Although Ireland were well ahead in the race to win, Afghanistan team showed their best performance to win the match. Although the game had a lot of chances for Ireland to win, unfortunately Afghanistan won by 10 runs as the over ran out. Although the Afghanistan team scored only 152 runs, this was not much for Ireland, but when Ireland went into bat, the Afghans' bowling performance was good which put them under pressure. We were very excited to see Ireland winning the first ODI and many thought that they might do an upset in the 2nd ODI and may win the series but this did not happen in the 2nd ODI. We had a close game but in the end Afghanistan won by only 10 runs. I think it was Rashid khan who was the difference between the two teams. He took four wickets and also made a quick 25 runs.

If we see the batting of Afghanistan team then they did not have a good start. However Muhammad Nabi made 59 runs in the middle of the innings which helped the Afghanistan team to reach some total to defend.

Then it was all Rashid Khan spell that made all sort of problems for the Ireland batsmen. Although they started the innings good with Andy Balbirnie making 45 runs and the captain Paul Stirling made a 24 but then the rest of the batsmen were not able to capitalize on this start and they fell short of 10 runs. Yesterday Rashid Khan was on fire, he was just coming from a back injury and now he is playing this match in a fit mood. He didn't lose his form after injury, I think he got a better type of playing after injury. He played in bowling and batting meanwhile injury can do nothing for Rashid Khan.

It is a decent target given by Multan Sultan. Islamabad has started well. Munro is smashing the ball from the start. The start in the first over for them has been well. Well well well it's great fun and excitement to watch PSL 9 final between two of the strongest side of this competition, to be honest I was fully supporting and expecting Multan sultan to won this important match but when they bat first and lose his important wickets too quick at that moment I got a bit indication that they are out of tournament especially at dismissal of thier main player Rizwan and Usman khan. In last thanks to chahu iftikhar whose show his magic otherwise it will be one sided match. Anyway when it come to Islamabad bat the expecting from Multan bowling again doesn't goes well and Thier opener get handsome opportunity which he properly utilize and set a momentum in such crutical situation for rest of thier player through his half century and thus on last ball the young hunain played brilliant shot and make his team Islamabad United third time Champ of PSL 🏆

Afghanistan team brilliant performance in thus game batting first scored 155/7. Ireland failed to chase the target even with Curtis Campher 28-run and Harey Tector innings but the Ireland team All Out in just 98 scores in the 18th over of the game. Ibrahim Zadran was the top scorer of the match by playing an aggressive innings of 72 runs unbeaten and won the series.

Iftikar's firecrackers in last couple overs that took Multan's to a good total, his excellent catch of Munro.

The mix-up between Azam Khan and Guptil that cost Guptil his wicket, it was Guptil's fault, and from his reaction it appeared he owned it up, he must have realized it later it was Azam Khan on other side and he may not able to run that fast, lol. BTW, Azam Khan's straight six just couple balls before Guptil's run out was beauty.
