The next T20 match between India and Bangladesh looks doubtful. The match is supposed to take place in Rajkot. But the problem is that Cyclone Maha is expected to make a landfall near Rajkot in the next few days and very heavy rains are expected for the entire week. Chances are that the match will be washed out without a single ball bowled. BTW, the third match is scheduled at Nagpur, and hopefully we will get a result from that one.

So there is a real chance that Bangladesh can win the series or draw the series if the second T20 is washed out and it is a huge win for Bangladesh consider the bookies point of view and i wonder what the odds would have being so Bangladesh to win the series  , since i do not wage a bet in T20 matches because of the unpredictability i usually do not bother most of the time but curious to know about the odds.

I hope we have the match but the mother nature does not want it then we can not do anything about it. Anyway, I think India will crash the Bangladesh team in the next match.

Won't the t20 series be of 3 matches? So, it's still far away to predict that Bangladesh will win the series. If second t20 washes out, India still have the chance to fight in the 3rd match and get a draw series at least.

I know. By any chance if we do not see the 2nd T20I is happening then we can either send the coins back to the senders addresses or we can reserve it for the next match. We are never out of options of course.

I am interested if anyone is going for Bangladesh in the late minute. Imagine if Bangladesh wins by any chance and if anyone goes with Bangladesh then they will have really a big win judging from the two Indian stake so far :-P

Unless something is very much time sensitive, I always use 1 sat/byte fees :-P
Everyone is welcome to use that. I have this bc1 format address which means the fees will be lesser than the usual if you use 1 sat/Byte. For my tx it cost me only 141 sat LOL

If this really happens then it a good news for Bangladesh. Bangladesh won the last match against India in the first Time on their cricket career. Then if the upcoming match will abandoned , Bangladesh will achieve  another records that without Two Top player they fight against India and win/drawn the series. But it is nothing but imagination until it happens.

I think the alert is for tomorrow morning and would last only tomorrow and could weaken thereafter. Maybe being an optimistic fan if the super sobers do their job then we might see atleast some play. We still have around 72 hours until the match starts. If there is not that much devastation by storm we would have a great game. Just being optimistic

If this really happens then it a good news for Bangladesh. Bangladesh won the last match against India in the first Time on their cricket career. If the second T20 is abandoned then Bangladesh will draw the series against India even if India wins the last match and if that is washed out then they will win the series by winning the first T20 and it all depends on how the second T20 goes and weather is a serious threat because of cyclone.

Tomorrow we have England and New Zealand and with the series leveled this is an important match and next we have Australia and Pakistan and i am going with Australia to win the match.

Agree with this too that our batting lineup wasn't good as well but still I think we should have gotten good early wickets against Bangladesh. Bowling and Fielding are two department which disappointed more than batting in last match.

The Indian team is over-dependent on Kohli and Sharma these days. If these 2 guys get out, the remaining players falter. Bowling wise, Chahal bowled decently while the rest were bad. They need to play better Cricket in my opinion.

You both have good point. One way or another either of them keeps up the scoring which gives less oppy to others. Perhaps bringing down change in batting order and pushing those faces who had less opportunities to play more might help? Still having one or two experienced players is important to keep a side a little bit strong and challenging.

I think it's because rest of the team hasn't got enought chances to play. It's because most of the times top 3 bat so well that they take it until the end of the game. Moreover due to the game being of shorter version there isn't much time for lower order batsmen to settle. This is why you would see a lot of players in top form when IPL just ends but most of them get rusted after 6 months of IPL because they don't get much chances of playing.

The BCCI has banned Indian players from T20 leagues operated by the other cricket boards. Although this was done in order to reduce the TV revenue for the other boards, some of the impact may fall on the Indian players as well. Other players get a chance to indulge in T20 format regularly, as they play 2-3 different leagues. But for the Indians, their T20 experience is just limited to the IPL and the T20 matches involving the national team.

There is an Indian domestic T20 competition, called Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. But the quality of cricket is not that great, and usually most of the Indian players skip these matches. This season's tournament will be starting on 8th November (three days from now), and a total of 38 teams have confirmed their participation in this year's edition.

Wow NZ beat ENG by 14 runs and are leading the series 2-1. Until over 15, ENG were in full command , scoring boundaries in every over and looking to win the match. Then came the streak of losing wickets  Great comeback from NZ

England was chasing the score well but then they lost that completely and pressure and inexperience was the real problem when you are chasing huge targets and New Zealand was able to pick wickets at regular interval during the final phase of the innings as England lost 5 wickets in the final three overs, i was expecting England to win the match considering the way they were having wickets in hand but then everything collapsed. If England was having their main players i think they would have chased this score easily and Ben Stokes won them many games from a tight situation like these and he could have made a difference.

Yes if that happened and 2nd gets washout than India would be under pressure because it would be a do or die game for them and this means Bangladesh would not lose the series atleast . Hopefully we will have a 2nd match and a result as well .

I didn't atleast since I didn't found odds that good and it was quite risky considering the lineup India had. Lucky for me I didn't bet. I would have bet if we have a good bowling lineup and perhaps another experienced batsman in the middle.

I didn't bet any. in the last match, if I did, I would certainly go with India regardless of the odd.
Suddenly the cricket community has been much active. Let me share the long story short-
1. India is lacking of bowlers.
2. Krunal Pandya has ruined everything.
3. Royse is hosting a mutual bet pool for the next match. (link attached)
4. Cyclone may attack next match.
5. India is looking for replacement but no one better is there in the squad.
6. Bangladesh has no suppoters, Little Mouse disappeared and came back yesterday.

There are many who lost their bets and some were cursing the Indian selectors for putting up a weak team and resting all the major players  , fielding was sub par and they dropped a catch at a crucial time and if you are not able to hang on to the chances then there is no way they are going to win.

Yes if that happened and 2nd gets washout than India would be under pressure because it would be a do or die game for them and this means Bangladesh would not lose the series atleast . Hopefully we will have a 2nd match and a result as well .

If the second T20 gets washed out then Bangladesh will level the series and i think this will be their first series win in India and it will be a big accomplishment for Bangladesh and their fans.

I could not watch any of the match of this series. But this? this is the true strength of our world champion LOL. I do not think England has a chance to win the series. Coming from behind is not going to play easy for England.

lucky you it was fun game tbh and chances are Indian might go with the same team for next game and i don't mind that if they do. They need to give full series for this team. if they perform then repeat them in the next series and if not then postmortem for some players.

Bangladesh team always put good fight against the Indian team, that's what i like about them. no matter star players play for India or not. we rarely see one sided game in ODI or T-20.

In short no one lost bet here, that's strange.... i am yet to catch up cricket news so not sure about "Cyclone possibility in the next game" and guess there are some game changing updates regarding IPL as well.

i agree with all your points but if i have to chose one moment then this catch changed the game (Ask @littlemouse and @pffrt) and it happened numerous time whenever Bangladesh play against India.

On side note : If any fielder drop catch in boundary and match is in Delhi then its hell for fielder. Delhi's spectators are brutal, Cursing and offensive words used as a helping verb in Delhi casually, i am sure Pandaya got fair amount of wisdom from fans
