I like them both but I prefer the bitcoin because I hate waiting on profit and with the bitcoin its mostly going pretty fast compared with the gold.
You hate waiting for profit? Why you will hate waiting for profit if it is about money or btc, It is good to have them both, but you will just need to use them appropriately and properly. |

Where I live small fish usually buy gold coins which are sold in banks. Bigger fish may buy small gold bars (banks also sell them). Whales buy gold at commodity exchanges by buying gold futures which are settled at a certain date with physical delivery of purchased gold... So, as I assume, you should look into gold coins and mini-bars  Thanks for the info. Will take a research.
It is not that much unaffordable. Check Kitco or any other online bullion retailer for 1g gold coins.
As I had hinted earlier, it will be much better if you purchase 1/2 Oz or 1 Oz coins, but if you don't have that much capital with you right now, then you can go for smaller amounts.
This is what Im trying to know, retailers or something like that. So it can be start by trying a retailer "online". I thought first at exchange as a virtual one and then can redeem physically. |

I love them both and I also have them both, if I really have to choose I will go for the bitcoin because I simply love it it does not have a reason at the moment, its just that its very profitable on a short term.
Having them both is quite good advantage if you are owning a gold bar then for sure you will become a millionaire once you sell it. And if you are a bitcoin investors and you are also holding so many bitcoins to your bitcoin wallet address or cold storage address. In the future it can also make you rich, you just need to absorb their advantages. |

Can i choose both of them? Without gold you cannot make coins.. cause in our country they use hold in creating our money.
So both of them are important
Maybe the best option is to do a portfolio investment, for example invest 70% of what you have in low risk investment which is gold and invest another 30% on bitcoin to decrease your risk. That could be a good idea, but if you have no enough funds to invest in gold that will give you a good profit in return, you have to prioritize a more risky investment that would give you an amazing return in the future, and that is bitcoins for me. Yes, the fact is that when you do not have no money then you do not need to tolerate much risk, losing 20$ is not that risky when it comes to investment. |

Now I am fan of gold but I want to do an investment and do not deal till next 1-2 years then I would say gold is better option.
Gold will always help you in long run and you can trust it with closed eyes as gold holds maximum number of satisfied customers which bitcoin don't at this stage. Yes, for a low risk long time investment the best thing is gold however for a venture investment bitcoin is better as you see now that bitcoin investors are making much more than gold investors. Yes the number of investors are increasing in bitcoin at a moment as they know bitcoin can give them best returns in quick time which is unlikely with gold. It seems that increasing the number of investors is another factor that lead to increasing price of bitcoin now so I say gold is better now  ! |

It seems that increasing the number of investors is another factor that lead to increasing price of bitcoin now so I say gold is better now ! It is still too early to say whether the recent spike was caused by increased interest from the investors, or due to the actions of the speculators and margin traders. If the prices stay stable, then we can claim that the short sellers and margin traders are getting replaced with long term investors. Need to wait until next month, to find that out. |

Nah dude, i think both are good. Both gold and bitcoin have their own advantage. For gold, gold have a stable price than bitcoin and bitcoin has a good price and can increase anytime. |

me too i prefered choose bitcoin too, bitcoin have more simple way to spend, selling or receiveing and NO taxing in bitcoin . so for some investor this is make people interesting to long term with it. |
