Then there's the case everything looked great, team, whitepaper, project looks like advancing, until something happens and everything turns bad, from no longer delivering to lies about the next steps.

I do buy shitcoins. But they form just a little part of my crypto portfolio. The only reason I do this is that shitcoins with their low prices can be pumped  someday very heavily and you can profit a lot just buy holding them and waiting for such a situation. There is no option for "get screwed by the exchange". I had a lot of nano (back when it was not named nano) and had a lot of it on bitgrail and it was going strong, I got in at around 14 dollars per coin and it went all the way upto 34 dollars or something like that which means I made more than double of my initial investment but than bitgrail decided to ban people from withdrawing their money without providing information of themselves which I never do and hate doing so I will never opt for that however they decided they will keep your money if you do not do what they ask you to do. I barely got 70% of my money back and that was after all of this was done which made it much lower for the coin and not its friction of what it used to be.

1. Airdrops: Once upon a time I was crazy about airdrops, thinking they'll be the next Hydro or Ontology whose airdrops made a lot of sense in terms of their worth. Joining airdrops is a very fast way to have many coins that are not worth your time, since you can get those coins for basically nothing then as you may guess those coins have no value at all unless someone else decides that they do but if the developers behind those coins do not really make any kind of effort to try to make their project a success then most coins that you get from airdrops are going to be useless.

I believe that we are to blame for the fact that we have bad unpromising coins. I think this is from the fact that many do not understand where to invest. It's either bad coin research or just bad luck. And this is not uncommon.

It is very difficult to talk about shit coins, because we cannot be sure that this is the end. Even a strong price drop does not mean anything. Krypto is a speculation market. Investors do not pay attention to the technological part of the project. It is likely that after some time, some shit coins will be at the top of the list ...

Most of the $hitcoins I have came from bounty campaigns. I'm looking now for bounties that give bounty in eth or btc.
There's a benefit of giving eth or btc for bounties. It protects the project token from being dumped. It also gives immediate liquidity to the bounty hunters.
It's a win-win and I hope projects doing ICO follow the same path.

I honestly don't buy shitcoin now. I learned my lessons in the past. I ended up crying over a huge loss. I'd rather go with the top coins in the CMC than bet on shitcoins. It's very, very risky. Yes not all wants to buy shitcoins because others dont have the cash . what they do is that they only join on some airdrop and bounties to be able to get their hands on those babies  . all of us only wants to earn a profit and thats why we dont really care if the coins that we will buy or obtain is a shitcoin or not . some dont want shitcoin because they think that these type of coins arent going to pump but they didnt know that most shitcoins are pump and dump in which the value can jump 5 or more times vs the legit coins.

I think Doge and Ripple are not shitcoin. They have of course value. Shitcoin in my opinion is a coin where the coin is worthless and there is no development of course. That's what I think shitcoin can say. But for Ripple and Doge certainly has the value and potential to grow even higher.

Mostly shit coins coming from bounties and I'm not to thinking that Doge and Ripple will turn into shit coins. Maybe we could say that Doge never looks progressive this days but still belong into the potential coins. And I do believe that Doge team will take a move to make help for its recovery..

I think pump and dump scheme can trapping peoples to buying the coins.
Earlier peoples will have a profit by selling it to the newer peoples who want to buy the coins.
But the newest peoples who bought the coin, will have to holding it unless they want to sell it with loss because there is no buyer after pump and dump.

Well I think bitcoin or Altcoin trading is totally independent of who have bought them earlier and who are coming now. Yes there is a difference of price rates. Surely who have got coins in the earlier stages of crypto development, they have edge over others. But still, market is very opportunist. You can buy anything at any time. Even now, prices of Altcoin are bottom line, so buy now and sell them in their crest time.

You can only make 500% or 1000% profits by investing in shitcoins. Many people buy it because they want to make that profits. It is a gamble if you are lucky then you can get huge profits. That has happened to me twice but I’m never going to make such a mistake again. The first time was due to I got a wrong information, and was convinced to buy a coin that ended up being useless at last. Then as for the second time, it was as a result of pump and dump.
