It would be nice to have these sorts of standards but they simply wouldn't be economically viable for most startups that don't have much capital to commit up front to get their idea off the ground, and it's more an issue of quality over quantity as you'll find most participants would not have any issues promoting great quality projects with reputable teams there just isn't as many of those being launched at present and there won't be until a more regulated environment is created with better protection for investors

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

If we can be sure about any project to be a scam or not, then it would be so much possible for that. But the bad news is, we can't really know which is the real project or the most high quality project, since sometimes when we think on a project as a the most perfect project it could end with scam, and vice versa.

You're right. Startups do not usually have so many funds to launch their project. Some teams raise a significant amount of fiat or crypto currencies on the initial stage of private sale, but these money cannot cover the entire target capitalization of a coin or token.

Signature campaigns that run in the "Marketplace Service" section always escrow the full amount of the allocation, but this BTC amount is not large.

I agree that it is necessary to fight against scam bounties, but the idea proposed by @OP is almost impracticable.

You should stop for promoting scam project, what for you are promoting project without got payment and you will do nothing for your earning or your reward, always promote success project where you will get payment at the end of bounty campaign.

it's hard to stop fraudulent projects but we can prevent them with our vigilance before choosing a fraud project and I think they scammers certainly don't care about bounty hunters or parties related to the ico project. what they want for their personal interests.

It is hard to do because there are so many projects out there,

Indeed, it is very difficult to find out about fraudulent projects or not. But indeed we must continue to study so that we can choose good projects. I personally follow experienced Bounty managers. Then look at websites, experienced teams, and developers.

mandatory. If they don't have a clear product and offered only a token, then I think they should be banned.

can not ignore,
it is not easy to know which projects are fraudulent or genuine. maybe if it can be tracked down someone who promotes a fraud project, so that anyone will be arrested and who will commit fraud so they will be afraid.

so many fraud projects and so far there are still many who have been deceived. because bad people can do anything and with various things to cheat, so we must be careful.

Project fraud is indeed a lot of popping up now, we must be very careful in looking for a good project, a good project must have a good team as well as a clear goal of the project, you should be able to learn more in detail about an ongoing project

I am remembering [ETCV] Ethereum Classic Vision | Fork 3:1 of Ethereum, this hurts my feelings. the promotion was very intense and it turned out to be just fraud. projects like this that are not clearly token, only carry big names ethereum (ETH) and carry many victims. But how do we stop it? very tempting payments sometimes cover up the fact that they are fraudsters, while in this forum there is no limit that can make users prohibit scam projects, because admin is also not possible to check all new topics.

Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
Good idea. But I think most projects come to get funding so that the project can run according to what was planned, but when funding is not enough some projects become scam projects. So in my opinion, for now it's better to keep observing and analyzing your project that you will follow and continue to see its development.

I agree, the ideas delivered are good but to make it happen is not easy, so it is better to avoid scam projects we have to analyze
and monitor the progress of the project to be followed, funding problems really affect the success or failure of a project

This topic has been raised many times already and we still have not moved a single step in this matter, there are a lot of scammers and scam projects prevail in this forum. Now, of course, less due to the fact that the market is in a drawdown, but in the best of times when the market was growing, there were a lot of stocks.

They are the dumbest scammers I've ever known. ETCV has been advertised very enthusiastically before the hard fork. But until the end it was just a scam game of a child

Yes, it should be like that. Projects must have large funds to develop their products. I agree, we should stop promoting projects that do not have funds, and only want to get funds from selling tokens. Because it can be confirmed, if their target fails they will stop developing the project, because there are no funds that can be managed.

This is a really good idea...I totally support this. I have never received a single token from my efforts to support a bounty in 2018 and looking at the comments on this forum I am not the exception. Too many projects have abused the users here and got away with it.

of course you can, because in promoting a project it certainly follows our will. if we don't want to promote fraud projects, we better stop.
