365 day 100$ trading challenge. 135% profits in only 35 days!!!!

In one of my previous topics https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5083004.msg48585536#msg48585536 I posted that it should be possible to grow your balance by almost 3800% in 1 year only by setting a 1% profit goal per day.

I got several replies and read in other topics that it is impossible to make consistent profits on a daily basis. I entirely disagree with that so I decided to take the challenge.

My General goal is to grow my 100$ balance to minimum 3,778$ in 365 trading days what is exactly the amount you can generate in 365 days with a 1% daily profit combined with a 100% compounding strategy.

What will I do?

-Today 22/12/2018 I deposited 0.027BTC (which was 100$ at time of deposit) to binance and this is the only deposit I have made on this account and will be the only deposit during the 365 day period.



- I will trade a period of 365 days and will practically only use the buy the dip strategy and only use 1 indicator, the Bollinger bands.

- I will trade exactly 365 days. So if I skip a day or multiple days because of for example holidays this days will not count. I will trade exactly 365 days

- I will post daily updates with my balance and trades.

- Goal on this account is to grow the USD fiat balance. In a week or so I will start the same strategy to grow my crypto (BTC) balance as well.


My goals

My daily goal is to generate 1% profits on my current balance that day.

My yearly goal is to let my Fiat balance grow with minimum 3,778%


To achieve this goal I will not withdraw a single penny during the entire year. I will use my 100% compounding strategy from day 1. Screenshot below show the general goal.






To make this a real challenge I want to launch a fun contest on this. The contest will be very simple.

how does the contest work?

First 50 that join the contest will have the opportunity to grab the prize.

Prize When goal isn't achieved
-> 25% of remaining balance will be for the person that replied NO and made the closest estimation of my balance after 365 days.

->If balance is between 3,778$ and 5,000$ 10% will be divided over all persons that replied YES and the one with the closest estimation receives an extra 250$
-> If balance is 5,000$+ 10% will be divided over all persons that replied YES and the one with the closest estimation receives an extra 10%



I posted in an earlier thread that me and my friends can offer this as a service to but we do not want to do that. like stated in the post. I will trade for exactly 365 days. So even if I reach the goal earlier I will keep trading until I exactly traded 365 days.

I am doing this challenge to show people that even with a small amount you can achieve nice things. There are many peoples that can't afford to put 100s or 1000s of $ in trading or investments. So that's why beside my regular trading I do this challenge. Reaching the goal of 3,778$ would mean a big difference for a lot of people on this planet. Even in Europe where I live. 3,778$ would mean 2-3 extra monthly salaries on top of your normal yearly earnings.

Deposited 0.027BTC which was 100$ at the time of deposit. After that I sold for a 3% profit. After that I executed 1 more small trade with 50% of my balance and closed the day with 3.16% which is way above my day 1 goal.

3800% in a year is very doable, but having to set a fixed gain to your portfolio will put you under pressure and take you straight to rekt city.

one should only trade when they see a valid signal based on their strategy , if you force yourself to trade only to trade then you are simply gambling.

actual trades will be shared. I will edit my day 1 post and add the trades I made. Not that many though. my mindset is to reach my daily goal. After that I continue trading in my other accounts just to be sure I do not take unnecessary risk to close this account with a loss.

thx for your reply. Dont know you read well but this challenge is ment to increase fiat balance. I am not doing this challenge to increase my crypto balance. So every night before I go to bed I will always only hold fiat (USDC OR USDT).
In a week or so I will also start a challenge that increases the crypto value.

Well why not? Nothing to lose. I'm going to say you'll succeed but not in your main objective, you'll make some money, assuming you keep to all your stop losses, I'm guessing the 1% skips will ensure you get most days, your only risk (relatively low) is a flash crash but again stops will save you.

So to make this clear, you're always ending the day with fiat value and not crypto? So no open trades every end of day? And therefore, BTC value won't affect your holdings?

Indeed This one i end Every day with only fiat. Will never have open positions in crypto over night. Next week i also start with a second one and there i Will go for crypto value increasement. But This one is for fiat value increasement

I believe he mentioned he will be opening a btc account as well so I'm guessing he will start trading alt pairs more frequently. I think the choatic altcoin ocean becomes a whole lot less choatic if your goal is 1% per trade.

This challenge is ment to increase my fiat value as high as possible. So I will end every trading day only with USDT USDC or USD. Possibly I will be trading alts as well but the main intention is to grow the fiat value. So at the end of the day I will always close in fiat.

On January 1st I will also do the same with another 100$ but with that I am going to increase my crypto (BTC) value.

The other account with btc is separately from this for the challenge. Only the 100$ account will counted in for the challenge. I will open a BTC account with 100$ as well and apply the same strategy but that doesn't count for this thread and challenge.

So this thread will stick to tether value. it is ment to trade 365 days. In the other account next week I will trade as well and that challenge will be to increase the BTC value not the fiat like in this thread

BTW even if it are redlines today, I made a couple profitable trades in the XRP/USDT pair today. Even if the market is red as blood. there are plenty of opportunities daily to grab some nice % profits. XRP/USDT is bouncing already the entire day

I already stated more than once. Even if the target of 3,778$ is reached earlier I will keep trading for 365 days. And wether there will be a bull run or not it will not have any effect because this portfolio I am not trying to expand my crypto value. I am purely trading to increase my $ value. So even a bull run does not have any effect on my challenge.

If I go to sleep with a 250$ balance when btc is 5k and next day I wake up and BTC went to 10K I will still have the 250$ balance. People must read well. This challenge is all about building fiat value, so I will not hold any crypto.

If I reach the target much sooner, it will stay because I trade for USD. So if for example there is a market crash then I will still have the 3778$ and build further.

