The two are important but depend solely on you if the pair for all your coin should be dollar or btc and I think btc is still cool to paired with in this time of bottom stage which can add more value to it soon and dollar was cool if it was December period as all coin both btc and alts was dipping then which makes dollar more ok than btc paired, and will give more chance to acquire more btc and alts.

I believe that those of us involved in the field of cryptocurrencies should feel compelled to act in accordance with our ideals and therefore, we should prioritize the accumulation of bitcoins before the accumulation of dollars.
We must always keep in mind that one of the reasons that led to the emergence of cryptocurrencies is the search for alternatives to fiat money, therefore there would be no reason for us to exchange our valuable cryptos for centralized money.
Would be good to have crypto currencies exchanged to crypto currencies but what about those who live in countries that are yet to accept bitcoin or other crypto currencies? Those who live and earn from concerned countries, need to exchange into their local fiat's to utilyze the earnings made. There should be days when crypto earned is exchanged to crypto. Eagerly expecting this to happen. |

The dollar is a stable money, Bitcoin or any other coin based on blockchain technology now have a strong volatility, so it is more profitable to change dollars.

I think this is not good time to move your altcoins to btc or usd, altcoin prices are down and if we convert to btc or eth it will be a huge loss for the investment, what you can do is keep your altcoins until next bull run and take the profit.

Well for now service providers that are accepting crypto are still very few and stacking bitcoin and altcoins is really not needed because stacking it without exchanging for Fiat is wasting of time and doing bounty will be needless

If you are profitable with your altcoin, then you should sell your altcoin to USD. It's a safe choice and you will not lose it if the BTC falls, but if you are a risk taker and believe in BTC then you can sell your Altcoin to BTC.

Although its better to sell or exchange your altcoins for BTC or ETH but sometimes it depends of the token you are dealing with. There are some tokens which goes as higher as 400% on exchanges now which BTC cant do for now so HODLing that coin will be better than exchaging it into BTC.

If you exchange it to BTC, it is better. Doing it now may even be a good idea. Once the bull run commences, it will push up the value of what you have with a higher value of BTC.

He was talking about the best choice to exchange our altcoin to the best pair and the answer should be the dollar. OP doesn't even mention ethereum in the thread which means it should be removed from this thread. Stable coin or dollar offers the stable value that can't be impacted by the volatility of the cryptocurrency itself. |

If this was the choice i should make, the bluntly i will choose bitcoin over dollar, i think bitcoin will offer more profit than dollar could offer.

It's depend on the situation and the investment strategy, if the falling really fluctuating and it impacts all crypto then it's better to exchanges crypto with Fiat, but if the Bitcoin is on the uptrend situation then btc is better because it can double your profit, but it got more risk

This question is what I questioned to myself before I earn in cryptocurrency. I asked myself why does the people hold more tokens than btc or ethereum. Now, I had more tokens on my wallet, I understand why we hold them all. Because this new altcoins will give us more money. If we buy it at low price and hold it till double times, we will become profitable.

Both are better but i prefer convert to fiat / usd in this current market condition. Because bitcoin is so stagnant and sometimes it slightly down I also prioritize bitcoin accumulation, but specific times need specific changes. Currently a good opportunity to accumulate, I do not care much about the reason appear, my greatest interest is still the profit it brings. |

Do you think bitcoin will go down ? Then putting your money into dollars is the better idea. Do you think bitcoin will go up ? Then putting your money into bitcoin is a better idea. It is up to you to decide if putting your money into dollar or bitcoin is a better idea depending on what you believe bitcoin will do. I put my money into bitcoin because I believe after all these months of stagnant prices there will be a time when bitcoin goes up really high and make me money. Recently it dropped a bit more meaning I think bitcoin is ready to skyrocket soon. If that happens than I will be in good hands and have more money, if I am wrong and the price drops even further than I will be screwed and my money will shrink even further than it already did. It is a bet on the price of bitcoin, you bet whichever side you think will win. |
