I've had better luck with the blasters. I think it's all the same though.

Just bought a bunch of the blaster boxes again. Only 14 a piece.

Awesome! Good luck!

By the way, how do the blaster boxes (8 packs @ $14) compare to the retail boxes (24 packs @ $45-50) with regard to hit quantity, etc? I may buy a box or two.

Thanks,
Chris

Doesn't every pack literally have all the odds on the back in like super-small writing? I guess I'll use a magnifer app on my phone to check some hobby packs... Cheesy

They do, I've just seen better results from the blaster packs. I've bought both plus the retail boxes and have noticed most good hits come from the blaster packs. Just saying..

Here is an up to date accounting of the ginter x silver and red mini of the cards I have been following and what is still out there.

#83 cryptocurrency   1 silver mini and 3 red mini's

#18 Bullpen Car        1 red mini

#84 marine monument   1 silver mini and 2 red mini's

#204 Samesong stadium   4 red mini's

#222 Solar eclipse   3 red mini's

#259  cyclone bomb    1 red mini

As you can see all the 1/1 silver mini's are gone except the crypto and marine monument.  The red mini's are disappearing faster than I thought, but definately still some out there.  Keep up the hunt!!!!

Havn't seen any black mini's lately except for a few cryptocurrency at 600.00 ungraded and 1100.00 graded.  I'm sure those will look like bargains soon.

Quick update.  I heard some of the mainstream football card collectors have been interested in the #204 samesong football stadium which possibly explains the surge in price lately.  There are four mini reds still out there so I am hoping I can pull one.  The red, silver and black mini's make a great color combination next to each other.  I would enjoy seeing a red mini full set of my 6 favorite cards.  That would really be cool to look at.

I still have the #2 of 2  crypto car park display case that I will be putting up for auction in about a week.  At least one of the cards will be #1/5 red mini in the group, one or two black mini's or maybe a no#.    Roll Eyes

The auction is now at $455.

Come on folks.  Let's be reasonable, two boxes fits in a medium flat-rate box. you'll be surprised how small these are.  Your chances of getting a black crypto card is 10%.  Lets assume you can sell the other cards for $100, you would want to pay something in the $140 range for these boxes.  ($100 + $40 - black mini x card value ($400 * .10)

Yes sir, put a few of them away.  I have mostly made sure I have set aside the black mini crypto because of it's difficulty in obtaining a gem mint 10, it will be the card that soars, except of course the 1/1's.

I guess there is still the regular base glossy 1/1, the wood stock 1/1, and the silver 1/1 to be found

Update, my last and final A&G display box # 2/2 Crypto Car Park will consist of the black mini crypto, the 1/1 red mini car and the black mini samesong stadium.  All 5 of the red mini's are accounted for so this is the last one.   There are no ungraded black mini crypto's available nor any samesong black mini's.  The last black mini crypto just sold for 500.00.  The last red mini car sold in the 100.00 + range but, this is the #1 red mini.

Have your wallets ready LOL  Smiley

Whoever landed the 2 lot of the allen ginter x boxes has a good chance of pulling a red or even silver crypto as there are so few boxes left out there.  These boxes will be 500.00 when and if they come up for sale.

Wow! Things are a changing.  Those are $700 sets. Folks are bullish for sure.  Makes sense since there are 4 or 5 hot cards. Cryptocurrency,  bullpen,  monument,  eclipse, etc

They're numbered SETS  1 thru 49 ..... the Cryptocurrency card alone will do as well as the brooklybacks, blk. minis, or any other LIMITED to 50 Cryptocurrency cards. IMO  Especially as time marches on. You saw what happened with the JUMBOS, so yeah.  Smiley

I'm just wondering...what do you guys think a REDneck mini card would go for in today's market ungraded? $100, $200, $500 ? Graded? A year from now? (I know it depends on the grade, huge factor)

I hope that someone in here won the X box's. Cheesy Congrats if it is so. Smiley

Compared to the veterans here I have a small collection but I do have some nice Ginter X minis. It is a pain but I think I will go ahead and send them to PSA for grading the consensus seems to be if I ever decide to auction on eBay that certification could double the value. Any tips on sending to PSA or just follow the instructions on their site?

If you send more than 100 cards it's much cheaper but takes longer to get cards back.

Look into a platinum plan. Get 15 cards graded with 15 days return time. More like 6 weeks

That is a keeper, put that in a safe and lock it away.  Wait until the common mini's break the 100.00 mark.  That's what I would do or invest in a brinks truck Smiley