So far so good. Many people maybe think, well it goes good but profits aren't huge, how in earth is he going to achieve the 4,778% profit goal. Well I am not worrying. I am running 10 days up front to the actual compounding schedule. The most important is to achieve the 1% daily. The effect of the compounding will start showing much effect in the last 60-90 days. So we are still way from that point, but we will ge there.


Still do not forget to participate in the small attached contest. Estimate the outcome of this challenge and win up to 10% of my end balance at the end of the challenge. Easiest way to make some free money!!!!

And if you can get 4% in a day, then for 3% will be your bonus because you only want to reach 1% daily but on that day, you can get 4%. But my advice still is careful because the market cannot be predicted and right now, bitcoin price is on the downtrend, so I think it will affect the altcoin too. Don't get a trap at the high price and once again, don't greed.

This is a great thread and your doing great so far.  Now if you started with $1million you already would of made over 100k. well it wouldn't work out the same due to large volume and you may have gotten nervous with that much money.

Indeed, with larger amounts it would be more difficult. However this is only a test account to show people a nice amount can be made in 1 year if you keep compounding your profits. I have several other trading accounts as well and to be honest the same strategy works as good on a trading account with 25 or 50k starting balance.
The only difference is that you must spread your amount over multiple smaller orders. Placing an order of 25k or 50k on some markets is to high and will create a wall. In my larger accounts I mostly only trade on the top volume pairs.

im trading on binance. just because there fees are lowest on the market and I very often take micro profits. On other exchanges it would cost me too much

Do you have past experience or you got some knowledge and now decided to try your skills/luck? Also as you said, your main target is value in usd so if bitcoin rises and rises, you just hold them but value in usd increases, is your goal achieved? Bitcoin costs 1000$, become 1100$ in 10 day, so you profited 10% in this ten day but number of btc is same and in reality you did nothing, is goal still achieved?

If you read my replies you will find out how I trade. I do not hold any crypto at the end of a trading day. This challenge is all about increasing my Fiat value. However if I for example take a position in XXX/USDT and suddenly it takes of 3-5-7-... % profits then I have luck. But my goal remains the same, 1% daily combined with 100% compounding.
So this also means that I make 5% in 1 day that I will not relax and quit trading for 4 days. No matter how much profits I make in 1 day or if I reach my goal earlier, I will keep trading until I traded exactly 365 days.

I think the profit you take was not too big and as long as you can get a profit, you close it right away and moves into another coin. I told before i use bollingers combined with dip strategy. I am buying when a dips Goes below the bollinger. Mostly after a dip through the bollinger the price jumps back up (mostly not that much 0.5-1.5%). So i exit the market pretty fast after a trade.

Little information about my strategy

I have had several questions in replies and in pm in what way I determine when to enter and when to exit the market.

Actually the strategy I use is very simple and can be learned and applied even by a 5 year old kid. To apply the strategy I use you only need to set the Bollinger bands. This strategy can be applied during a bull but also in a bear market.

Very often we see that when there is a dip in the market and it breaks or touches the lowest Bollinger band results in a bounce back up. Check the screenshot. I missed this opportunity cause I was having lunch but the strategy could have been applied here.
Make sure you set the chart at 6 to max 24 hours and set candles timeframe @ max 5 minutes.



You notice that there was a dip and the dip touched and even broke a little through the lowest Bollinger with the lowest point at 0.35754$. You also notice that within 10 minutes after this happened it bounced back up and you could have taken a profit. I mostly calculate 1% profit as soon as I entered the market. In this example I would have entered around 0.3577.

0.3577* 1.01 -> So to make my 1% profits I would place my sell order at 0.36127$. Of course the fee would need to be deducted but still it will leave you 0.8-0.9% profits.

In the picture you notice that this strategy could have been applied in 2 other occasions earlier today. So this strategy could have been applied 3 times in last 2 hours time frame and this only on 1 coin. On a daily basis there are tens of different opportunities to apply this strategy and to take some profits.... even when we are in a bear market.


It is a very simple strategy but it requires patience and monitoring. So if you do not have time to sit behind your screen and monitor the market than this strategy is not for you. But if you have 1-2 hours daily I am sure you will track different situations that you can apply this strategy.


Do not expect huge profits. My goal is to take 1% on every occasion but sometimes I need to satisfy myself with less than 1%. But well a profit is a profit. Larger profits can be made if you are lucky that the coin you entered is pumped right after the dip occurred.

One of my advices for people that want to apply the strategy do not always put your full balance in 1 position. There is no 100% guarantee that when a candles breaks the Bollinger it will go up again. In most cases it will but there are daily situations that there is a small 'crash' and the coin keeps dipping. So always make sure you leave some balance to possibly enter the market again at a lower point.

My advice:
If you notice a dip touching or breaking the Bollinger you can use up to 50% max of your balance. If it bounces back up you take 1% and an overall 0.5% on your balance. If you see it keeps dipping you can put 2 more buy orders of 25% each.


Hopefully this explains a little bit more how I work. I am not the type of guy that analyses a coin or follows the news. I follow my instincts and just work on the bollingers and the dip because I know this strategy works in both markets, bull and bear market.

I know. but this is just a challenge to push me to the limit. I hold several accounts where I trade and I have coins that I hold. But this is a fun thing to do in beween.
I saw lot of participants don't believe I will succeed in reaching my goal I have set. But at this point the compounding doesn't have much effect. As long as I stick to the 1% daily and 100% compounding it should be achievable. And all extra percentages I can take in between are a bonus and help me achieving the goal.

I explained multiple times what strategy I use. And I cannot post upfront at what point I am going to enter the market. It all depends on when the candle breaks or touches the lowest Bollinger band. So I cannot post prior my trades at what point I am buying. Beside the Bollinger I am not using any other indicator to enter the market. I just manually screen the charts and enter the market when I seen an opportunity.

So I am not using any other indicator. Its simple I take a trade when I seen the candle is going below or touches the Bollinger and exit when it bounces back up for 0.5-1%.

