hi, could anyone tell me how API should work? using 0.4.4 and eventho I did set --api-listen 0.0.0.0:4028 (did tried interface bounded IP, but no change) it still listen only on localhost (and message is shown in miner that API is running on 127.0.0.1:4028). anyone have an idea? Thanks

A little unexpected, seems the missing '=' after api-listen means the arg isn't picked up (and we don't complain about bad args either). Use "--api-listen =0.0.0.0:4028" and it should work.

Anyone please to sugest settings for rx 570/80 ver0.4.4,i can not maintain miner stable for more than 1hour. Somethimes crashing almost inmediately. Tried 8+7(8GB cards micron memory CC 1200,MC 2190,865mV for both) but not worked for me. Thanks in advance!

Damn. Your memory clock is 2190 at 865mv and it crashes immediately. Maybe try and lower your memory clock I run mine at 1975

Same settings i use for SRB miner without crashes, but i would like to find the right settings for this miner and 0.4.4 because of lower electricity consumption.

It doesn't matter what it does or doesn't using other miners. Different miners and different versions will use your GPUs differently. Tod or Kerney will be able to confirm but it could very well be that the later version hits your memory harder than the previous one. Just drop your clocks. I know it's hard to stomach but you're a big boy, give it a try you'll see!

So have you tried lower memory clock??? Or 7+7 TRM setting?? Just because it work before on other miners or other versions don't assume your settings are right. All my rx570/580 run core of around 1180 and mem of between 1850-1975 and TRM of 6+6 or 7+7 and I get between 950-1000hs Edit. You also did ask for suggestions

If not i will play with the memory clocks P.S.: I have 0 memory errors with 2190,new Micron memory is great for overclocking,if thats important of corse

I have some rx570 that the hash rate maxes out at 1930 mem but it will run up to 2050 with no errors but also no extra hashrate

I have kind of a weird behavior with my 0.4.3 version. I've noticed that after a few hours mining the hashrate declines then stabilizes.
On CN-R after 30 mn I have my peak HR @3760H/s (4 RX574), then after 4 hours I get 3715H/s, then 3680 H/s.
Has anybody else the same behaviour from the miner ?

Usually it's one of two things: one or more crashed threads (but only one per gpu so each gpu still hashes with ok-ish speed) or threads that no longer run in a staggered/interleaved way. You can tell which case it is by shutting down - if the miner shuts down clean with no warning log or extra delay, there were no crashed threads. The former case (crashed threads) needs clock tweaking, something isn't 100% stable. The latter case (no crashed threads) was addressed in v0.4.4 by adding the interleave adjustment logic. It has helped in the vast majority of cases that I've followed up on, but sometimes it can over-adjust instead. Assuming it's the latter case for you, have you checked if v0.4.4 works better? Or have you tried v0.4.4 and you have some other issue forcing you back to 0.4.3?

You also did ask for suggestions I use one RX580 8Gb with 14+14 config for CNR. MC 2250 at 825mV. Other 12+12 MC 2235 at 837mV. I know that I can lower memory clocks without losing speed, but I need it for other purposes. When I use cryptonight stripes, I use for 1 card MC 1975 at 800mV, 2nd - 1860 at 825mV. Both cards at Hynix MJR.

I would like to ask you to make the miner reboot function by default, in case one of the cards fails. Also, I want the logfile to be recorded each time in a separate file.

All of the above can and should be solved in .bat/.sh files. The miner codebase is cross platform, so "reboot" isn't really well defined. For example, do you want to run a simple "sudo reboot" under linux, or do you want to use sysfs mechanisms? What we should do is include much better examples that does exactly what you're asking for though. It's fully doable to setup a logfile name on both windows and linux. Will try to get that included in the next release!

Honestly TRM has been so stable there no reason, lol!

Was just wondering... since there's a few knowledgeable people in here... do you reckon we will get merge-mining capabilities within CN/r any time soon? So far I've only seen merge-mining in CN-variants like TRTL, Litev7, Haven/Heavy. Is randomhash a limiting factor? Would be pretty sweet to be able to merge-mine a coin or two with XMR. Like in the good ol'days.

It would be good if TeamRedMiner will work on R9 290 and R9 280 cards. They have almost the same hashing power as RX470/480 with bigger consumption. Monero mining is not so warming as other algos, so during summer time the owners of such cards will be greatful for such a good Monero miner as TeamRed.

They have less hashing power, essp. 280 card. And at least twice power consumption... Mining on these cards can be profitable only with free electricity.
