India played really well and especially Dinesh Karthik had a really good time with the bat in this match. I don't think India has done anything absolutely incredible in the batting but I believe they have done really well in the bowling lineup. It is true that South Africa was a little unlucky because their captain got injured and had to leave the field. That obviously gave India a little advantage over south Africa. Hardik Pandya also played really well for India. Now they have leveled it to 2-2. It's going to be a very interesting final match of the t20 series.

Dinesh Karthik is surely doing an amazing job and now it's time for Selectors to reward him for his performance in recent matches which could be good for this skilled player who is serving for a long time in this Indian team.

With the last two wins, I am not going to applaud India because they are not doing anything special just Proteas are losing their grip and suddenly after a very good start of the series now chocking very badly which is nothing new for them as they have done already many times now we have last and final T-20 tomorrow which is going to be very exciting as new Indian team will try their best for clinch this series and Proteas will fight hard for the win of this last match and series after disappointed two matches which bring them down at level after 2 big wins.

The batting lineup needs to do some better as their bowlers are already in good touch and capable of restricting any batting lineup.

I also don't think that India has done anything really great in the last two matches. I think the South African team needed to play a lot better than they have and now it looks like they might face a choked defeat in this t20 series.

But, I have to say in the previous match India was batting really well. South African bowlers could have done better. The last match is going to be the decider and I hope it will not be a one-sided match. And if Dinesh Kartik is able to play really well in the last match I think the selectors are going to do justice to him.

Every match is being played in a different venue. This too have something to do with the game. In the first match India was able to set a good target, but South Africa managed to chase it without much difficulty. In the second match India didn't make a good target. In the third match batsmen made a good target and bowlers supported it. Fourth match target set by India is enough, but it could've been chased by South Africa. So, it looks like India haven't improved much but the South Africa team performance have gone down. Maybe this can be due to the venues.

BCCI's plan is long-term. Dinesh Karthik is now over 37 years old. He will be able to stay with the team for a maximum of 2 years. Rishab Pant may not be in good form now. But from now on, if BCCI cannot make Rishab Pant suitable for the Indian team, then the Indian team will be short of experienced players in the future. India has a lot of talented players. But there are very few experienced players. And so RIshab Pant played poorly in a few matches but BCCI is giving him ample opportunity to get back in form.

Agreed. But then, the BCCI need to look beyond Rishabh Pant. IMO, Rishabh has been given too many opportunities, and that is not fair to some of the other younger players. I am not just talking about Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan (the latter is more or less a permanent part of the T20 squad now), but about some of the other keeper-batsmen such as K.S. Bharat, Anuj Rawat and Jitesh Sharma. I am not going to push too hard for Samson, because he has also wasted a lot of chances so far. And there was some controversy regarding his selection policy for the RR.

Completely opposite point of view. Bowlers are important part but T-20 is a format for the batters. In this format we can't expect bowlers to bail out team every time.

Lower strike rates are directly connected to batter wasting opportunity to score runs, not the other way around. If Career SR is hanging around 130-132 then it's understandable because sometime you click, sometime you don't but if your match SR is going down from that mark then it's bad for the team.

I disagree. Batters are more important in the T-20 format surely, but bowlers are also very important. There is no point in scoring 200+ scores in 20 overs if your bowlers bowl like crap.

Strike rate is definitely not everything and the recent matches between India and Pakistan basically proved that. Asking batsmen to score like crazy puts more pressure on them which screws their natural game.

IPL is not just important for the India players. Dozens of overseas players take part as well, and almost all the members of the current South African squad participated in the IPL this season. Therefore I don't believe that the IPL provides any added advantage for the Indian players. And IMO, it is more beneficial for the South African players. Because Indian players already receive sky high salaries from the BCCI. That is not the case with players from South Africa or Australia. For them, the IPL may represent up to 80% of their annual purse.

The players were scattered in different teams and not playing as a unit in the IPL and to perform as a team it will take some time and bonding that is what happened in the first two matches.

If the overs are reduced more then India will face more problems. Because the South African batsmen are very experienced and they can bat destructively.

After reducing this match from twenty to ninety it's still not working and we have rain again which is consistently going on in Bengaluru with this most chances we are heading for draw series which is good for both teams and their new good players are going to share this honour. Even though both have ups and downs in this series but they can learn from their mistakes and can do much better in future especially as both teams are preparing for the T-20 World Cup which is going to play in Australia in October and if I am not wrong both teams are in the same group which is good.

From now India's next destination is Ireland, England and West Indies before World Cup and South Africa is also heading for their tough English tour.

The chances of the two teams winning the final match were equal. In the first two matches, we saw great batting from South Africa. They even won by collecting 212 runs from 19.1 overs. But the performance of their batsmen in the last two matches was very poor. They lost all their wickets in just 87 runs. And so I was waiting to enjoy the last match. I thought the last match would be competitive. But the match was abandoned due to rain.
