I can report I've got 6GHash of icarus boards now mining against P2Pool happily with low stale rate. (can be seen live at www.btcsyn.com)

I'm using MPBM (testing branch) to control them.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

It is working but not too stable for me with win7. I had 2 BSOD (bluescreen of death) in a row. I had to switch back to MPBM.

I'm in win7 for now and had 2 bsod, one with cgminer 2.3.3 and ozcoin(bad pool header), default miner.py does not even run @ozcoin

and on some random I forgot the bsod message

Never tried the stock miner. Try MPBM. Works very well with ozcoin.

batch 4 reduced power consuming to about <19W at full load with fan (boards input).  Shocked
i tried some hi-end MOSFETs.  Grin

details:

IDLE:  3.1W(with out fan) / 4.1W (with fan)
FULL LOAD: 17.2W(with out fan) / 18.2W (with fan)

all boards input.

Nice job ngzhang. Those who got in on batch 4 are lucky. Hey I'm wondering though when you're going to release details regarding your next project. Are you moving towards a quad FPGA setup?

Don't you know that releasing something in May generally means releasing it on the 31th of May earliest? Smiley

It's the so-called Golden Week in China, a 7 day national holiday. ngzhang is probably chilling with his family right now.

It had been already shortened to 3 days from 2008. But the holiday of early October still lasts for 7 days.

Anxious to see it too. I'm expecting the MH/$ of BFL/GPU and the MH/J of Icarus/ztex. Grin

This doesn't seem too far-fetched actually. I heard some rumors about it being a dual Spartan6-LX150 board, bitstream-compatible with Icarus, running 250-300MH/s per FPGA. Which would actually be great news for all current Icarus owners...
