Myriad Skein Pool running stable
US and EU Stratum servers.
SSL secured

Were finding blocks fast and always in the IRC to help miners

Running well on US servers, although SSL on the web page would be nice!

SSL has been installed as requested.

Awesome, thanks!!!

I want to run multiple P2pool instances on one machine. To do this I need separate data folder and multiple copies of blockchain and daemon running.
Suggestion:
Make possible to use multiple RPC ports for getwork/getblocktemplate on different algos.
This way one instance will serve data for different algos.

RieCoin? Yes it is!

Myriadcoin - the first multi-PoW blockchain! (Mine with SHA256 [ASICs], Scrypt [GPU/ASICs], Skein [GPUs], Groestl [GPUs], OR Qubit [CPUs/GPUs]).

its the only choice now. XPM already broken by gpu. Once its out, the remaining 2 gpu algo (exclude script) difficulty are going to skyrocket because those mining the replace algo will have to look for a new home. Now the question is which algo is going to get replace ?

groestl , qubit or skien ? Anyway , I think riecoin algo might get broken by gpu sooner or later.

The good news leads to an increase in popularity and price.

Price not only stabilize the coins but also increases as the complexity!.

Very well to the development of coins to add another algorithm. I for Scrypt-OG.

Look at the statistics.

I'm already the third week of coins and keep them simple extractive future.

I invite everyone to a powerful and reliable pool

incoming: altoutlet.com (confirmed)

Really?! Wow! Smiley Just was browsing the site and comparing prices Cheesy Would be great to have a possibility to pay in MYR there! Wink

should be online by week's end.

MYR not listed yet Sad
Maybe that's because they are looking for MYR price/volume on swisscex? Volume there is only 0.05987343 BTC Sad I.e. at Poloniex it's 11.73141813 BTC...

I'm getting 1200-1300 khash/s CPU mining with i5-3340. Is it normal hashrate for this type of CPU?

That seems way too low to me.

pool:
poolerino

miner:
minerd

command line:
minerd -a myr-gr -o stratum+tcp://myr-groestl.poolerino.com:3349 -u name.name -p pass

sounds good to me

I wrote a Script that displays the Community-Bounties "live". http://just-wegi.de/myriadbounty/ . It updates every minute. As I want to improve the script, I would very much like feddback.

Holy crap, thanks! Looks like you'll be receiving one of those bounties yourself Smiley

Suggestions:

Hyperlink each bounty address to its corresponding block explorer page.
Sort by donation amount or last received donation size or time.
Add total number of donations that comprise each bounty to date (i.e. number of inputs).

Finally, there should be a way to easily pipeline new bounties onto the website. Right now I assume it would be me having to talk to you then you manually update the bounty list. Is there any way to make this process faster?

Thanks for the Suggestions. I try to implement all of them sometime during the next weeks. (Probably on Weekends though, have a lot to do on Weekdays)

Hey, there was a bounty for spotting new algorithms. Don't care about the bounty, but i spotted one.

New Coin AIDEN uses "Scrypt OG" which stands for "Optimized for GPU" according to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558414.0

Power draw is the same as Groestl. Mining is done with sgminer.

Cheers.

Yes, this is a great idea. Instead of having new altcoins pop up with minor improvements, we should have one coin combining all these improvements (especially for the mining part/PoW). The miners decide which algo they will use and thereby they prevent to drive up the hardware price.

What's the problem with gpus?

Cpu mining favors botnets, and you know as well as I do that those guys don't give a damn and will dump till the coin reaches 0.

Embrace gpus, don't be fools! A balanced gpu algo that favors all kinds of gpus and normalizes hash rates between people with different kinds of hardware would be nice, like scrypt-chacha N 14 does (most gpus get between 2 and 5kh/s, and cpus get between 0.25 and 1kh/s ...better for descentralization if everyone gets similar hash rates).

gpus are fine, asics are fine, now how about something for the botnet people this is a coin for everyone correct? and let them dump it gives more liquidity for people wanting to buy

and those botnets ... how did they get that access to those computers? it is because ,for example, the NSA colluded with yahoo CEO to leave a backdoor open for their spying... guess who found that backdoor? hackers who now control lots of computers because of the fascism created NSA obomanation. they deserve to be included in "A COIN FOR EVERYONE"

now lets find a viable CPU algorithm

ps im sure Neuromode will agree with me about botnets dumping the coin is not a valid reason for concern and i no reason to exclude a whole group of miners who can contribute to the stability and security of Myriad.

I really love this coin, but it's not a good storage overnight. Please make the rewards halve or something, cuz I can't stand the dumping of the miners.

The prices relative to coin creation are going to pretty much be the same.

Coin creation rate doesn't matter if the coin is innovative or popular. It also helps when more miners get on the network because it spreads those same number of coins into more hands rather than concentrating the same number of coins into the hands of a few.

If the miners are going to dump NOW, it's going to be more of a constant "trickling" dump rather than massive market moving dumps than drop the coin 100 satoshis in a minute.

We are secure going forward, guys. Innovation will be the victor here and I really wouldn't worry about how many coins are getting created.

Clearly someone has a botnet cluster, comprised of granny computers from around the globe eh? lol
NSA? What the heck you talkin bout?

See how well the other "cpu only" coins did...price kept going down and down.

just because the other cpu coins didnt succeed does that mean we should compare apples and oranges clearly this is a different kind of playing ground.

-------------------
im surprised a bitcoiner here with your status would have no idea about this

http://www.internet-security.ca/internet-security-news-archives-042/yahoo-malware-transformed-personal-computers-into-bitcoin-miners.html

http://hackersnewsbulletin.com/2013/12/nsa-compensated-10-million-get-backdoor-access-extensively-used-rsa-software.html

----------------------------------------------------

allowing cpu only miners allows another means by which to point these miners' hashing power over in our direction as well as make the NSA think twice before forcing a company like yahoo to have backdoors installed for hackers to find and exploit.

not only would we be consistent with "A COIN FOR EVERYONE" but we would also strengthen the security of the network AND allow good people to profit while showing the elite that creating a spy network of backdoors will continue backfire on them 10 times as hard

i know a lot more than you give me credit for and my limited time allows to put what is in my head into words here for all to understand fully.

CPU

That's bullshit. The NSA couldn't give two shits about this, and have nothing to do with the malware serving article you posted. Malicious ads were around years prior to the development of bitcoin and have nothing to do with cryptocurrencies. Please don't bring this up to justify creating creating a coin for bot herders.

This is a stupid argument and I for one hope it fall on deaf ears.
