Ok, I was under the impression were were going to be all be gentlemen about these next 10k blocks but apparently that's not going to be the case.
A hash fight for blocks of thc it is...
gentlemen we all are, but given a hint of only getting half the amount of hempcoin...... all bets are off !!!
just wanted to give out kudos everyone that have really stepped up to the plate, the hempcoin community have accomplished a lot in the past weeks.
awesome website, html5 wallet, new logo and shiny new wallet.
we may not be the biggest community, but we are strong and will only grow from here on out. the resent attacks/issues have brought everyone closer and gave our dedicated developer the opportunity to prove himself capable of taking hempcoin where it deserves to be.
this is one of my favorite threads to follow as everyone is helpful and positive, some other coin threads are just outright depressing.
lets get the word out about hempcoin and get this coin the attention it deserves !!!
To be honest, I feel thankful for the attacks as well as the setbacks caused as a result. Like you said, there are some other threads out there that are outright depressing but I feel that through the issues hempcoin has faced, were it not for those opportunities, and for those involved to see them as such, hempcoin would not have been able to prove it's resiliency and strength. Though I'm sure it didn't feel like it to devs at the time, I feel much of it's the success of hempcoin is the direct result of having the opportunity to overcome such trials.
In fact I hadn't initially planned on focusing on Hempcoin nearly as much as I have and my decision to make it my number one coin to mine, support, and hodl was made after I saw the dedication by the devs and the community after it was pulled from Bittrex (the first time, lol).
Now, with the new wallet, the community, the website, the design and the block halving coming up, this small community supporting this scrappy little coin has turned pro and fans are going to come as a result. Truth be told, hempcoin should be treated as a proof of concept for the entire crypto-community in general. It's the coin every developer claims they are creating until they dump their premine or lose their shit after a fork or go AWOL and stop caring or what-have-you. It's also the coin every crypto supporter wants to support until the ADD kicks into gear and their "investment" quickly fades because they happened to notice something new and shiny and it happens to come with it's very own pump and dump built into it.
Now is the era of promotion, community and market-capitalization. One this for certain, this is a new era for THC. We will no longer be able to continue quietly mining a coin consistently double the btc/mhash of most other coins. Maybe it was just me being all hush hush, possibly needlessly. In which case, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is bg and I'm addicted to THC.
