I saw it briefly yesterday when I refreshed the frontpage of the explorer I'm working on that shows the network hash rate.   I kept an eye on it over the day and it was in the 40-80 range.  It's lower now at around 25..

For growing season your wallet needs to be open and unlocked.

It'll be really sad if we become bag holders of a coin I loved so much.

Rant all you want guys but it's not going to help. The price of any of these coins are what people perceive them to be. All of us HempCoin supporters must buy the cheap coins and people will take notice. How do you think any of these coins take off? There needs to be initial buy support. If you are complaining about this coin then just go and buy some. I say we all buy any orders under 25 satoshis to start. Anytime you see any order under 25 just buy it. Then we will move it up to 50, etc.

You have to understand market structure. There is an accumulation phase... these foolish miners will keep dumping into our pockets for cheap. Eventually they won't be able to mine as many coins and sell for so cheap. At this point we will have accumulated lot's of THC, there won't be as much available to sell and the power will change hands. Study this graphic for a basic understanding if you are unfamiliar



It is not only market structure that matters. There needs to be a strong active developer. I suggest as a community we kinda take over the development of this coin. Everyone can work on something and we will turn this into something big. The explorer looks great! Maybe add some anon functionality or some new feature that is cool. A coin can turn from nothing into something pretty fast but the people behind it must understand this game we play.

Hard work pays off. I am ready to work hard for this coin. My specialties are in web development, database administration and marketing. Let's put together a wishlist of what we want done for this coin. I think we have lots of skilled people here and can make an amazing team.

The devs aren't as dead as they make it seem. They reply to me quite quickly in private messages (I built the paper wallet so they might like me more than other people who message them). It took a lot of money/time to create this coin and get it running. Once the coin gets better they will probably be more active.

Yes but Bittrex will kick us off if the volume isn't at 0.1 BTC per day so we have to buy. It would really suck to be delisted from Bittrex.. although they are good people so they might list us again if new developments are under way.

I agree with everything you've said!  I sometimes find myself getting caught up on the daily gripes when I too look at this as a long term journey of success.


I also think I've been looking at buying cheap coins all wrong.  Every time it drops I think "man, someone is just making money off me propping up the price"  at the same time I have to remember I'm not selling the coins and I'm buying them for dirt cheap under 50 sats.

I remade the coin image and all that but the developer has yet to do anything with it, all he had to do was replace it in the post/build files but hasn't. That is why I stopped helping with it. I was trying to build it with the updating resource files but don't really care anymore.
