We'll release 0.8.6 in 1-2 days that should address the issues for R7 on newer Adrenalin drivers. I'd love to get a few more users to verify it runs ok for them as well though. If you have a chance of joining our Discord server and send me (Kerney666) a DM there I'll give you a beta release to test.

launched a farm profile that worked on version 8.4 to version 8.5 and shows some kind of error -8 on one of the 5700 video cards with ADL fan control and will not start, I had to return version 8.4

when activating the option --fan_control = 63 ::: 50: 1: 90 in version 8.5, the program does not start if there are 5700 video cards ,  fix it otherwise it is impossible to control the fans

BUT now another has appeared
bought a big navi 6800 video card and does not want to control the speed with the options --fan_control = 50: 60: 80: 30: 30: 90 fan_default_big_navi = 50: 60: 80: 30: 1: 90
when I start the rig with the fan_control option, then immediately the fan speed is reset to 0 and is not controlled by temperature and is constantly in this position, but if I remove the fan_control option and leave only fan_default_big_navi, then the speed decreases smoothly to the minimum stitched in the BIOS about 20% and also without control.
tried on version 0.8.5. and 0.8.6 driver 20.12.2, note that I also use the MTP program overlaying some settings in the SPPT

0.8.6 works with the latest drivers for VII and XT series.
Very good speeds 62MH 6800XT and 86.5MH+ on VII with no memory timing changes.
Able to still use 6800XT as main display watching videos and even some games no issue.

I assume there may be a way to squeeze more out of 6xxx series in the future? Since smaller chips but uses about the same watts as the R7 but with less hash?
This isn't a problem of TRM as all software does this that I have tried.

Bugreport:
Running Windows 10 + 20.5.1, TRM 8.6, Radeon VII. Fan speed adjusting is working excellent, FanRpm in log is OK, FanPct in log is always 0.00%. In Claymores monitor (--cm_api_listen) temperatures are OK, fan speed 0%.

AFAIK they do. But stay within reason with stales the lower the better.

Phoenixminer and gminer don´t support Firopow at the moment. But he can try to mine ETH.

Your right. I only saw the ethash messages while he was trying to mine firopow.
If I am correct the hard fork from MTP to FiroPow was on the 26 October 06:00hrs.
He could try this first to see if he still has the issue, if not the issue is with the solo pool.:

You dont need mine there you can mine eth then covert to shiba. Personally i wouldnt sell my eth for shiba because it is pumped allready,it is my opinion.

I haven't had much luck finding a linux-based miner that can play nicely with these older cards
