2018 can be confirmed as a failure year with cryptocurrency market as the rate of cryptos continuously decreased from the beginning of the year to now, and there is no boom in the exchange rate. If it continues like this, the great potential of investors will leave the market because of too many losses, and the patient investors will again make a high profit due to their patients.

Hey guys, I just wanted to share. I've observed and read many articles too regarding this topic and I would like to hear your opinion regarding this. Do you think that the cryptocurrency market is on a downward trend? Would altcoins be following this trend as well? Since Jan 2018, the market of crypto had been moving up and down way too much in a very short period of time. Do you think it is possible for an entity to manipulate the market so big?
definetly its true,thats this year 2018, is not a prosperious year of the cryptocurrency investment,because of many struggle and difficulties thats encounter by the cryptocurrency system,if we enumerate all of this i thinks since from the start of the year all of this can co'z a big factor ,why all in crypto is going dive to dump and one of this biggest factor thats can affect in this situation now is the big player in this cryptocurrency investment,they can turn around everything into there hands. |

Yes, 2018 is a year that's very worrying for the development of cryptocurrency, anything related to cryptocurrency both altcoin and bitcoin, all drowned in a deep ocean. I think that's what happened as if they were trying to keep on pressing bitcoin so that the price kept crashing. |

Yes, the market from month to month always shows a decline. I don't know what happened. Are influenced by demand and supply. I just hope that crypto will return to its original place where all markets are green and we can sell our coins. I am sad to see crypto now. I don't know which party is playing in this.

Well, let me just tell you that this is not at a bad year for cryptocurrency. This is a good year with coins like Lamden, Cardano and Power house. They can be invested in, and you can expect great returns. There are always exceptions in any market but we are talking about the market in general, but one problem that I see is that many people are only looking at the price, that is the only metric they care and to me that is a huge mistake, there have been many positive developments that have not reflected in the price yet but that will in the future, if you are patient enough to hold your coins until that day. |

It may be true that crypto is a game of psychology, because we currently may be in a situation different from what we want. Everyone wants the market to recover, while we are not ready to buy, or at least hold back stronger when the correction occurs. We can see in charts that bitcoin is not moving up and down, it is a very long sideways trend. I also agree that 2018 has not been a very good year for crypto with all those fud circulating around and regulations being put into place left and right.

It is possible to manipulate and do it. There is no other way to explain such strange behavior of the market. In 2018, much has been done for the crypto industry. And the price of bitcoin should be much higher. But we see the opposite.

You were wrong and your mistake was understandable but at the same time this happened because you let your greed to blind yourself, in the middle of December as bitcoin approached the price of 20k there were many people predicting the price will reach 50k or even 100k in the next months but for someone that watched the market carefully it was clear that a crash was coming. |

You were wrong and your mistake was understandable but at the same time this happened because you let your greed to blind yourself, in the middle of December as bitcoin approached the price of 20k there were many people predicting the price will reach 50k or even 100k in the next months but for someone that watched the market carefully it was clear that a crash was coming. People who bought during the parabolic move got wrecked, that would have been the time to sell. Now is the perfect time to but but people are hesitating as fear dominates the market...people need a lot of green for a while to trust the market, but then everything is expensive. It's hard to do but in this game you have to follow logic only and leave your impulses and emotions out of it. |

without a doubt we can not judge properly for the fluctuations. but from my view i suppose it isn't always terrible yr. we have visible many advantageous things approximately cryptocurrency this year. So i assume it is not going that terrible.

i hope that this market is a cyclic one and already in a month or two we will see the fully recovering and new ATH on most of coins charts. We already have a good fundamental news even without different ETF's for that. |

Up to now this year is not prosperous for Crypto. The total market cap is small and it makes the market highly manipulative. This situation
is good for new investors who can enter the market and buy cheap but not good for holders.

Yes, I still believe that we are in a falling market, as far as manipulation issues are concerned, this can not be ruled out either. But 2018 has not yet finished talking about the fact that for crypto conversions it was completely unsuccessful.
