I noticed it re-calulating forward to beat others making me the highest buyer, but never backwards as per my example.

Also, what about the order stacking thing I mentioned ? Did you understand what I was saying ?

C.A.T. recalculate both sides, so if  it doesn't recalculate back probably there's a reason, BUT if you order is the only one on top, CAT will recalculate with 1 Sat More/Less than best price.

Quote
If people stack their orders on mine be it on the buy side or sell side my orders will take longer to fill.

You mean that you have a sell/buy order @100 and someone else put another order @100?
C.A.T. is able to understand if you are alone or with other users in that market position. In that case C.A.T. will recreate an order At 99 (Sell)/101 (BUY)

If I make buy order for 100 @ 0.00000123 and someone makes buy order for 230 @ 0.00000123 the way it would look on the site is 330 @ 0.00000123.

CAT should "I think" make me a new buy order for 100 @ 0.00000124 but does not, it leaves stacked with other buyers order.

To be decided...

This is the same as above : C.A.T. will found that you're not the only one at 123 and recalculate at 124. Did you wait the recalculation routine?

I restarted it because it got Status: Lookup.

Can you please buy for 1 PRIME on TREX at 0.00000426 which will stack with mine and see if maybe I'm just missing something ?

Ty... also like I said in other example.

Well, lets say I have order 1 @ 0.00000127, with the middle three orders gone because their owners cancelled them. Shouldnt CAT recalculate my buy at 0.00000124 ? The way it does now it leaves it at 0.00000127 costing me an extra 0.00000003 sats.

I hope this makes sense but recalucation only seems to work to give you the best price on the buy / sell side but not recalculate when other people remove their orders.

Recalculate functions try to set your order in the best position (and according to your parameter).
So, in your example, CAT will recalculate price at 0.00000124 during recalculation routine.
But remember that Recalculation routine occurs every X Lookup (X Is Dynamic, you can set from the Ping-Pong parameter panel).

It didn't seem to do this either, left gap between orders... but I may have over looked this one. I suspect this one might be harder to really nail down.

I'm working in debug mode.
Probably i have found a case when recalculation is not triggered when you have the best price (with other users).
So, if i found this problem, i will correct immediatedly and release in 3.2 Version  Wink

Sounds good, please try to maybe look into the other thing too in the example where I used 5 orders and gap was left in between prices if I'm making sense ;-)

Ok now i remember.
Many users doesn't wants to be always on top "alone" because bot can compete each other in an infinite +1 +1 +1 +1
So actually if you're on TOP you will remain on top (But remember that your order have priority over orders added later).

So, the only thing i can do is add an option "Always stay Alone on Top Orders Book" so users are able to choose.

That option would be nice. As for priority, I thought trex / any exchange didn't do that. So like if someone sells 1000 coins. It's even distributed among all open orders at same price.

In addition to this option, could you add an option to allow CAT to be minimized to the tray ?

I've been running CAT for about 24hrs now... noticed this while working today but I seemed to have started competing with myself. Still going on now...

I can't give you more info looking at a screenshot, are these orders ping-pong-both? It depends by how they are working inside C.A.T.

Started originally as two ping pongs.

Edit: Can I create just pings "sells" with CAT that never go below x price and always do the +1 to stay on top ?

I got a good balance of existing coins I want to sell but can't babysit the market but don't want to pong the coin from the sells.

Hope that made sense, Ty.

I know this already but after a sell completes it creates a buy. If I list a sell of 200 coins. Once it's sold I'd like CAT to do another sell of a random value of coins never exceeding x with x being line 350.

So after one sell completes, instead of trying to do a buy like it does now. I'd like it to do another sell between 1 & x with x being the value set in case of this example. It does another sell between 1 & 350 and repeats til coin sdupply is depleted or i stop it.

Understand now ?

You can try this way

You can set a % GAIN OF 999 so pong will never ben completed
Remove option ALWAYS CREATE ORDERS FROM TRADES.

And C.A.T. won't create any PONG.

Then.

You can set a BUY/SELL Pool high value (Value is in total, you can have a preview of new order calculation) and you can limit with option "Stop Ping Creation if total orders amount is > X"
You can set Never Create Ping with Quantity > Y

Result will be very similar to the one you ask me.
