It's better to wait till December as presently the cryptocurrency market looks very stable and immune because of all good news trending on the market such as Bakkt and Fidelity exchange bringing more money from institutional investors and the collapse of the tether. Hopefully we will going to see the bull run by year's and it's time to buy more and hold for long time to take maximum profit.

I am looking forward on holding my altcoins until next year due to the negative market situation at this moment. I am no longer expecting a miracle to happen particularly with the recovery of the majority of the cryptos this year since there are only few months remaining and it won't be an enough time increase to take place. It's now a coin to coin basis there are coins that are up for development or on work in progress and I want to keep those coins even though the price is much lower than their ICO price, but if one of the coins I'm holding has no update in their channels about the progress of their platform it's time to sell those coins.

Hey, well I mostly invested in projects that I believe in long term. Those projects have a great team and a product that might easily get mass adopted. I only hold ethereum, ripple, civic, crypterium and monero and I think the best thing to do right now is to hodl my coins rather than trading them for a loss. Ethereum is master of all smart contracts and need no introduction and I think it will rise again. crypterium is a project which is aiming to use crypto in place of fiat for day to day transactions and I see a lot of potential in the project. Monero, civic and ripple have strong teams and also have potential to grow in the future which makes holding them right now really profitable.

Like everyone else, my portfolio is in the red because of investing in Altcoins. I continue to study the work of teams in projects. If they go up to their goal, I will leave these coins for a long time. If I see that the team is idle, I try to sell such coins as close as possible to the price at which I bought these coins.

The portfolio today consists of a thin wallet which fits easily something that used to only fit in a suitcase. But do not despair - the main income is the experience that everyone has received in this fall and the opportunity to continue to trade on.

Usually if i got an altcoin the first time i do is hold up around 1 month and see what will happen on that token.
If it grow so good i will hold but when it not grow or down i sell it.

Your point is pretty good. As a trader, I think everyone should come into the trade to learn it in this bear market. People are losing their money by holding for the bear market. If everyone starts trade and hodl both then I think the crypto trading volume will be huge and the market can stable too. Only holders are not helpful for the crypto community. In this market, it is hard to guess when the bullish trend comes. Therefore, I see no reason to keep Altcoins in the long term, and look after the Deposit decrease. At the moment, it is better to trade, and when the trend changes, then you will adapt to the situation.

I have already sold off some of my altcoins and converted them to Bitcoin in preparation for the bull run which comes after this bear period. I believe the bull run will start with BTC as usual.

A lot of coins will not come back, but I believe many altcoins will reach new ATH in the coming years. There are many new projects that are developing and signing partnerships with real world companies. I focus on 4 or 5 and try to increase my holding when I find a chance.
