i agree... unlike btc-e, the chat there is actually nice. the volume isn't the greatest but i'd put it on par with cryptorush. the site def runs better than cryptorush. they did have an issue with stolen btc of course but nothing on the level of cryptorush's issues as of late. maybe everyone will send the email and we can get listed. mintpal is going to be awhile unless people donate bitcoin.... just over 5000 votes so far so at the current rate of voting it's gonna be a few.

Updated some stuff on the pool today. Lots of new commits in the development branch of PHP-MPOS. For a while today, emails were not getting sent due to mis-configuration on my part. If you're missing a password reset email, please try again, it should be fine now.

Please let me know if you encounter any errors or problems with the pool. There may be a few bugs, since we're running off the development branch to test drive all the newest features, I do my best to stay on top of things and keep an eye out for new commits.

How did you profit so much from 888? I bought 20k for 1300 sat and sold them at 600 before their value decreased even more. Something's up with your stats.

Needless to say, after that loss and seeing the crash further I'm done with OctoCoin.

i  mining since 3 months (1300 k hashes)  i mined  reddcoin dogecoin etc but i sell it when the price uped for buy octocoin  i think 888 have a best futur than this coins.  now i have 80 k octocoins  and i have euros for buy octocoins. i want 500 k . i keep all 6 months. this coin will go very up. it's the moment to buy.in one month i think the price will be very different and so later to buy at this price.

Out of the last promises the devs made they kept ZERO so far. Not even a single Screenshot of the work they promised.

Also they gave ZERO fucks about the Transaction Problems many users had. Not even a patch for the Wallet to mitigate the problems.

So accept you got fucked by the devs and move on.

They even manipulated the Block explorer to not show the Address where the Premine and the first 1000 !!! instamined Blocks went.
If someone is interested i have my own ABE Blockexplorer which shows the way these coins went.

Only good thing is there was never enough volume to dump all these coins so at least the fking devs did not get very rich with this.

Yes, there was no screenshot at all, but i think you should give them some time.
If they post an update the next days, we will know more, but if they don't... maybe you are right...
But it doesn't make sense to me. This coin got a good ground to start something on.
There is a community (not the biggest, but it's ok) + it's a good coin maybe also for the chinese (cause of 8 . ) +  
pools are working good and MYSELF never had any problems with the wallet.
Coins WITHOUT any businessplan made it big before.

Ok, you're right, if the devs won't show us some teasers etc. soon, more and more here will be disappointed and leave the boat... 100%.

Strangely i agree with you that this coin HAD potential. There where about 20 people active in IRC voting every hour on cryptorush and spreading the word to other miners. Some of them are still there but most left.

Its even no problem to have only semi active devs and to wait some time until they deliver what they promised. Everybody would be fine with that.

But the promised things with a timeline and never showed up again. That effectively lying in my face which i dont like at all!

ummm the dev just posted the other day. they said the middle of april. until then i'm not flipping my shit. some of you people have no patience. i could see moving on to mining another coin so you can pull in some $ but to just write the coin off as dead is retarded. if octo ends up delivering on those promises don't be the one on here sucking their dicks after this.

i see why there is some worry but it is still too early to jump the gun i think. just my opinion.

i'll see if i can find the post but it was when he was talking about the possible crowd funding application for oct, re-doing the website so that it informed users of how crypto worked and showing timeline goals for apps for octo... it was an earlier dev post. the easiest way to find it is to pull up his username and go back to those first posts from him....but he stated that the website updates and timeline goals for apps would be around the middle of April if i remember correctly. now after the issue with all the pools closing down and he showed up for that after fusion hash contacted him he promised an update for the next day and then renigged and gave a promise for a later udpate.

Just saw on mintpal's twitter that starting next week they're only going to take 1 new coin a week from voting. Will make competition even tougher to get there.

true that..... but i don't see any reason why they wouldn't.... it doesn't make sense to do so... now if they had dumped and made a lot of money and wanted to abandon the coin, i could see that. the most volume has been at cryptorush, even if a large part of that volume was devs cashing out before running, they couldn't withdraw any bitcoin lol.....

so i'm guessing that they are having issues and/or taking their time with the promises. i also think that before April is over we will see something significant from the devs, even if it's just the updated website with the services and timelines for release they were talking about.
