There was no problem on the pitch. Good enough pitch and it's a batting-friendly pitch. Kolkata batsmen Gill and Iyer batted very well and their striker rates were 141.18 and 152.75 respectively. If there was any problem on the pitch, they would not be able to bat with such a good striker rate.

Kolkata lost one wicket and won by 9 wickets. However, we have seen a poor performance from RCB players today. They hardly managed to scored 92 runs by losing all of their wickets. It wasn't expected from their strong batting lineup. There is no reason to blame the pitch. KKR played in the same condition but they have chased the target easily within 10 overs.

And England has walked on the same way like New Zealand. They have canceled their T20 series in Pakistan. I think Pakistani cricket fans are disappointed now.

Mate, who said that Royal Challengers Bangalore performed poorly due to the poor condition of the pitch? I did not say that. RCB's batsmen have played badly that is their own problem. Kohli is not good as an opener. He is an experienced player. The team needed his contribution. Second, after De Villiers was out, he could not play well in any other batsman. If Bangalore could have scored more than 120 runs maybe they could have fought for the win.

RCB played like a crap and after today match look like they can go more in trouble because this form can pull them out of play-offs and today win can give some very good confidence to Kolkata bowling out just for 92 and after this winning match by 9 wickets is very good result at the start of this round Russell done good damage in bowling with the figure of 3/9 in just three overs simply match winner for them.

This is really sad news but expected after withdrawal of New Zealand because situation is not good for them in this situation and as they mention players security is very important for them, hopefully in near future we will be able to have cricket in Pakistan for their fans.

May be there was a demon when batting first  , who knows what was going on, RCB once again showed that they are not a good team even if they have all the decorated players in their team and i am not surprised with some of the performances as they are not playing competitive cricket for a long time and full credits to Kolkata Knight Riders spinners especially Varun Chakravarthy.

As a full member of the ICC, they receive funds worth $12 million per year, compared to less than $1 million received by the Scottish cricket board. And despite that, all of the matches were competitive. I personally believe that Zimbabwe's allocaiton should be reduced by 80% and the remainder should be distributed among the other boards. I doesn't benefit anyone. Most of the funds given to Zimbabwe get stolen by by the corrupt officials and politicians.

I had placed my bet on RCB thinking that they can easily win this match. This match was too unpredictable. I never expected them to bat so badly, just 92 runs. This is one of the worst performances by this team and as usual Virat Kohli scored just 5 runs. If they continue like this then they will be out of the tournament very soon.

It is not possible to remove them. That is the problem. Zimbabwe is an authoritarian country and the cricket board is not an autonomous body. And this is not something that has happened very recently. This issue is two decades old and the ICC has been turning a blind eye to it all the time. During this time, around $250 million in ICC funds have been allotted to Zimbabwe. If that money was spent elsewhere, then a lot of countries would have benefitted from it. But the ICC don't want to do that. They always resist change.

I saw the news. That is why New Zealand did not play any match with Pakistan. England is not interested in coming to Pakistan for the same reason. No country will come to Pakistan if there is a security issue. The government of Pakistan must intervene in this matter. Talk to other boards closely. And ensure complete security. No board would want the safety of their players to be threatened.

You are right it's not because of Corona It's just because of Security issues because they also have same source which works for New Zealand, but end of talk is now these both teams not coming in Pakistan for some time which is bad, but we're already facing things like this for many years here we are able to handle this all nothing new for us.

In the end, it comes to money. For CNZ and ECB, having their players participate in the IPL is much more profitable when compared to sending their players on a tour to Pakistan. That said, if Pakistan comes up with the proposal of conducting these matches in the UAE, then these boards need to agree. And for the PCB, that is the most viable option right now. IMO, there is no point in picking up a fight with the SENA boards, when the BCCI is already against them. Doing so will only isolate them further in the field of cricket.

The third match of the IPL is being played between Punjab and Rajasthan. Punjabi decided to bowl after winning the toss. Rajasthan's collection 68/1 in 7 overs. Rajasthan's players are batting well. If they can collect more than 160 runs, maybe that will be a good collection. Looking at their batting so far, it looks like they will be able to collect more than 170.

After 12 over it's 116 for only 3 wickets. Jaiswal and Livingstone have batted very responsibly. Livingstone was out for 25 runs. And Jaiswal is unbeaten on 45. If Rajasthan won't lose a lot of wickets very quickly, then I guess they can easily collect more than 180. And this is a very good collection to win. I think Rajasthan Royals will win today.

The highest total so far in this leg of IPL. At one point, it looked as if Rajasthan Royals may end up with 220-230, but Punjab Kings made a comeback in the last few overs and restricted them to 185. A total of 5 wickets fell in the last three overs, as Arshdeep Singh picked 5 wickets and Mohammed Shami three. RR will be disappointed with their finishing, but the total is huge. Given the volatile form of the Punjab batsmen, I would say that RR is having a solid advantage. All they need to do is to bowl in a disciplined manner.