Im always careful. I have everything in USDT now. After luck i start trading and look for positions that suit my strategy.

If you're having another account in BTC though, then does that also count? It should just be your starting $100, no? Otherwise you're affected by Bitcoin price and if 2019 sees BTC doubling (not impossible), you gain that much more just by holding. This is a trading challenge though, so let's keep it to your Tether values.

The other account with btc is separately from this for the challenge. Only the 100$ account will counted in for the challenge. I will open a BTC account with 100$ as well and apply the same strategy but that doesn't count for this thread and challenge.

So this thread will stick to tether value. it is ment to trade 365 days. In the other account next week I will trade as well and that challenge will be to increase the BTC value not the fiat like in this thread

BTW even if it are redlines today, I made a couple profitable trades in the XRP/USDT pair today. Even if the market is red as blood. there are plenty of opportunities daily to grab some nice % profits. XRP/USDT is bouncing already the entire day

Oh yeah, for sure, traders like yourself, scalpers or day traders, they don't seem to really care much for market sentiment, but volume and volatility are actually preferable - I suppose even with the thin volumes of past months, it's not too much of an effect, not when you're looking to trade such small units.

One more thing: be much easier to follow/verify if you could post the trades as soon as you do them, and then update your closed trades quoting the original post. Also easier to identify your strategy if it worked, or did not.

7 day summary


I am not going into detail but only show the facts and results of my first trading week.


 - Starting balance was $100 Deposited 0.027BTC the 21th of December which was 100$ at the time of deposit

 - Goal was to trade with 1% daily profits and compound 100% of my profits. According to the compounding schedule after 7 days I should be
   on $107.21.




Actual results after 7 days of trading.



Actual balance : $125,67 (0.03274943BTC)

             -> Fiat profits :     $25,67 or 25.67% profits
             -> BTC profits :     0.00574943BTC or 21.29%

As told previously this challenge is to increase the FIAT value. So that is my first priority. But the increasement of my BTC value is a nice bonus as well.

Goal is to reach 1% daily. Profit percentage shows I made 25.67% in 7 days which means I reached an average of 3,66% daily. This also have effect on my compounding schedule. You see on the screenshot that at this moment my my balance is except for 0.03$ the same as the amount of day 23 in the compounding schedule. This means that after 7 days of trading I am 16 days ahead on the compounding schedule.




Conclusion: First week went pretty well and I am happy im ahead of schedule. Every day I am ahead can cover for a day I will not reach my goal or have a small loss. So at this moment I am feeling pretty comfortable. Being 16 days ahead does not mean I am going to chill out. I will keep aiming for that 1% daily. Because the more days earlier I reach my goal the more days I have left in the 365 day trading challenge and the higher possible profits will be.

Every day that the goal is reached earlier can have a huge effect on the compounding. Normally 1% daily + 100% compounding means you will end up with 3,778$. Just have a look if I would be able to trade 16 days longer because I am ahead of the schedule. this could have an effect of $652 more that could be profited.





For the upcoming weeks I will post more details about the trades I have made and I will try to add some graphs that are related to the trades I have made. Beside that I thank everyone to follow this thread and I hope we can keep boosting our balance.

I bought at 2 higher points as well. But like I mentioned I never get in with my full balance. So if the dip continues I can enter the market in several different occasions. So the 0.36 wasn't the only entrance point. I also have at 0.362 and 0.363. So those positions will be hold a little longer. But in meantime I have balance left to enter new positions again. Like I told before. the strategy is not a 100% guarantee. So I always advice people that apply the strategy not to use their entire balance in 1 position. There is always a chance it drops further. But as long as you keep balance to buy lower than your first entry you can avoid losses and trade with the balance left and wait with the other position until it recovers again

I am not tracing bottoms by using the BB. Thats why I also mentioned before that even if the candle breaks the lower BB it is not a 100% guarantee it will bounce back up. Thats why I strongly recommend people following me to use smaller parts of their balance so they have sufficient funds left to take more positions if the coin keeps dropping.

Yeah I know but I can't afford to keep it in crypto at this moment.

firstly my goal in this challenge is to build fiat value and not crypto amount. So I can't afford to keep in crypto in the evening and wake up it dropped to much and see a couple of days work vanished.
But I do set buy order before going to bed.I mostly set my buys 5-15% lower as the value @ time of going to sleep.

One of the following days or weeks I am also starting the same challenge with the same amount but then I will try to build as much crypto as possible.

So if I stay in BTC overnight in that one it does not matter cause the BTC value will remain the same. But I rather do not have open positions when going to sleep. I could put up stop loss but I rather have only open positions when I am trading during the day and take some smaller profits than hoping there will be a bounce at night. In this way I try to avoid too many losses. At this moment I did not close any position at a loss. After 12 days every single trade got closed with profit and thats the way I like it.

Yes indeed. I do not make any predictions but in one way I hope I can blast this challenge and end up with a very serious balance. Then my quote ' you can achieve whatever you want with only a small starting balance' is proven.
I know when the balance get higher it will become tougher. But on the other hand if you put 1k in a trade or 100$ its the same, as long as you out it in high volume markets.
I also apply this strategy on one of my personal accounts. I started with that one 20 days ago with 25k balance. On this account I am up about 4k. So a little less than 20% profits in 20 days. I did the same 2 years ago as well. the only thing I notice is that with a higher balance it is easier when we are in a bull run. But still even in a bearish market you can make nice profits as well with a higher balance as long as you spread your orders on different buy levels

ETH/USDT made me a good day today. As expected with the upcoming fork ETH is bouncing up and down and hitting new 24h ATH couple times. I expect a further uptrend until the fork so probably gonna keep trading this market for the upcoming days.

Today I made about 6$ profits on a 138$ balance which means almost 4.5% profits again today.



In this way I keep well ahead of my compounding schedule. At this moment I more or less have the balance I should have at day 37. But I already achieved this in day 12. So I am 25 days ahead of the schedule.

