Thats just a not so celebrated pump because in just a day ripple took the number 2 position again But what we have yesterday until today is a dominance from Ethereum to prove that he is still the next cryptocurrency to bitcoin as this coin now are covering Ripple fo more than 2 billion dollars in capitalization competition in winning second place in coinmarketcap is increasingly exciting because it competes to be the best, yesterday ripple dominated several weeks and now it is ethereum's turn to dominate it. |

Ethereum is a very great concept and it is growing by every new ICO that starts. In long term it may get the first position. But there are some technical improvements needed for ethereum to be scalable enough.

Ethereum not just get back to number 2 spot in the coinmarketcap.
They also to manage to enlarge the gap from RIPPLE. this is how you can tell that the coins is really into something and not just depending on the price growth of BTC.
They ar now just getting up with USD value but with BTC also!

That is a good news!! Though ETH's price been down for the past year, and not just down but horribly down, but it manages to climb back up to second position. I hope this will get better and better than last year because i never lost faith in ETH. I believe that ETH will get their glorious back.

Yes, it was just of a sudden that Ripple (XRP) came to overtook the position of Ethereum on the coin market cap. But I as an Ethereum token holder, am glad that it takes back its possible from Ripple. Ethereum project has really gone so far, and hopefully it will continue going.

this has happened long enough. I think ETH will continue to maintain its position as long as the price continues to increase. besides, there are currently many coins that are recovering. I believe in the potential of ETH, not only to return to position 2, but ETH will definitely be back competing with bitcoin. |

Amazing news for all crypto lovers. I cannot stand Ripple and hope that this coin is going to be replaced by a much better altcoin that truly deserves to be on the third position like NEO, TRX, LTC or BitcoinCash.

The market cap of cryptocurrency is volatile due the price, the coin position can be changed at any time. Maybe ETH price is going up now because the Constantinople fork, it has been delayed few weeks ago. But no matter how ETH price rising, i guess it won't surpassed the bitcoin's marketcap. |

Thiis is the real nuber 2, i never compare Ethereum and Ripple. Ripple is centralized platform , it's against crypto nature. In my opinion, in future we will not remember Ripple.

I have the impression that after a while deferens can outrun Bitcoin by capitalization.
