hi,trying to mine vertcoin but it just close,on every rig....win 10,19.5.1 drivers,rx 470,rx 570..here bat..so if anyone had similar problem with lyra2rev3..saying NO ALGORITHM SPECIFIED ...help)
teamredminer.exe -a lyra2rev3 -o stratum+tcp://eu.gos.cx:4505 -u 3KF7FU5bCPV76dhg5VBLr8DDuFpaR1nUf3.rig1 -p m=party.badnjara

The command line you provided works just fine for me on the later versions. What version are you running? Can you provide the full output when you run the miner?

that happen on both 0.5.6 and 0.5.7,cryptonight algo working just great...but this cant start it...it just say that i write
Auto-detected AMD OpenCL platform 0
No algorithm specified. Use option --help for usage.
successful clean shutdown

That is odd. The most probably cause is still some error in the command line, hmm. Are you _absolutely_ sure you are running that exact command line? Can you open a clean command prompt, copy the text that you entered here yourself and paste it, then dump all the output from that window here if it still doesn't work?

UPDATE: with run_autotune_quick everything going ok,i put inside my data, shares accepted,46-47mh per card..hmmmm...

Ah, auto-tune stuff is only for CN variants. Sounds like we have a bug in the argument parsing code if you add auto tuning arguments for compute algos? If you remove the auto-tune stuff, I'm guessing it works fine as well?

XMR mining

is anyone mining with Saphire Nitro+ RX580? can't get those cards to mine higher the 870Hs. Tried one click polaris modding and SRB modding pimp my straps but the hashrate never went above 870. Memory is hynix.
tried also 7x7
cards are 8gb
running at clock core 1411 and mem 2000

I have MSI and Gigabyte, they are doing 1050 on average.

any recommendations?
thanks.

I have 2 Special Edition variants also with hynix and they are really pain in the a** to set up.
I am running them with config 8+8:BAB,8+8:CAB and 1250/925 core and 2145/940 memory and hashrate is ~ 1015H/s
and this is memory strap that I use on them for 1750, 2000 and 2250

That is rather odd and should definitely not be happening.
I've read log files in detail and found relation:
after one or more GPUs stops giving shares, "total table" stops appearing further. In below example GPU3 and GPU4 are lost, so the blue table is not shown anymore, but rig continues hashing without two GPUs until manual restart. I'm sure you can catch totals disappearing in code and react as GPU watchdog shoud. I could write external tool for log monitoring, but it's a hack.

How is TRM now for heavy, tube or haven algo? I was thinking to stop mining cryptonight R and maybe give some relax to the sytem with heavy algos. I did back out my system a bit for efficiency, and now I average about 2000h/s per vega, i think i use 1100/1000 core and mem (to be honest, since i run MMPOS i don't even know, i didn't touch any machine for 2 months already). What could i expect from heavy algos?

I get error when starting TRM on cnr algo
- Failed to initialize device idx 5 (-31)

Well, I can't say you overdid it providing details about your setup  Grin.

The error is a buffer allocation error, so I'm guessing you're running win10 and have too little swap available to support >= 6 cards? If so, is it possible to increase it to at least >= 48GB?

Another wild guess is that your 6th is a smaller gpu, but you have specified a cn_config that tries to allocate more scratchpads than the gpu can support.

48GB did the job, but i am getting around 800 h/s on each rx 570 x 6 (1250/2100mhz)

You know, Ethash timings are not the same as CN timings.

I know, i have timings as recommended from TRM for rx570 8gb
