Well, I only take the inclusion of luke's post of lies as siding with luke's lies.
With that, I would request that eleuthria remove me from his suggestions.
I have no wish to be suggested as an option by a pool that would allow luke's post of lies without my response.
Kano CKPool is no longer recommended because it is run by a fucking baby. That better? Much better Sorry to see the pool close. So how much did you get as donations as NMC? Interested cuz NMC minimum was not lowered.
NMC was dropped to 0.001 because of how many people were bitching about their trapped NMC worth *less than a penny*. It was also updated so all automatic payout triggers paid out the entire balance down to 0.00000001 a few hours after the pool closed for the same reason. Stop it! You guys are making me nostalgic for the good old days of merged-mining controversy and pool dev/op quarreling.

NMC ? Im going to have to check as I dont think I ever withdrew. End of era this is, never a legendary tag more appropriate The idea of a separate network for insignificant transactions that then get settled on the main chain as a bulk settlement rather than 10,000 transactions cluttering up the entire network. Seems necessary and 'side chains' not a distraction but required, I wonder how/if things will progress or fall apart. Creative destruction is a natural thing not a one off

Probably a dumb question, but I've been out of the loop for a while and tried searching the forums to no avail: Is there any way to withdraw my Namecoin balance? I don't see any Namecoin options in settings. Thanks!

Turn on "Show Namecoin Summary" in the settings. Then enter a namecoin address and set the automatic withdrawal to less than your balance.

Should be somewhat fixed now. The settings page was reworked a bit with the closure (and edited a few times since) to try and make it idiot-proof. The NMC wallet area was removed for accounts which didn't have NMC displayed. Looks like somewhere I also ended up hiding the ability to make it show up again. It's now under settings "Show Namecoins".

I wonder if eleuthria is sleeping better these days, lol. I sure miss the good ol' days when I found 4 blocks on BTCguild in just a few weeks with my Bitfury, ASICMiner and BFL gear. Haven't found a block since anywhere.

You bet. Being able to sleep and leave the house without fear of a phone alarm going off because a server is under attack is a pretty nice feeling!

Giving the post a little bump since I've noticed when the thread gets a new post there's a spike in the number of users that finish closing out their accounts. 45 days since the annoucement, 28 days since the pool shut off. A little over 2 months left before the servers are shut down and removed from their racks at the datacenter.

Stop using Windows XP. If you insist on continuing to use an obsolete operating system, you'll have to use Firefox which has it's own SSL implementation that can handle ECDSA certificates.