Yeah only switched to ETH because the upcoming fork. You can almost be 100% certain the price Will keep increasing until the fork. So at This moment ETH has Good opportunities to take Some profits.
Indeed i can start putting larger or more important more different orders. My balance already grew with 44%. This also means my daily profit goal increased with 44%. But well making 1.44$ daily is pretty much the same as making 1$.

Havent told you you should check or follow This thread daily. The compounding only had a maximum of effect when doing iT longterm. IT has no use to compound 100$ and 1% daily for 2 months cause iT would only be a couple 100$.

Day 13


Not much traded today so far. I have been out with the family. But this morning i placed some orders on ETH which got filled. I made some small profits.

I took the advice of one of the guys that replied on my topic. Today my balance grew to almost 150$. I used 10$ to purchase some BNB to cover my fees. It will leave 10$ less for trading but the discount on the fees will cover this by far.

To clarify I had more winning trades today but this one is the first one that is making me profits again. Earlier trades made me about 5$ profits today but I bought some BNB to cover fees and receive discount on them.



So I actually made about 6$ profits today which brings my balance at 150$. But little less than 10$ is in BNB to cover fees and to receive the 25% discount on fees. But of course also this is included in the total profits cause the BNB are bought with profits made during this contest.

Please do not take my results for granted. During this first 13 days of trading I am on a very good winning streak which has lead to an average profit of almost 4% daily. But well as long as I can keep making this profits you will not hear me complaining. The more I can gain daily to faster I will achieve my goal or be able to cover possible loosing days that will come for sure.

After 13 days of trading I managed to get my balance up with a great 50%. Never thought I could do this in only 13 days. But as I said you don't here me complaining. I ma more than happy.

Normally my balance with 1% daily and 13 days of trading would have to be 113.80$ to achieve my goal to end with 3,778$ at the end of the challenge. But by having very great days I managed to get 150.31$ which means in only 13 days I managed to reach the goal I normally would have to achieve after 43 days. This means in only 13 days I am 30 days ahead of my compounding schedule.

I don't mind to always visit in this thread every day because I want to learn something from him. He shows to us that with $100, he can increase his balance with only 1% and it proves to us that nothing impossible to trade using a limit money as long as we are not greed and we don't expect to make a big profit in a day. Day 14

Morning guys. I adjusted my strategy a little. Do not get me wrong I am still doing the 1% daily and 100% compounding. But by making 50% profits in less than 14 days it allows me to add something to my strategy. Normally I close my trading day in USDT and go to sleep. I still keep funds in USDT at the end of a trading day but since yesterday I use a part of my balance to set some buy orders around the 24h low and rest of my balance I spread 5-10% below the 24h low.

For the first night I did it paid of. ETH had his 24h low around 143.5$ So I decided to put up a couple buy orders around this amount. I practically knew it would test this level again. But to be sure I also put up buy orders down to 135$ IF it would break the 24h low. But it didn't. Around 143 it bounced back up and 2 buy orders got filled. This morning I sold the 2 buy orders around the 153$ level which lead to a 5$ profit on a 150$ balance, which is 3.5% of my total balance. So actually while I was sleeping I already crushed my daily goal. So all trades I will do today will only lead to more profits.
So its going to be another bright day without any stress to reach my daily goal

This was another great day. Beside hitting a nice profit overnight I made an additional 4.9$ profit today. So almost a total of 10$ profits in 1 day with only a 150$ trading balance which brings my total on 159.99$.

Today was day 14 of trading. So according to the compounding model I should have a balance of 114.94$



My actual balance is at 159.99$ which is the balance of day 47 of the compounding model.




So a short summary after 2 weeks of trading. I am on a nice winning streak. However this results can't be taken as a guarantee. I should admit I have been on a good run the entire 14 days. But I can only be happy with the results I achieved. I have a nice balance but numbers aren't important for me. The most important for me is that I am 34 days ahead of my compounding schedule. Not the trading but the compounding is the most important factor of this challenge. The further we are in the challenge the more effect the compounding will have on the balance.

Yeah i perfectly understand that. Thats why i put only small amounts at night and i placed my lowest orders 10-12% lower than the value when i went to bed. So i put up orders down to 135$. At This moment i am feeling pretty confident that value Will not drop that significantly because of the upcoming fork. So i do not expect ETH to drop more than 10% overnight. As soon as we are close to the fork or after the fork then there can be a massive correction. But at This time ETH Will generally keep going up.

as soon as a buy order got filled I set a sell order 1% above the buy. So if I buy at 150 then I put up a sell at 156.5 more or less. I always check if there are huge walls around that. So most of the times I put sell orders for 1% profit. But when I am behind laptop and I see the price pumping then I cancel the sell and try to take a little more.

I am on my way. closed another trade with 0.4$ profits. So total for today is 1.01$. Only 0.6$ more needed to achieve my 1%. And have 2 open positions in ETH.
Yeah I saw LTC is going up cause I am focussing more on ETH at this moment due to the upcoming fork. ETH is bouncing much harder at this moment.

As soon as my balance reaches 500 or more I will diversify over more coins but at this moment sticking to 1 trading pair isn't that bad at all

thx bro. I do not use many more indicators. Beside the Bollinger I only keep an eye on the market depth to track buy and sell walls. But beside those 2 things I do not use any other indicator. I even never do a proper analysis of market or a coin. I do not need all those tools and analysis to achieve my 1% daily goal. Only me, my laptop and the Bollinger. 

Sorry to hear you do not belief I will achieve my goal. But this only motivates me to keep crushing. Within a couple of months the effect of the compounding will reflect more than at this moment. As soon as this happens it will go very fast.

