holding and holding is one of the strategies of investors to look safe in their investments but also requires considerable confidence and patience of course and we must be able to take advantage of every opportunity that will be obtained

I think that is the hope of all the holders who still have coins and do not want to sell their assets at low prices, they are waiting for the cryptocurrency to increase their prices again because they know that selling at low prices will make them suffer a lot of losses.

That's right.  You need to buy coins while the market is so low, because to predict when the market can not soar, but it just happens!

To my best understanding
Presently, the crypto currency market is a game of who buys or accumulates most tokens or bitcoins

The Government and The  big men wants to buy several of it and companies want to be a part of it as well

If we see BTC at $3k, I won't be surprised but when the moon and bull runs start..

It will be as eagles soar on the sky high
Already below 3k and I think this is not the limit. But for holding such prices with a recent investment should not scare. I think there are more of these than stupid holders from the beginning of the year.

Who are the institutional investors buying crypto now? Is anyone here have a visibility which wallets they own?

Why is everyone saying this always - bank and institutions are buying crypto NOW since the price is low? Can anyone support this claim?

Accept the fact the the bear market or crypto winter may last long and don't peg your hopes on "institutional investors or financial institutions" that will reverse the market and start the bull run.

The only time I'll believe that the market has reversed is that when I see a 20%+ gain in the market cap.

Same as everyone, I want to see another bull run BUT I am not a dreamer.

Don't be a dreamer, accept the facts and be a realist.... Wake up!
The sooner you wake up, the sooner you'll be able to make proactive choices and better decisions.
Cool

I think institutional investors would not come out publicly and say, we are xxxx bank, and we bought xxxx value of bitcoin, no never.

But when G.20 Countries sit up in a meeting and talk about regulating icos and crypto currency to some extent, Then we should know there is going to be massive adoption soon, which means there are big fish, who are needing some form of assurance before legally permitting their citizens to be a part

Atleast, thats how i view this.

Price changes always occur in the same scenario. Before a trend change in the market, there is always a significant price reduction. The events of the last month, I think, will not be an exception.

Holders in this cryptocurrency space are very patient people who also make it big here. They keep getting richer and richer.
Despite the current market situation, I believe there is still hope for holders.

There's no problem about being optimistic even sometimes it seem that market take time to recover. But if we know thatbour holding coin have potential then no matter what it takes we will wait for it because we know eventually holding our coin is really worth it. Right now we still holding our coin because its price is not yet rising, so the best to do i to hold especially when we have a good coin or have potential.

Not sure any institutional buyers are investing in the crypto market as its current state as they don't find it attractive and safe for their investments just yet. But certainly there's great gain for hodlers who choose not to sell off this period, especially if they have to sell at a loss.

At that moment, when it may seem to you that you have a huge amount in tokens, the price of these coins will be lower than one cent and all that you will have is several hundred dollars. I have the same situation now. When the eagles will soar no one knows.

the market is cyclical sooner or later will surely return to a bull phase, but regardless of this we can do different strategies like daily trading (possibly scalping), leveraged trading (to avoid losses) or a holding strategy with hope in the future pump

The only hope is everyone who holds their money is waiting for it and hoping for the best. Cryptocurrency is far from the best, so everyone is waiting for changes

I am sure, the hodlers have not only the hope. These people know how to read the technical analysis, and they trust the cryptocurrencies that they have in the portfolio. Suppose, the market can go up this winter.

Many postulations on this matter. Many people think the big shots are stocking BTC for the long run. There might be a sense of truth in this, but nobody knows for a fact. We all are hoping for the best, let the market rebound, let the FUD reduce and let mainstream adoption come no matter the means or route.

I of course , too , keep and hope that bitcoin will return soon, do not want to go to the big minus, I think soon we will see a good growth!
I will not agree with this, because I do not see any reason for the market to start its growth, I have seen a lot of negative news that was targeted at large investors, but I don’t see positive news.

True and to some extent I agree. But have anyone really considered trading at a loss and also protecting their downside? Here's a simple math that worked for me in a bear market.

1. Bought 1 BTC at 10,000K
2. 1 BTC peaked at 19,200K, didn't sell (HODL!)  Cool
3. Accepted 20% loss and sold at $15,300  Cry
4. Bought 3 BTC when it hit $5000
5. Accepted 20% loss and sold at $4,000 (usd on hand $12,000)  Cry

Hodling 1 BTC is still just 1 BTC, but accepting loss twice and on step 4, you'll have 3 BTC for hodling or step 5 accepting another loss $12,000.
$12,000 beats $4,000 value of holding 1 BTC.

I just took BTC as a sample, this could be applied to ETH and the rest of the coins or tokens.
In trading and accepting loss, the only real enemy is yourself and how you'll get over the loss.
Time is both an enemy and ally in investing.

everything is a game if you think of it, like life. I can think that we are in a mmorpg world Cheesy and god is the creator and master.
i view things like that. Sorry if i am a bit weird but i can see or imagine people having stats when i see their body, For example.
When a man got great physique because he worksout. I can see him got higher level and stats than any guy who got thin body.
We are just mind with body :d.

And to crypto market, i really believe government got their plan on what to do to whatever happen. They got a plan like IF and Then process.
for ex:
If this happens then they do this, and so on.

My opinion: major players will enter the market. But they had to drop the prices. We are waiting for new investments, and then we will be in the green zone, and we will earn. Therefore, now investments are welcome
