EduCoin launched one week ago, and we are pleased to see that we are growing as planned!

The devs are working to reach out to MOOCs, universities, and students in order to develop EduCoin (EDU) as a useful cryptocurrency for education. This is our priority, and we hope some of you in bitcointalk--especially those of you who are studying--share in that purpose.

While we are pleased that EduCoin was listed on an exchange yesterday for the first time, we know that solid progress means getting listed on recognizable exchanges like Mintpal and Cryptsy.

The fact that EduCoin is at 1 satoshi on an exchange today is not an indication of failure, and comments (or snark) that do not contribute to the discussion will be considered for removal.

We have a lot of work to do, and I look forward to updating this forum on the progress we make.