I believe we can use only one indicator to analyze the market and actually, we don't need many indicators. I check by myself using Bollinger Bands, as long as we can find a good price to buy, and not too greedy to chase the profit, we could make the profit and it's not depends on the trend because once the trend is down, there surely will go up again, and it's only a matter of time. And then it's related with the patients we had, and if we can patient for a while, I am sure the order sell will be filled. I also try with some buy and sell order, and it works perfectly using Bollinger Bands only.

Second option:

I am mostly they entire time when I am trading behind my laptop. So I place every buy and sell manually. The only riskmanagement I use is to diversify my orders at different levels with smaller parts of my balance. Because the strategy I am using isn't 100% accurate. So if I buy into the market and 5 min later the coin keeps dropping then I enter in multiple lower limits as well. Beside that I do not have other risk management strategy

Use support and resistance as guidance. Use bolinger bands on higher time frames to make sure you going in right direction.
Also check "bolinger bands" strategy and maybe employ this as extra help to make your trades booletproof.

Gonna put my other trades in tomorrow. Laptop is in shop for maintenance. Dont like doing it on phone. I have a couple open positions on ETH. Hd some good entry levels. Just waiting for that one bounce to grab some percentages.

Hi guys normally I give daily updates. But I am also just human. I got stuck into ETH/USDT and after 24 hours the price havent recovered yet to my profit level. Sometimes I close those trades with a small loss but because of the upcoming for I am still confident that the price will recover to my desired profit level. So thats why I decided to keep the trades open. This trades will be considered as trades from the day 16 of my challenge. I will post when some sells get hit.


Closing my day 16. After get stuck in ETH for 2 entire days I yesterday decided to sell with a break even. I held some ETH bought at 149 but also at 144 and 142 which led me sell everything at 147 without a loss of funds. So at this moment I still hold 161$ in my balance. Tomorrow I will start day 17 but maybe I will already place some orders today. If so I will start day 17 already today

Yeah a skipped day does not count as a trading day. I will effectively trade for 365 days. So I will keep sticking to the plan.

You should really try the micro profits. 5$ a day with 100$ is very hard. You should set your goal at 1% daily and follow the compounding calendar I am using to set your daily goals. Hi guys after a couple days off I am back in business. Just turned on my laptop and ready to find some spots.

Like mentioned before sometimes its not about many trades to make but just find the good spot. Today I only made 1 trade so far. I bought ADA in the dip @ 0.04002$ For about 40$. And I put up some more buys from 0.04 until 0.03850$. Only with a 40$ spot I made 3$ (almost 2% of total balance) profits. So people saying 1% a day is difficult.... another day proven it is not that hard

Does this strategy have any connection with reversed aggressive martingale? Buying more can decrease the possibility of stop out but it also reduces profitability of trades in same time. What if main market trend keeps going against your trades?

With the bigger balance, I am sure you can do that easily especially when there is a good moment to buy and sell. So you can get relax after your 1 trade only in this day lol. I only follow what I think it's important for me so I can get something benefits or learn from him. I see that he is trying to increase his balance with only chasing 1% profit constantly. It is difficult in my opinion because you know that greediness will always attract and drag you to the deeper side and will trap you if you are not aware.

I have a set up at my homeoffice with multiple and large screens so I just follow a bunch of markets at the same time. I prefer to trade the bigger coins against USDT but actually it doesn't matter. Because when BTC/USDT is dipping most of the other pairs are making the same dip, but on the higher volume coins you have the chance it bounces back up faster. Previous week I also noticed if for example BTC/USDT makes a dip of 1-2% it takes a little longer they go back up 1-2% compared to low value coins like XRP or ADA. I also trade ETH some days ago but that was because of the upcoming fork. I almost knew 100% price would pump up.

But anyway it actually doesn't matter what coin to trade for this strategy, but preferable high volume coins.

Stick to liquid coins. BNB/ETH/BTC something which is highly liquid. that way you can esily get in and out without worrying about slippage.

You are moving fast than you can be expected and meantime, you still have much time to get another 1% profit from daily trade. Maybe you can check LTC, ETH, TRX, EOS, XRP against USDT. I see some of that coins have a fast moving but still, needs time to search which coin to choose. LTC get dumps too deep, ETH looks on the sideway, TRX trying to increase after getting dump too, EOS is on the slow mode to increase, while XRP doesn't have a good move although it's on the way to increase back.

Day 21

Its not about chasing huge profits. Its all about picking good spots and chase multiple smaller profits and get out of the trade as soon as possible. If you for example can make a trade that profits you 0.50$ on a 175$ balance than you made almost 0,3% profits. Do that 3-4 times a day and you achieve your daily goal as well. You do not always need to chase that 1% in a single trade.

A small trade which made me a little over 0.5% on this trade and 0.25-0.3% on my overall balance. It is only a 0.48$ profit but well a profit is a profit


Another small trade on ADA/USDT pair. My sell goal got reached in only 10 minutes and made me another 0.63$ (or 0.35%) profit on my entire balance. Another such trade and I will have reached my daily goal again without any difficulty or many effort.


Another small trade which made 0.31$ profits within a 10 minute timeframe. Almost at my daily goal


Another one for about 0.30$ profits. Now it took about an hour. There was a giant sell wall that needed to be crushed first that took some time.





This trade took some longer. I picked up this spot before it started dropping further. but as you see I had balance left and had more profitable trades while this one was stuck for 2 hours. Again 0.40$ profits made on this trade.

1% Goal achieved today With above trades I again reached my 1% minimum profit for today. We are trading 21 days and have a 100% succesrate on closing trading days with the daily goal achieved. Most of the days I even crushed the daily goal.

Like everyone knows the power to succeed in this challenge and to achieve the ultimate goal of 3,778% profits is the compounding. The power of reinvesting is going to have a huge effect on the succes rate of this challenge. At this moment I have been trading for 23 days and the compounding calendar shows us we should have had a balance of 125.70$



...But the challenge is going this good that I already achieved the 60 day goal already on day 23. This means I am 37 days ahead of my compounding schedule to achieve my goal. And this is very very good news.
- I am well ahead on my schedule so if there would be some days that I do not achieve the goal or even make some losses, this profits can be used to cover this.

