There are new Progressive KO tournaments in the lobby throughout the day at various buy-in levels. When you eliminate a player half of their bounty is instantly credited to your account, and the other half is added to the bounty on your head.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

giving really good taste of poker.
Lololol. I don't think he knows what it really means. I've been on bad runs when I was playing a lot but the last one was like really bad and lasted for months. I tried to improve, switch sites, play lower then eventually quit playing it seriously. It's like somebody flipped a switch and I could win consistently anymore. My mindset was f*cked after that experience.

SwC has decided to cover the bitcoin network fee for player withdrawals while we build lightning network functionality.
Lightning Network on SwC Poker platform, that will help to increase speed of transactions; and decrease transactions fees. Because there are more competitors, there are less dictators, or in other words cheaper transaction speed is utmost thing for SwC growing further. Moreover, SwC team has shown their strong opinion on abusers and the SwC platform has already had its protections for such potential abusements.

^ Have you used it before? I don't think it's really gonna help with the site's traffic, now, tbh. But it could if it starts gaining ground. Still a pretty big if imho.

6/4/2019 SwC Update
SwC has decided to cover the bitcoin network fee for player withdrawals while we build lightning network functionality. If we find players abusing this generous policy by requesting many small withdrawals management will be forced to make additional rulings at management discretion.
Our software refactor is expected to take weeks or months to complete, for it is a large project. We will introduce 'leaderboard' promotion before the software refactor is finished, as that does not require additional client functions.
Actually this is really a great thing to make your withdrawal processed by LightningNetwork but do you think it is stable enough to cover everything? Because I still heard some issues towards their system and it seems that it is no safe enough. Are you sure to have this implemented? Abusing it currently with the LN might be done from couple of them, you should really make the rules ASAP instead of let it slips away

Top 2 questions to SwC support are "when lightning?" and "when other coins?" we are working on both, in that order.

Having accepted bitcoin payments through the LN for over a year, there's definitely a growing market demand for it. And outside of potential new traffic it will be great for current players and the site. It will increase privacy and break the link if your payment is routed through the network. And it will allow players to deposit and withdraw instantly for nearly no cost, so it can be done every session if they choose. The ability to have funds in a channel that can instantly be pushed back and forth so that you don't have to give up control of your bitcoin while you're away is the future.

Lots of people received $25 giveaway that paid in Stellar. Some of them might use their Stellar coins to bet, if there are places to bet. Therefore, I suggest to consider adding Stellar as the first altcoin accepted on SwCPoker. In addition, fees of transactions on Stellar network is cheap, that this another advantageous feature of Stellar that likely attractive to gamblers.

SwC gets this request often. Stellar bch ltc xmr eth are often requested. We will bring multiple coins for deposits into the game in the future. base currency for play will remain bitcoin.

If this will come true for sure there will be a lot of traffic in the SwC gambling website. There are so many people that are finding a gambling website that has an option deposit for stellar altcoin. It is also easy to use stellar to send, and SwC can be flexible I believe.

In the future when it becomes possible to deposit other coins they will still be converted to bitcoin when you deposit, and you will then play using bitcoin at the tables. So if you have another coin that you'd rather use today and you don't want to wait, you can just convert it to bitcoin and then deposit. The Bad Beat Jackpot was just hit again a couple days ago: The best Bad Beat Jackpot in poker... the minimum buy-in at the lowest stakes is only 0.001 BTC, there's no extra rake or jackpot drop taken to fund it, and the hand requirements make winning/getting a table share realistic for everyone.

To add shitcoins is completely meaningless. It don't bring any value and it won't bring any new players.
Why would anyone deposit shitcoins and get a worse exchange rate then they would if they exchanged it themself.
It would also hurt the brand. SwC shitcoin poker.
To implement lightening on the other hand, thats a good idea.

Because apart from transaction fees there are also withdrawal fees? Because not everyone has an account on exchange sites? Because in case of smaller amounts slightly higher fees are harldy an issue? Because fees do not have to be higher at all? Because of convenience? I see absolutely no harm in integrating a simple tool, ie. such as Shapeshift, that allows altcoin deposits. SwC would still remain 100% bitcoin poker and could increase their revenue from poker (+ potential affiliate share of exchange fees). Unfortunately Shapeshift now requires id verification and I'm not aware of any worthy alternatives.

Unfortunately Shapeshift now requires id verification and I'm not aware of any worthy alternatives. Your points. 1. Bitcoin withdrawals are now paid by SwC so thats free. And lightning will be far cheaper (free as well most likely). 2. How did they buy shitcoins without an shitcoin exchange? If you got shitcoins at blockchain.info or earn.com (coinbase) you allready got an account. 3. Sure fees is an issue, but it will cost more in convertion (bad exchange rate) then btc fee for amounts above $20. Lightning will solve this. 4. Ligthning. 5. Your only valid point. But in reality, who really use altcoins for anything? And how many people are willing to pay more to be able to spend some other coin?

Personally, I am worried about the "no banking" part of their credo. But if they figure something out, I don't see the issue with it (althought I am surprised these Bitcoin maximalists would go for it tbh). I mean, you don't HAVE to use it anyways.
I, however, do not think it will significantly improve liquidity on the site.
Edit: OFCp down?
