Hi
I`m new to mining with TRM and I want to try it.
How do I setup TRM with these options I have in phoenix miner?
I`m using 8pcs rx580 8GB cards with hynix memory and i`m getting 32mhs in phoenixminer with this setup:
-lidag 2 -tt 55 -fanmin 40 -fanmax 75 -rxboost 1 -cclock 1200 -mclock 2250 -cvddc 840 -mvddc 860 -r 1
Thank you for help!

is it safe to assume that trm developers take miners as bunch of dumb money makers by introducing mode-a, mode-b, mode-c, ..... mode-z and then give YouTube bloggers special code to mine for free in exchange for shills considering the fact that they charge much higher than the rest of mining apps.
to be more specific, this part always pisses me off:
Ethash on Polaris GPUs 0.75% Ethash on all other GPUs 1.0%
I mean, WTF!!
not to mention, they copied their codes from other developers who were naive to share their source then these guys closed source their own!!

You'd need to set the overclocking settings using an 3rd party app like overdriventool 0.2.9. You can setup a bat file to do all the OC and run TRM then.

Can someone help me with this. I still mine on 4Gb GPUs and when I set --eth_epoch=374 to test I get about 10 MH/s When I remove that and start to mine I get only 1.3 MH/s. Why is that?
did you enable compute mode?

THE POST HAS BEEN DELETED-- Likely by a mod. Now, a perfectly normal post sits above the first complaint. The mods are aware that multiple HASHUP malware posts are being made daily in the popular mining threads. Just report the post if you see it. There is a "report to moderator" link in the bottom of every post. The mods will delete it. Please don't quote a malware post. Some dummy may try it anyway. --scryptr Above post is probably a scam, the numbers are waaay off. SO, BEWARE!
+1 The account was a guy with last post in 2017. Probably a hacked account P.S. PLEASE REPORT FALSE, ABUSIVE, LIBELOUS, BELIGERENT POSTS-- Just use the "report to moderator" link that appears in every post. Malware is really bad, but "friends of the malware hacking gang" that post lies and libel should also be reported. --scryptr P.P.S. The two posts that I quoted were likely correct when made, but they unfortunately point to a good post now, AFTER the malware post was deleted. --scryptr

Hi all, I just started using teamredminer with my Radeon VII as someone said it'll work better than Phoenixminer.
Mining with basic settings like wallet and pool info, I get this error when trying to run it.

-d, --devices=DEVLIST Sets gpu devices to use from detected list. DEVLIST should be a comma- separated list of device indices, e.g. -d 0,1,2,4. If not specified, all devices on the platform(s) will be used. NOTE: by default the devices are ordered by pcie bus ordering. Use --list_devices to show indices. try like this, all commands in file USAGE.txt 1. TRM ... --device=0,1,2,3 2. TRM ... --device=4,5

Could I get some help please?
I have a 4x Radeon VII rig that also has 1 RTX 3070. When I try to run TRM it crashes to the desktop with no explanation as to why. I do have logging enabled but it crashes before a log file is created. I am thinking it's because TRM wont mine with the 3070 installed. I've searched all over but I can't find out how to turn off the 3070 in the start_eth.bat file. I have run TRM on my other machines and it runs fine as long as I do the extra trd step and sometimes I need to add the enable compute variable to the command line. I'm currently running Phoenix miner and I'd like to get the extra hashrate from TRM since this is my main rig with the most hash power. Please help?

Your GPUs are identified by numbers according to their PCI slot, e.g for you: 0,1,2,3,4. You need to find which one is your RTX so that you can remove the corresponding number in your launch file.