1. 80% of the time markets do not have a real trend and they move between the upper and lower Bollinger band. So you will notice a lot that the price is waving between those bands. as soon it touches the lower band it will wave back up until the middle line or upper Bollinger and then reverse back down. So I 80% of the cases after a candle touches the lowest band the price will move back up. It is a very accurate strategy but not a 100% guaranteed.
For example if bollingers are squeezing together and the candle breaks down the lower band then its very likely we get a major dip that wil go way below the bollinger. So when I see a squeeze and the candles go down then I wait to enter the market cause likely it will go down further.
But for the strategy you will notice that in 80% of the cases price bumps back up as soon as it touches the lower band or breaks it with a 'flash crash'. So it is a very good tool to make some profits. You will not make huge profits but profits between 0.5 and 2% can be made easily by using this strategy.

2. In this strategy I do not use stop loss. In this strategy it is important to not use your entire balance in 1 position. Cause you never know. If you buy a dip that breaks the bollinger but the market decides to keep dropping then you must have some balance left to buy extra. Stupid example.
I buy 5 XXX coin @ 1$ per coin for a total of 5$ but price keep dropping
Then I buy 10 XXX coin @ 0.9$ for a total of 9$ but again it keeps dropping
Then I buy 10 XXX coin @ 0.8$ for a total of 8$

So now I have 25 coins for a total of 22$ which means my average buy price is 0.88$ which mean I will start making profit of price goes back higher than 0.88$ even on the coins that I bought at 1$. Lets say price goes back up to 0.93$. Then you almost make 5% profits even on the coins you bought at 1$ cause you decreased the break even point by purchasing more coins.

3. In this challenge my goal is to increase my USDT value. So yes in this challenge USDT is my base currency. So at the end of a trading day I will have USDT in my balance and no crypto. But this strategy can also be applied if you want to increase your crypto value

Like I stated many times. I do not go all in in a single position. I always keeps balance aside for the times it keeps dropping. But this strategy has nothing to do with the coin. This strategy can be applied on any coin.
The only reason I pick such coins like cardano, xrp is because they have a very low value and when they dip the go back up faster compared to BTC. I showed that in one of my replies here in the forum. I showed a picture of BTC/USDT and ADA/USDT which made the same dip at the same time. For BTC it took over 1 hour to recover 1% But ADA only took 5-10 minutes

I think we can see something in the next weeks since bitcoin still on the down or stagnant price. I check twice, that bitcoin cannot increase higher, and it's on the horizontal line, but I hope I am wrong.

And the daily trend still on the down and there is no signal to increase, but once again, I hope my prediction is wrong.



But the big question in my head, is bitcoin is going to down below than $3300 or even lower? We will see it later.

Its a nice challenge. It help keep people think of good things about bitcoin investments and not just the negative side of the coin like volatility and other things not so good. Anyway,  I may have problem with your idea though it seems really possible. The exchange that we have in my area had implemented higher transaction fees which I think that with just a percent increase would make me loose the gain. I don't think there'd be much of a difference honestly. OP doesn't really bank on large swings, he day-trades on small corrections. Those happen no matter the trend, and as long as he keeps timing them correctly, he should be able to keep it up.

Hi guys, I am back again. I have been ill for an entire week. Previous 2 days I went better but decided to wait for trading until I got back 100% fit. So now I am back guys. We just gonna resume where we left.

Small update regarding to the balance. Last update showed us I closed with 192$. But I got a couple open positions between the 0.036 and 0.037 on ADA. They got all filled and got sold around the 0.04$ range for some nice profits.

So we are commencing again after my week of absence with the following balance. As you see, we crushed the 100% increase of value within a 1 month period. This certainly isn't normal and I am surprised I did. But well we should be happy and just keep doing our very best to achieve more good results.
So hopefully no reflects his own efforts with the results I made. I had the luck to get in a couple good positions during the first 26 days where I took multiple profits above 10% on a trade. For example once a buy order got filled when I left to the shop for 30 minutes. After I got home order was filled and the coin suddenly got pumped 12%.

I can have a look at the other coin. But for USDT pairs iT doesnt matter that much because ‘generally’ iT follows the trend of Btc/usdt. If Btc spikes, other usdt markets do the same. So for me actually iT does not matter which coin to day trade if the goal is to increase the fiat value.
In one of my other accounts where my goal is to increase the Btc value i trade more different coins in Btc pairs cause its much more different.

Yeah iT has been a wonderful first month. I would not have expected to have my account doubled in first month.

Compared to my compounding schedule to achieve the goal i should only have Made about 35$ profits. But well i do not complain. After less than a month trading i have the same goal achieved like i should have at day 74. So i am 40+ days ahewd of my schedule which makes me more than happy.

Yes, yes, yes. Today we are trading for exact 1 month. It took some longer cause I have been sick but today we will exactly have traded for 30 days

My intention was and still is to achieve the 3778% profits in 365 days. This result I should get if I make an average of 1% daily for 365 days with a 100% compounding method the entire year without withdrawing a single penny.

What should my result be after 30 days of trading?

To keep on track to achieve my goal my balance should be 134.77$ after 30 days of trading. Lets compare this with my current results and balance at the end of this trading day and see what the conclusion of month 1 is.

Summary:

According to above picture my balance should have been 134.77$ on the 30th trading day. But what we notice in the screenshot of the balance we close the first trading month with a stunning 212$ This means we made over 100% profits in only 1 month.

what does this means for the compounding schedule?

