bminer 1080ti 7.0-7.4 G/s 925mV ~ 180w.
If regulated through Pl. (75%) then the voltage per core is above 1000mV, then the video card does not work well. Lower consumption is higher hashrate, does not sound likely, but it is a fact! Deliver a fixed voltage of 925 mV and add overclock on the core, which would be about the same value as with 75% pl.
I compared the bminer and gminer on a grinmint bminer gives a larger hash, but a rather high percentage of rejects. The gminer gives a slightly smaller hash rate, but this is offset by the lack of rejects. It should be borne in mind that the gminer loads the processor more than the bminer. The next test that I’ll run is bminer on f2pool (bminer has fewer rejects on this bullet) and grinmint on gminer. 2 identical rig. I like both the miner and the competition between them.

In our mining experience ... Less rejects is MUCH more favourable than higher hash. We (specifically I) have been a miner since the beginning, so in my books, gminer with less rejects will amount to a much better track record than a higher hashing miner with much more rejects. As I look at this in the coming days, it is specifically for the CWI IntraMining System, so I would only every go for the most optimized version. These versions of course would need to work with Fedora 27/29 x64 OS as all our miners are based on Fedora 27 currently, with a couple CentOS 7 and Fedora 29 miners as well. Seems you get good figures. What cards are these 1080TI? #crysx

Awesome! I heard about grin a few months ago and almost forgot about it. It's still extremely different from what I'm used to, what with there being no addresses etc, but I'm excited to learn more. Time for a crash course before the 15th.

Is there an ANN thread in bitcointalk.org or the official grin forum?
because I feel uneasy of trusting them without any user comments.
Could be a virus chest.
Well I haven't found one, but I think that GrinPro's team is related to Ace miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5097693.0Both miners passed my security check, but that doesn't really say much.

If I had 1080 I would send them to c31 =) I have only 1070 and 1070Ti. 8 * 1070Ti bminer - 36.6 / gminer 34.8 - 900mV Regarding rejects. Bminer has a problem not on all pools. Therefore, it is not correct to say that he is worse / better than the gminer. At the moment, both miners are actively developing. You have to choose the pool and miner that will be better for you.

I will ask our Developer and see what could be setup, and if not too much issue, maybe add it to our Citrine Mine also. Seems to be a great many mining, so it would be interesting to see. #crysx

The Mimblewimble Protocol and Grin received a lot of attention from Bitcoin maximalists, even from Theymos and Cobra! It is quite interesting what will other maximalists will say in the end ("another Bitcoin wannabe shitcoin" ). For now, it's quiet.

From the little I have played around with core and memory settings I feel that: - Core clock increases G/s a little (say +100, +200 is unstable). - Memory clock does not, so not so memory sensitive imo. - Decreasing power limit doesn't save too much energy for the G/s lost & neither does the CPU offload option. Running at +100 core for NVDIA & stock for AMD (unstable and no real increase whatever you do). Bob, play with the core clock instead of the memory clock & also check your inbox

Risky. I would not do it. Would only ever host a wallet on a machine I have physical access to. Theoretically, it should be "OK" so long as you don't get silly with your security and get keylogged or something stupid, but again, you risk taunting the happy fun ball. I just planning to make a wallet and receive a grin coin to my temporary wallet and transfer them to exchange site after I receive them. I don't have plan to use it for a long time if they don't develop an online or lite wallet for windows I'll end up hosting a Linux in google or aws.
Let me also ask about the maturity of the coin because it's been 24 hours my coins still in the unconfirmed state? I'm using grin-pool.org as my pool.

I just started mining Grin in grinmint.com (Win10, AMD). I've created account in BitForex, as this seemed like the most straight-forward way to get a wallet address where I can send the mined coins (when confirmed etc). Can somebody who has already went through that explain the process - once there are mined coins in GrinMint, how to get them in BitForex with min.risk?
Another question - I saw some topics for Bminer being the fastest miner. I have AMD cards, so it doesn't work with them, right?
RX 580, 8GB gives me ~ 1,5 gps - is that OK, good or bad?
W10, RX 580, GrinGold Miner 7.2 app. 1,7gps Then probably you need to specify the manufacturer of the video card and the clock core/memory. My Asus STRIX RX480 8GB: Memory timing - PBE 1.6.7 One click timing patch Core clock - 1310Mhz Mem clock - 2000Mhz PL - 0% Win10 64bit; Adrenalin 8.6.1. Hashrate:GrinGoldMiner 2.8b stable - ~1.76 g/s (1.73-1.79); GrinPro 1.0 - ~2.00 g/s (1.98-2.01).

If you're in this for the price right now, I might recommend starting a new thread speculating about that. It is risky involving yourself with a new project, and we are far too early to gauge price. As some Wall Observers have noted (Hairy ?), it is currently over-priced, given the constant emission rate and inflationary factors. A Grin wall observation thread sounds too boring, a flat line or a down trend while supply builds ahead of user rate would just be full oh negative memes. Given the inflation in grin project (which im honestly really like guys), I think that most likely the price will stabilize after a year or two and then there will be an increase. But if you really believe in a project, it's never too early to buy. Remember the price chart of eth, he also fell at the very beginning and only then flew into space.

Price won't be going sky high with this one, I expect a lower price coin with it's large supply. Agreed with you supply will keep increasing so high so it become hard task for this coin to make maintain its market cap. I also think it has big chance to drop and we will see this on low level.

Here are my Windows settings for 1080tis. As someone else said, memory speed doesn't seem to matter much, so my memory clocks are probably overkill. Getting a little over 7 g/s on bminer, with 1.3% rejected shares.
