Its already happening in crypto space ,many fake and scam ICO projects are seeing lower innocents to prey on now due to the fact that newbies are been forced to learn how to detect good projects ,sooner or later scam will fade from the face of crypto space because no one will invest in them anymore

maybe we can see more details about the scam project. if indeed the project is a scam I think it can be used as one of the things we must avoid. I agree more if there is a special body that handles ico to tighten the rules of ico, and also can prevent fraudsters from making ico to cheat investors.

Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
this is a very good idea, especially I am also a bounty hunter who really wants to avoid fraudulent projects.
but I feel that this will be difficult to do, we cannot manage everything according to our wishes, except if we are people who are very influential for everyone.

But how do we differentiate scam projects and not scam. They work very neatly to do this. It's very difficult to prevent or someone can make a special policy here. We need to think about this and find a solution because so many are harmed

Yes escrow is a good idea and payment in BTC and ETH is also exceptional. However, the thing is, the projects pay a small amount o bounty hunters as compared to their native tokens. For me i think it worth it than payment in tokens. At least it will save the project from a dump in price (token) by some bouny hunters

Yep its really hard to differentiate scam project to legit project because a lot of project have a same concept my way to avoid joining scam project I always look for a legit campaign manager because in alt bounty theres a lot of newbie that managing a campaign and this is so suspicious and not using an escrow.

Checking their details online is a good move but isn't enough to tell if a project is a scam or would be a scam. They could be clean in the initial stage and start acting unusual when the time for payment is due. That's could be also scam

Promoting scam project is not something that any bounty hunter would willingly do nevertheless it happens all the time and the blockchain and cryptocurrency flooded with scam and below standard project what I think needs to be done now is a separate section opened for analysing new project on this forum so that people can easily cause check the validity of a project before enjoying in their bounty campaigns

Absolutely yes we can stop promoting scam projects by preventing it so we have to look for the bounty projects of its legit or not so we cant promote a scam projects. those people who promotes  scam projects are the members of the project and some are the beginners here  so they dont know how to look for a good project.

It is very difficult to spot scam projects, as they are also using a lot of money for advertisement. If we can't spot them, so how can we (bounty hunters) stop promoting these projects.

No one wants to promote a fraudulent project. most of them are victims of fraudulent checks. and in my opinion there must indeed be a change for the market in order to be able to benefit

But bounty hunters is not going to stop from joining bounties, the steps needs o be taken from the forum side to make it happen and already many people suggested theymos to have the signature campaigns in this forum which pays in the bitcoin or in already listed coins,so we need to see what is the decision by theymos on this case.

That's going to be great if this is approved we will stop seeing ICO paying their token and paying only tradeable token, I have seen one good project that is paying ethereum in their bounty campaign but the offer is not attractive they are paying signature participants $3 $8 worth of Ethereum I don't think it will attract people.

We need to stop doing it, but the problem is that investors and bounty hunters are too lazy to check the project before taking part in it. They just want to get profit and do not care if the project is legit or not.

According to my opinion, we stop promoting fraudulent projects in a way, we delete from the ICO list that indeed has the potential for fraud. but we know together that to detect an ICO fraud is difficult because, we only learned about good ICO or fraudulent when it ended the ICO campaign period.

But it has become really difficult to spot an Scam ICO, even the promising ones always turns out to be scam in the end. I guess we can tell if the ICO is legit if they will pay their bounty hunters with btc or eth, which is unlikely to happen.
