we'll see, I still have serious doubts on the scrypt part.

What I find very compelling is the power usage, since price is very close to a brand new R9 280x. I won't mind selling the GPU and have a greedseed for just dropping 2/3 of the power bill
Another factor are the new versions of cgminer and other miners for these puppies - don't forget that cgminer (most use this one) has dropped GPUs a while back, so we're missing all the eventual code optimizations and better performance of these newer refreshed versions on GPU (when was the last time you saw an updated CL file for cgminer?

We'll see, maybe it won't change the game like it deed for sha.
