The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

people selling at 2 on mintpal, still over 24 million at 3 on coinex tsk tsk must not care about profit to much

Seriously?

Did you not learn ANYTHING from the Mt. Gox collapse?

Well, some of us did and hence don't use exchanges like CoinEx as we actually value our coins thnx!

honest question: what is so bad at coinex? or why is mintpal so much better?

I use both... but I'd really want to know thx

I'll get around to formatting the conversations I've had with them and put a link in my sig, but it's going to take ages and will put paid to any chance of them giving me my coins (at the moment I can hold negative social media over them as 'encouragement').

Essentially, I upgraded the ROM on my phone, forgetting about the 2FA with CoinEx (anyone could lose/corrupt/break their phone).
The only viable method of unlocking my account they proposed was to lock the account for 2 weeks to give the potential 'true' owner of the account a chance to enquire about why the account's locked.
That was 3 months ago and after 30+ messages back and forth (some of which were rather rude) I'm still waiting to get my coins and the price of those coins (MOON) are now about a tenth the price they were in January.

Like I say, if I don't get the MOON or BTC (if they sold), I'll write up a post with all the evidence I can and spread the word far and wide. So far they're just REALLY bad but they're certainly crossing the line into theft now.

Hence, I will not use CoinEx as I've had my warning and I'm heeding it. Should MintPal show signs of this, I'll stop using them too.

EDIT: Gotta cut hair and head for a bath before WAN Show and F1 - FP3 so don't expect a reply to anything for an hour or so.

that's the worry I have with TFA....

OK, it's Friday night

I'm happy & well lubricated Wink

So you can call me a bar-steward if you like without fear of recrimination.

I just shifted a million Zee to Mintpal with a sell order at ....

twelve hundred and fifty satoshi.

Call it a show of confidence & strength Cheesy

Any interest or plans on giving the Zeitcoin's reddit a better image? Seems like its content is mostly FUD, and recently no activity at all...

i agree it needs a little face-lift and some cleaning up.
i'd help out with it if i was handy with that sorta thing, but i'm willing to throw in Zeit for someone willing to spearhead that project.

For one, it's only a small part of my balance

For two, I do have some real-world financial probs to solve

For three, I think it will hit that level before very much minting is lost

nuff said?

A few IRCs are talking about the early trade volume. Some are on the fence I think. They want to see it stable at 3 before jumping in.  Time to put your money where your mouth is Zeitkinder.
