After a poor performance in the first two matches, Afghanistan's players are now back in form. They are very good today. They set a huge target of 133 runs in just 11 overs. However, as Ireland's batting line-up was strong, Ireland was likely to win. A brilliant performance by the tone Afghanistan bowlers resulted in Ireland losing 10 wickets for just 105 runs. Afghanistan's batsmen and bowlers both contributed to the team's win. I think Afghanistan will win the final match as well.

Ireland players had no other option without looking for boundaries. I'm not going to give any credit to Afghanistan bowlers for this victory. They have won the match for their powerful batting. The last T20 is going to be interesting. In my view, both teams have equal chance to win the match.

The main reason for Ireland's defeat was their weak and inexperienced bowling line-up. They also lost against New Zealand for the same reason. Collecting 133 runs in 11 overs is very difficult. If the bowlers could have stopped the Afghanistan players within 110 then Ireland had a chance of winning. If the bowlers fail to perform well in the last match too, Ireland will be defeated.

Ireland's bowlers took a massive beating in the last match. Their bowling action must have been poor. Almost every one of their bowlers gave more runs which implies well for opponents Afghanistan. On an average, Afghanistan scored 12 runs per over which enabled them to score big and ultimately win the match.

Some of the Ireland players have bowled a lot of balls as well as getting out for zero runs but taking less runs. Here is the reason for the defeat for the Irish.

However they came short against Ireland in the final match and eventually lost the series, but it was an nice entertaining match and clearly Ireland deserved this victory.

The match was not played in 20 overs. Ireland was given a target of only 56 runs in 7 overs. And you guessed right. Ireland won the match. Ireland won the 5-match series against Afghanistan 3-2. This is a great achievement for the Ireland cricket team. I hope they will play better in the upcoming series.

I was watching it live on Fancode, but then the rain interruption happened. After that I lost interest. I checked the scorecard and I could see that it was a close match. Target of 56 could have been easy for Ireland, but they managed to make it complicated. And they should be really worried about the poor form of both of their openers (Paul Stirling & Andy Balbirnie). These two are considered as their best batsmen, but looks out of form for a while. The middle order on the other hand is looking good (Lorcan Tucker, Harry Tector and George Dockrell).

I believe Afghanistan was going to make some big shots and get some quick runs in the end but the rain interruption was really bad for them. The interruption came at a bad time. I really don’t understand how Afghanistan could have won the match when Ireland is only needing to score 56 runs in seven overs and they have all the 10 wickets in hand. In the end, I would say that it was easy for Ireland. And certainly not a finish that a lot of people wanted to see, at least I wanted to see a good finish to this series.

After losing the first two matches, Afghanistan fell far behind. Afghanistan won the third and fourth matches due to Ireland's poor bowling. But in the last match, Ireland's bowlers bowled very well. Afghanistan's performance has been weaker than before. None of the batsmen in the team is playing well consistently.

There are some big teams which in these matches they play some games which is not worth mentioning but here I see the teams are there but some of them lose because of their failure but anyway the games are very good to watch and many from here.  Something can be learned

Agreed and even in those matches against India and New Zealand, Ireland gave good fight. India won the match in a very small margin. The performance from Ireland is good, but it lacks experience. Surely this will turn to be one among the top teams in the coming years. Afghanistan is no low to Ireland, because it equalled the series 2-2 after losing the first two matches. The fifth match is a win for Ireland which is based on DLS method.

We have already resulted of this series which is indicating Ireland as winner even DLS method has his own plus and minus points but still Ireland were good team, and they deserve this win with their performance in this match and in early matches but still I want to say Afghanistan is also not bad at all they are just unpredictable like we have Pakistan and West Indies which is their nature, and they can do good in a match then suddenly a big change in performance from them in second match which means they are giving their best.

Overall, in my opinion they lost first two matches with their performance and then fight back which was the best part of this series, and secondly they have good experience of playing in these conditions which will help them in near future for having better results.

Can't agree with you here. DLS is the best we have as of now. It is much better than the earlier system, which resulted in South Africa being set a target of 21 runs from 1 ball back in 1992 World Cup (original target was 22 runs from 13 balls, and it was revised to 21 from 1 after the rain interruption). I found DLS quite neutral. There may be one-off incidents where fans are not happy with the outcome. For yesterday's match, I find no issue with the revised target. Afghanistan was in a bad situation after losing 5 wickets and Irish bowlers were bowling tightly.

T20 cricket is a very small scale game. No prediction works in this short range game. The 20-over team that can bat well and bowl at an economic rate will win the match. Currently, Afghanistan has improved a lot in T20 cricket. They have some world class players in their team who can dominate the match in any situation Especially for the T20, Afghanistan has a strong bowling line-up as well as a batting lineup. I think India, Australia, England, Pakistan, they are capable of a very tough fight.

I think there could be some substitution of the DLS system right now. we have come a long way since that DLS system was introduced. I know that the DLS system has been revised probably a couple of times but I really think it is a bit outdated right now. I obviously realize that the earlier system Brought the target of 22 runs from 13 balls to 22 runs from 1 ball. and if I am not wrong DLS was introduced almost right after that. so it has been a long time and I think  this matter needs to be seriously looked into

Nope, Bro T20 Refers to the true power show as team got a small time set down on cries and achieve the high target in less time. in other words T20 shows how team can convert the lossing game into winning one. Focus the point when in an ODI match there is a situation when team requires to set up High Runs chase then the experience of T20 clearly helps a lot so we cant say T 20 is not a Judging game. The same bowling lineup has created pressure on Afghanistan players in the 5th T20. Therefore, I don't think Afghanistan bowlers are really weak. Innings overs had been reduced. So, every team would try to score in the same way as Afghanistan players have done it in that low over match. However, Ireland has won the 5th T20 match as well as the series. I didn't expect such result before the start of this series.

When Afghanistan toured Ireland in 2018 they won the series and this time around Ireland were coming close to victory against teams like England and India. It is the momentum Ireland had right now and the way they were playing against top teams gave them the confidence to perform better against Afghanistan.

I bet on Ireland in this match. Because the performance of Afghanistan players was erratic throughout the series. Also, when the match was delayed due to rain, I was almost certain that Ireland would definitely win if the match was played in the DLS method. Because Ireland's batting line-up is stronger than Afghanistan's.

DLS was revised once or twice after it was introduced. At this point, it is the most unbiased system available. And they do modify the DLS targets based on the results from completed matches. And regarding the 5th match between Ireland and Afghanistan, I don't know why everyone is just assuming that Afghanistan could have scored a lot of runs in the final 5 overs. It could have gone just the opposite way. Ireland pacers were in very good form and they could have wrapped up the Afghan middle and lower order quickly.
