Thanks the dev for the great launch.
Enjoyed it. Much launches are such a fail. Only poor luck for solo miners.

Just so everybody is aware, blocks are being found at the pools - the crons just aren't keeping up. To lower network load, some of the pools have disabled block updates temporarily. There was over 1 Gh/s on the OctoCoin network within minutes and we were experiencing DDoS attacks on one of our main seeds/nodes.

There have been nearly 1000 blocks found at FusionHash and it's a prop pool so everybody in there will receive their shares. These big launches often stumble out of the gates but the biggest losers here are likely the people that tried to solo-mine - the pools are finding all of the blocks right now.

Will continue to post updates throughout the day - it appears everything is stabilizing. We have 7 more days of the 888 OctoCoin blocks.

Look at the luck on the block they did find...

Mine is too, but that's no real problem unless you have a very slow rig.

Sorry for the restarts of p2pool, we had trouble of syncing p2pool nodes but it all good now ! Smiley Happy mining ! Smiley

And remember

USAGE:

Code:
cgminer.exe  --queue 0 --scan-time 5 -o freebtc.eu:8888 -u your_wallet_address -p x

You can generate your mining script here : http://taken.pl/generator.html just remember to change pool address Smiley

Ok, but there is no problem with that.
You solve shares at a higher diff so you get a larger piece of the pie too.

WTB!!! 888 = 0.001 BTC!!! Shocked

LOL now the scammer wants to pretend to buy his own scam coins... oh dear...

what an obvious scam it all turns into. Sad

oh well make another coin guys try to scam a little less next time.

i triple dog dare you to make your next post in this thread without using the word "scam". try it. i bet you can't.

cryptohunter, you are officially now labled "THE WORST" in this thread, and i'll remember to take all your future posts in other threads with a massive grain of salt, more akin to a horse's saltlick.

but then again, you are scaring away honest miners, which means that i'm now mining a larger piece of the pie, so part of me wants to thank you and congratulate you.

oh what a devious plan that would be, so enter a thread screaming that the sky is falling, only to get bigger mining profits for yourself.

because i HIGHLY doubt that anyone spending so much time in a thread like this, (who is showing a level of caring about this coin which is higher than anyone else i've seen post here...)WOULDN'T be mining the coin. i mean they'd have to be a sociopath otherwise...
