With very low boiling points compared to water (ie. 49°C vs.100°C in water), the liquids boil on the surface of heat generating components and the evaporative process passively takes care of the heat transfers. Compared to submersion oil cooling, fluids are clean, environmentally friendly and non-flammable. Heatsinks, pumps and jets are not required to keep hardware cool. Circulation happens passively by the natural cycle of evaporation and condensation without spending any extra energy. It is this elegant simplicity that eliminates conventional cooling hardware and results in better cooling efficiency.