If you look at the screenshot below you will see that my current balance is 'equal' to day 75-76 of schedule. This means I am 45 days or 1.5 months ahead of the schedule. Firstly this is a great achievement but for me its more important for long term. If I can keep this up I will reach my goal much earlier and I will have more days, weeks left to keep applying the strategy and to keep increasing the balance to crush the goal. If I can maintain the 1% daily average from now until day 365 because I am ahead of the schedule means my balance will almost be 6,000$ or 755 more than the actual goal. It can even be much more if I can have multiple days that I make more than 1% profits. But don't start dreaming now. Still 335 days to go. Time will tell how this will end

It does not matter what the market will do and what news will come. I can make 1% daily no matter if BTC is 100$ or 20,000$. So to achieve this goal has nothing to do with the rise or fall of the market. You can see on my results from first month. BTC did no significant jumps as well as other coins but still managed to double my balance.

When I see his trade, I think he doesn't use all day long to see the market, and he only uses a little time to trade and try to make a profit. When we can take a small profit, then I think we don't have to wait for a long time because a small profit will happen after the price is down. But it's not guaranteed to see this will always happen.

Yes exactly,

I focus on one pair, mostly a pair with a lower value like for example BTT , ADA , TRX.
After that I just patiently wait until I notice that candles are moving to the lower Bollinger Band
When the candles hit the bollinger or break it then I put a buy order.
When a buy order gets hit I just put in sell orders. Buy value multiplied by a number from 0.005 up to 0.01. Then I will make a net profit between 0.4 and 1%.

But most important is not to go all in on 1 entry. Only use 5 to max 10% of your balance. You can get more in a trade as soon as you fully understand how it works. In this way you always have funds left. 85% of the times the candles bounce back up after touching or crossing the lower bollinger. But in some cases we get a (mini)crash, mostly after a bollinger squeeze. So always make sure you have funds left to enter multiple times more if the coin keeps dropping

Above steps can be done multiple times every single day.

I do not agree with what some guys are replying. They say I can succeed if I carefully choose the coin I am trading. I don't think they get the idea and do not understand how I am trading. It doesn't matter what coin to choose. I mostly switch between BTT, TRX and ADA but in fact I could pick any pair with a decent volume that I want.

Beside trading I have a hodl portfolio as well. But lot of investors get in the market and speculate if it will go up and down. And maybe like you are in loss. I am never in loss because I invest in crypto every week. Every week I have a fixed amount I use to purchase coins to add to my hodl portfolio. So I am winning all the time because I approach this holding in crypto and do not look at the fiat value unlike I do in my trading. My trading provides me my daily living and is my fulltime job. so with my trading I work on fiat value and goal is to increase this on a daily basis.

Yes those old coins may have promising market gains, but these days while bear market was still going to pull down the price due to panic holder, I think it not easy to achieve better gains. Probably during the days of bull run we might see our tokens doubled it's price and unfortunately these days it's an impossible matter to see. Choosing those right coins is our previledge to do so, that's why it's suggested to hold for long term prior we can enjoy the benefits after all.

In the past several days my account is down some, not much, but it is not increasing. I have had some wins but in the past several days I have lost mostly on the pairs Quad is suggesting: ADA/USDT, TRX/USDT, and today's loss is coming from BTT/USDT. I am following Quad's rules the best that I know how. I have learned a lot. But it is not a 100% air tight method. I like this 1% method but it can use some more constructive criticism.

I am placing orders and then the pair's value just drops and keeps going. Then if I view a vaster picture of the pairs performance over more than just the 5 minute candlesticks it starts to be more revealing. The price drops, then my orders hang on, then they hang on overnight, then Bitcoin price drops thus it drops my total Binance balance because the orders did not close and then did not complete the day back with all funds being USDT and BNB. In this bear market, if you do not close out all your orders before you log out then your are at the whims of BTC prices, not sturdy with USDT.

Your principle  is the one who's giving you success that you have right now, sorting few coins and stick with them, waiting for the good sign before buying and patiently waiting just in case market will not favor you, then buy more if you seen that the value fall more trusting your knowledge and
understanding the risk, that's the point that we needs to learn from yourstyle.

Believing with your system and follow every pattern that you created, that's how the plan will workout and bring you success.

Well, for one; you obviously are not following the rules (pro-active), you're following the examples (re-active)... big difference (between profit and loss too).
 
One of the rules is to always leave your balance in FIAT (or as close to it as possible, like USDT) when you are AFK (whether sleeping or whatever) and you say: "The price drops, then my orders hang on, then they hang on overnight [...]". So: no, you are not following the rules...

But if you are in a loss then iT means you sell at a loss. If you buy a coin only use 10-15% of your balance. If the coin keeps dropping then buy more of the same coin until iT starts increasing again. This week i also had an order in BTT and suddenly Btt dropped 5-7%. But i just bought more and more and sold with profits.
If you ate loosing with my strategy iT means you sell in loss. As simple as that. I never sell in loss but when s coin keeps dropping after buying then i just buy more

Then i do not know how you apply your bollingers. I see 100+ opportunities DAILY to take 0.5 to 1% or more profits.

All the green areas Are possible 0.5 to 1% profitable opportunities. This are 15+ opportunities and only on 3 different markets. So I have no clue why you are not hitting o.5% profitable trades. But now I do understand that you are not making any profit and your balance is going down.

You place trades for 0.125% profits but you already need to pay a fee of at least 0.075% when you buy coins and 0.075% when you sell. So your total expense is 0.15% (if you use BNB to pay fees, otherwise its 2 times 0.10%) In this way you are loosing money cause your profits do not cover your total fee. I already told you that in a private message. But if you do not take my advice then you will keep loosing money. I told you multiple times multiply your buy value with 1.005 or 1.01 for a profit between 0.4 and 1%. Its just a matter of taking advice and listen to what people say. You say o.5% profitable trades dont get hit and hit them every single day multiple times a day.

