has done the same and the community loves it - 300% price increase since the announcement!
Lets get other developers working on this coin, the original dev - i am not a fan of.
EDIT : If the community is against reward halving, perhaps we can implement Heavycoin voting mechanism so miners can chose the block reward themselves. We really should pick up all innovative enhancements of other coins
people like all the current algos. nobody wants to lose their favorite algo for cpu mining. So whats special about this coin, 5 GPU algos ? bah. I hope others feel different. Mining for fun or profit ? You wont see any real profit if it stays like this. We need a reputable developer, this guy 8bitcoder, is a joke. 1 ASIC SHA 1 ASIC SCRYPT 1 GPU 1 CPU HeavyCoin Voting for block reward will you shut the fuck up ? the dev knows what he's doing. you do realise that using a straight cpu only algo will leave 20% of the coin open for botnets don't you ? or do you own one and want to cash in a little. all you've done so far is spam the thread with how many myr you have, then declare the coin dead several times, and bad mouth it and its dev. the voting mechanism sucks and it will be proven in hvc later on. also what the fuck is the deal with scarcity ? this coin is meant to be a coin and be used as one (spent rather than traded)so I'd rather pay 10 or 100 myr for something rather than paying 0.000000423, you think that if you have 1 kg of gold and divide it into a 100 pieces it makes it more or less valuabale. scarcity is an illusion when the total market cap is fixed. it only adds value when/if inflatino comes into play. what's happening to max is what happened the first time, pump to infinite and beyond and then a shitload of bagholders start crying. so if you have something that you think benefits the coin and community please come and relay your opinion but stop bashing and trolling and giving orders. no one will listen to what you have to say if you're an asshole. that.. was.. beautiful.. *sniff* |

can GPU mine Qubit ? i tried sgminer posted on 1st page but it doesnt work. The difficulties shown is 22k. It should be around 100. Can someone lead me to the GPU mining for Qubit ?
what miner did you use ? sph-miner ? if so please post your exact command line and config if you used one. |

I suggest 1st post should have sample command line for each algorithm on each miner software instead of miner going external page search and find out.
There are too many different possibilities with different cards and operating systems for that to be reasonable. The best bet is to ask here like you are doing, or research other threads. I'd help if I knew, but I've never tried qubit. Somebody here I'm sure will offer some assistance. |