I do not calculate BNB fees. Every trader on binance knows the 0.10% fee on buy and sell and 0.075% if you use BNB. So if you calculate logically you know you spend 0.15% on fees so it has no use you set sell orders of 0.125% cause you will loose money on your trades cause your fees aren't covered. I told you multiple times to multiply your buy value with 1.005. Then you always are sure your fees are covered and you take profits.

You must check the general fee rules on Binance. Then you would know that by using BNB your fee decrease to 0.075%. So it is normal that total fee on a buy/sell trade is 0.15%. So that also is obvious you set sell orders that are at least 0.25 but you can easily set sells at 0.5% to grab a net profit of 0.35%.

You need to read properly. I said to multiply with 1.005 not 1.05. Multiplying with 1.05 then you calculate a 5% profit.

This was my goal last year and doing paper trading it worked well about an 80% success rate. However I had issues with real trading on binance. Basically dust and not been about to sell all the coins bought. I would buy 12443alts but then be told when I went to sell them I could only sell 12400 of them. This meant in some cased even though I was only chasing a 1-2% gain I had to wait til I got the 5% or more in order to gain that profit in BTC

I'm following OP and of course, hoping he does well, but this thread in no way indicates anything... except that if you are strict with your regime and have the discipline to stick to your guns instead of making emotional trades, then you can never lose more than you're willing to, and you can book in profits with a bit of patience.

And trying to implemented what did you do in this thread for the past 2 days, just using BB and buy when it breaks or touch the low. 1% daily seems possible so far.

But I tried to compound BTC instead.

1. The middle band or the upper band to take a profit? how did I know if the price will touch the upper band so I can maximize my profit?

2. When I must cut losses in this strategy? Sometimes the price is always going down. When avg down is too much and I must cut losses?

3. Are they a standard time to enter and exit the market? I mean when I bought the dip, should I sell whether I profit or not in like 1 hour after I buy?

How? Consistency. It's possible to achieve what OP stated. OP even have more than 1%++ profit in some lucky days.

In the last few days, I see coin/token go from 9k to 20k++ sats. That's like 100%++ in just one day. Here the screenshot of the price change on binance today:

If the OP on this thread can achieve 135% in just 35 days with just 1% capital increase once a day, I think it's possible even more to have 135% profit if we have this kind of market again (see the ss above)

For a veteran, it is possible to reach that profits. But an amateur trader like me, I think it is impossible. However, if the market is at the bullish period then it may become easy to achieve. Hey everyone,

I haven't been around for some time. I wished I was able to continue this challenge cause I really was sure I was able to succeed. But 3.5 months ago I lost my wife and I stayed behind with my 2 children. Since then I just am not motivated and do not have the strength to pick up my trading activities again.
Hopefully I can pick up where I left and some time and get this challenge completed.

Its just fine.Its not really compulsory or necessary for you to make this challenge to be complete.There are more important things in life rather than on this thread you had created.
Sad to hear about your wife and for now just focus on things specially with your 2 children.You can anytime come back to this forum if everything goes well already.

Yes he is a scammer, i was in his hometown today for getting my money back , but he is hiding somewhere in the Netherlands
He has 24 hours time for paying me back, is that not the case i hope the cops find him before we do..

And he did not lost his wife, thats a typical story from a professional crook

Can you please enlighten us on how you lost your money to him so that we can avoid any of such things from happening to any of us following here.
you could also post some proof if you have it.

So are you saying that he is trying to pull a scam here by posting a sob story? You already have 2 posts and yet there's no details on what you are claiming. So far OP has not posted anything that sounds scammy to me unless I missed a post where he tried to ask for a fee for his tips in trading as he said on the first page, he and his friends plans to put up a service in giving tips.

I was just a beginner with crypto and found this challenge and strategie from quadspoker
I though maybe because its on a big bitcoin forum and he looked a respected member it could be a true story, so i talked with him in private and he said he would make from a minimum of 100 euro a big amount just for 5 procent comission. Oke i was blinded by his story about his villa in Spain and it looked very easy to earn mony with crypto. I payed him 500 euro he sended me a contract with his false adress but his real name was on it. After that he helped me with his strategie and seded me every week a printscreen with his results. But in the meanwhile he also was telling me that he was busy with other projects, like a hilo bot, a mining pool, etc etc .. so he did not asked me more money but he jus wanted too lure more money out of my pockets with his bullshit projects, because hey why would a succesful investor who has one of the highest tiers at Binance ( like he said), what means you must own 40000 btc and 8000 BNB or more wasting time with other bullshit projects.
Also i ignored a sign from potential scam in his challenge topic on page 5 where he posted a screenshot from his smarthphone with information from a provider in the Netherlands telfort nl, while he was pretending that he was living in Spain, In fact he was the whole time just in the Netherlands.
And now 3 weeks ago he did not answering my post on telegram anymore , for me the sign to clear this story out to the bone, i searched his name on the internet. And i found his adress in Belgium, i jumped in my car drove to that adress whit the intention to getting my money back , but on his last adress he did not live anymore, he rented that house before, but now there was living an other couple, and i talked with that person and he also knew to tell me what crook Quadspoker was,
I know now a little more and the real story is a little different then his succes story here on this forum,

Do you think i am wasting my time here, no i just wanna warn other people for QUADSPOKER and other scammers and thiefs who just want your money,
Dont trapp in the fall like i and many others did and will do, they just want your money,
if you wanna make money with crypto YOU have to do it .

Ihave some documents but they are in dutch, but i am 200 procent sure this QP is a big liar and a thief ...

That was so bad that you trusted a stranger with your money on the internet. If you go one trusting people like this over here then you are bound to loose a lot of money.

However you scam accusations should look complete with screenshots of chat logs and payment proof(TX hash) if you want people to believe your story.

Completely agree to this post. If this scam accusation is serious it should be with all info showing tx id, screenshots of telegram convo and other details. Once all this is done we can red tag him to prevent him from stealing funds from others.
